    Throwback

The Filling Station is basically an old-style diner with more modern food. It has a great variety of breakfast dishes both with meat and without. Portions are good-sized, but not huge. Ideal for most adults. Cool atmosphere with a throwback to earlier days. Popular place; has both indoor and outdoor seating. Our only miss was that we ordered orange juice to go with coffee - never received it - got charged for it. Besides that - things were great.

This place is amazing! The menu is unique and incredibly tasty! You get a lot of food for the price! I had the BLT on toasted brioche bread. It was perfectly toasted and bacon was crisp. It was $16 and came with 7 slices of bacon. Enough to share with the table The Eureka Cale with blueberries was delightful. If had a sweet vanilla flavor and was slightly crisp! Chicken and waffles was wonderful. Chicken was crispy and it was just the right amount of food. Everyone enjoyed their meals. The place is rather small but it is worth the wait. The service is amazing for such a crowded tight place. They are supper friendly. Love that the bikers are there! You also see a lot of locals-so you know the food is good. It did not disappoint! We were in town from Thursday-Sunday and we went twice!

Perfect ratio of icing to roll finally!

Wife and I stopped in for a late breakfast. We were greeted and sat right away. Our server did a great job from all aspects. He was polite, friendly and checked in regularly to make sure we didn't need anything. Both of us had the Ozark Benny. It was a good size portion for the money. The eggs ware cooked perfectly, the biscuit was really good. The sausage patties were tasty and well cooked. I do have to say the hash browns were a little over cooked and very crispy, but it was getting close to closing time so I think they had sat on the grill a little bit longer than they should. As for ambiance, they have some music playing and the overall theme is cars and old time garage. The place was clean, all the servers seemed to be on their game, keeping up with their customers and turning tables quickly. I would certainly eat here again if back in the area.

Check out the Filling Station in Eureka Springs, AR!! It's a quaint eating stop for your breakfast mains, nothing extraordinary fancy. We had a great visit in the historic town.. The Filling Station staff will make you feel right at home. I do recommend the breakfast menu, which we ordered from along with a cup of hot coffee... it's basic, but you'll enjoy your visit.

We pulled up to The Filling Station this morning and my husband said, "Now this is what I'm talking about." We love little local joints to eat at and this did not disappoint. It had a car theme going on in the decor, which was cute and fun. The eggs Benedict with prime rib was the special today, so that's what I got! The lady who served it to me accidentally flipped one of the eggs over, so it's not picture perfect, however it was delicious! I got it with the ham and it was very filling. My husband got the steak and eggs and really enjoyed it. He said the biscuit and gravy was average, but the cinnamon roll was excellent. It was warm and the icing melted all over it. Service was great! Bathrooms were clean! We would definitely eat here again if in town!

This place was packed! But we had a wonderful waiter that was very nice and helpful. The ribeye was amazing and cooked perfectly. The omelet lacked cheese but it was all fresh veggies and the meat was cooked to perfection. Pancake was absolutely delish too! We were pleased to see bloody Mary's and mimosas on the menu!! The bloody was just alright, but we love zing zang mix with lots of seasoning. We will stick with mimosas next time!

GREAT food! Came during a very busy period and was seated after a small wait, the server treated us well and handled our order as well as all needs promptly during our meal. The steaks and eggs are a must, their biscuits and gravy were spot on.

The food was par but very slow getting our food. Parking is very tight. We would probably not go back due to our choices.

The food is reminiscent of Cracker Barrel. The ambiance is similar too, although, Mae's has many old photos of historic Eureka Springs which I adored. We all shared a piece of possum pie which is a famous layered dessert of Arkansas. I'd never had it, but was dying to try it. Highly recommend. The sweet two little old ladies beside us asked about it... There is a small gift shop with local items on display such as jewelry, books, and several foods in jars. Not sure if I'm a raving fan just yet, but it's a good go-to restaurant if everything else is crowded. They do close a bit early, though. We were early for the season. We had excellent service from Kristen who was very friendly, informative, and attentive. I had the chicken topped with all of topping, odd goat cheese, and balsamic drizzle. It was fabulous. Also liked the mashed potatoes. My husband enjoyed the creamy Gorgonzola pasta dish with caramelized onions and cherry tomatoes. There were several good looking desserts, but we were too full to try any. Ambience fairly simple but a row of cute lamps lining the shelf up above. There's a small restaurant area as well as a bar area. Some tables outside, but it was too cool for us to try that. The food matches the setting. The crab cakes are better than most places--crispy on the outside, packed with flavor, and not overly heavy. The cobb salad is a standout too--loaded with a great mix of toppings (definitely check the pic), fresh, and actually filling. The meatball & grits were solid, and the wedge fries on the side hit the spot--simple but done right. This is an easy, go-to lunch spot whether you're taking a break from exploring downtown or wrapping up a day walking around. Great food, relaxed atmosphere, and a perfect place to slow things down for a bit.
