We were staying in Shell Knob for fall break and happened upon this old school Pizza Hut! Had to take the kids. First off, our server Dylan was so nice. He gave us extra breadsticks and a discount, as well as some quarters for my kids to use the little toy machines at the front. The food was amazing. I forgot how good Pizza Hut was back in the day when you could dine in. Loved the Tiffany lamps and red cups just like being a kid in the 80s/90s! This Pizza Hut definitely has the best view of any Pizzeria I've ever been. I ordered a large Pepperoni, sausage and mushroom, unfortunately they were out of mushrooms. I also ordered a large serving of chicken wings, unfortunately they all were out of wings. I'm not sure how either of those things happen, but for what ever reason it did. The staff was nice and worked quickly. My pizza, minus the mushrooms and wings was excellent. Fortunately, for this location having a beautiful view and a boat dock at your disposal is a definate no miss for attracting customers. read more

I used to love to eat at this restaurant. They had the best crispiest pizza around, it just seemed way better than regular Pizza Huts. On May 31st I brought in a large group(7). The restaurant was not that busy. It looked like there were about nine people working behind the counter that day and in the kitchen. I was very specific in placing my order so that they understood my order. At first they told me they cannot make a thin crust pizza because they didn't have the right dough. They later tell me that they don't make the dough anymore it comes already processed and from another facility. I was really surprised to hear that. I guess that's another way to dumb everything down so that you operate like a robot. On one of the pizzas I specifically asked no green peppers please substitute pineapple instead. When the pizza came out they did the exact opposite, no pineapple on the pizza and lots of green peppers. Some of the pizza did not have any sauce on it. All of our orders came out wrong that day. We were so famished and after waiting almost an hour to get our food we just went ahead and ate it. I didn't ask for a discount or to see a manager or anything else. If you would've seen the staff that day you'd understand. I think Pizza Hut should take a good hard look at this facility and make a guest appearance or maybe an unidentified appearance to see how their product is being served. I'm guessing they already know this since they're the ones making the decision to bring the dough in from another facility. Here's a few pictures of what we experienced that day. I've seen the changes come around with this restaurant. Pizza Hut used to be spot on, in all of their pizza and products. First they do away with the salad bar and buffet. I get it during Covid it seemed like that was the SOP at the time. but now we know the real story on that by itself. So I guess they made an executive decision not to bring back a salad bar or a buffet which they were both famous for pre-Covid. I'm not sure how much more clearly I could've stated in my order since I went up to the front and talked to a manager before they made my pizzas. I had to convince them that they could make my pizza in a medium instead of a large since they didn't have the crust to make a large. I'm still a little confused about the whole process, they tell me it's not the same dough that they used on thin crust as a regular pizza. Seems like it used to be that way? This used to be one of my regular stops when going through shell knob. I'm sorry to say I could care less if I ever eat at this particular establishment again. I ordered about four pizzas that day and my bill was over $100. I'm guessing that's why they won't bring the buffet back, I could've spent about maybe $50-$60 on a buffet and gotten all kinds of pizza and a salad bar. Now you have to pay for salad separately. And by the way the description of the salad on the menu does not resemble anything that they bring out on a plate. I've had better pizza from the grocery store. Normally when you buy a thin crust pizza it's very crispy it comes out of the oven. You couldn't take this pizza off the tray without a spatula. Floppiest thin crust pizza I've ever seen. Hope this helps somebody else with their dining choice in Shell knob. read more

We came in and they said they were out of cheese. Som was on the way in 10 min. 15 minutes later after watching pizzas going out the door, I went and asked what's up. Looking in the kitchen they were making pizzas. We ordered and are waiting on our pizza. The are out of green plans mushroom as well. Another group of 4 sat and waited as well, but just got up and left. The were never given a chance to order. read more

Such a great little Pizza Hut in such a great location! We met some family members here that were working in the area yesterday. The staff is super friendly and the food was delicious! Fresh and tasty! And the beer was cold! Nice place to gather, they have plenty of room for small groups. We will be back! read more

WOW...Just got a couple of Medium Thin Crust pizzas for carry-out. One was a meat lover and the other a pepperoni lover. Both were piping hot and DELICIOUS! Well done Shell Knob Pizza hut. At Shell Knob Pizza Hut, you feel at home. Everyone treats you as if you family and greets you with the kindest smile. I had the wonderful opportunity of having the kindest server Jesse who was quick to answer my questions and choose the best pizza for myself and my family. The food was delicious and a 5/5. This Pizza Hut has one pretty spectacular quality that sets it apart from others. Aside from the fact that it is probably the only pizza place within a 30 minute radius, this Pizza Hut has a DOCK. You heard me right, a dock. If you've spent a long day out on the lake and you're craving pizza, drive over to the Table Rock bridge, tie your boat up to the special dock, walk up the hill, and sit outside in your bathing suit and towel while waitresses bring you pizza, soda and beer. The food isn't spectacular, but how many other places can you get served pizza in your bathing suit at Table Rock Lake!?! read more

I know Pizza Hut is a chain, but this Pizza Hut has a boat dock. Yes a boat dock. So say you are out on the lake all morning and you get hungry around lunch time what are you to do? Now you could fish, maybe catch some, then have to pull ashore, clean them and cook them. Or you could pull the boat out and go home and eat. Or best solution call Pizza Hut and tell them you will be by the boat dock and have them bring you a pizza. Seriously. We have done this several times. We will order a pizza and drinks and pull up to the dock and get our grub then we are back out in sun for fun. Easiest and best way to grab a pizza and go. They are also a regular pizza hut with delivery, carry out and dine in. Great food, great service. read more

This is a really good place for when your hungry on the lake and don't want to leave. You can park your boat in their dock then walk up a small hill to find yourself there. You could also call them before your there and they will bring the food to the dock. The service is also good, we went to a a booth but our family has 5 people so it was not to comfortable but then a waiter cleaned a table and asked us to sit there. It was a good pizza and nothing on it was bad. The crust was also pretty good alone. I recommend coming here. read more

So yes it's a chain and while the food isn't anything special, there is a dock at this Pizza Hut. Pretty darn cool. Dock your boat and make the trek up the stairs and eat in. Or pick it up and eat out on the lake. Pick up on your way home from a fun day in the sun. This is probably the only Pizza Hut I won't complain about going to. read more

We like to pull the boat up and dock and go up and grab lunch. It is so much fun. Our server was nice today. Our table was crowded so he cleaned another table and moved us. The pizza was yummy and cheap. We got 2 mediums with any toppings for $6.99 each. Best deal on the lake. I enjoyed the Supreme pizza. They also will deliver to the dock. read more

We recently had lunch at this restaurant and it was filthy. All the tables were stacked w dirty dishes, the floors were littered, even the windows were sticky and dirty. The salad bar was empty and we waited 45 minutes before finally receiving food that wasn't hot. Not once did the waitress offer to refill our drinks. There were plenty of employees and it was NOT a busy time (2:00pm), absolutely no attempt was being made to bus tables or "straighten up". We plan to never eat here again. read more
