I didn't catch the names of the two guys at the counter but: they were the nicest, most pleasant people I've ever met that work in the food industry. Everything about being there was great. I rode a motorcycle in bad weather all day only to show up and be treated so well it made my day a winner. I ordered pizza from these people all the time and up until this year today as of 5/20/2026 my experience has left me feeling like every company is trying to cheat the customer. if you're hungry for pizza go to the Pilot and you'll get a fresh one without someone trying to spit in your food when you complain about it at Pizza Hut. I called to speak to the manager today and she says that I'm badgering her because I'm gonna write a bad review I explained to her because she said she's been working for this place for six years and six years I've been a repetitive customer but this time I'm not gonna be a customer anymore and I was gonna write a review in which she was getting upset and saying that I'm badgering her about the experience that I had because I waited two days in terms of the time when I ordered it at 7:38 PM. Why would I want to complain to someone when the manager wasn't there? The manager of this Pizza Hut is offended because you know that you guys are skipping out on people's orders and it's not worth the experience or expense. There is no ambience you don't wanna sit there and have your food. They don't even want you to even be there let alone carry out.. I've only taken my food out because why it's not inviting it looks dead and boring, and it doesn't look clean to sit down. We arrived at 10:40 and the sign on the door said they were open at 10:30. Two employees were outside smoking. We parked the car and gave the dog a drink then made our way to the door, which was locked.... And the sign that gave the hours had been removed. read more

Wow. I just gave this place another chance 5 months after getting very ill from their pizza. Obviously I'm dumb because even though I only ordered a medium with a "safe" mushroom topping, the pizza was horrible! The crust tasted like it was made by mixing a 10 year old open box of Saltines with water then baked. The cheese had NO flavor. There was only about 10 mushrooms. The sauce was clumped up on the edges. It was so bad I want to throw it all up and return that to them. It was so bad they should have paid ME to eat it. What is wrong with you guys??? I ordered bread sticks, soda and a pepperoni thin crust pizza. Which is what I got. The bread sticks were exactly what I expect of Pizza Hut bread sticks, I enjoyed them. The problem was the pizza. I know by definition that a thin crust pizza is thin, and it was. However it should still have enough tomato sauce on it to be able to taste it. We had an overnight stop Tucumcari and just missed any sit down place being open. Options were slim so we called Pizza Hut and they were able to deliver a pizza to our hotel in about 25 min. In town on business for a week. Tried this Pizza Hut and ordered Pizone and wings. Had to pay extra for the blue cheese and ranch dip; which seems strange when ordering eighteen wings. Maybe that's how it is sold on the menu, but one would think you at least get a single complimentary with the wing order. After returning to the hotel, I realized they weren't even in the bag and had to go back. Found myself wondering why there was no pizza sauce in the supreme pizone since it looks like a Hot Pocket/calzone. I thought it was not very good. This prompted me to check the menu online and see if there was supposed to be pizza sauce... low and behold, it's supposed to come with marinara on the side. So evidently that was missed too.
