I had made an order online to specifically be delivered at 1:45pm. Confirmation was received through email at that time. A notification was sent to me through text saying it was delivered at 11:27am. I spoke to one of the Pizza Hut personnel and she tells me they didn't get that on their end! I told her so how did I get a confirmation on my end for that time frame?? I'm rather disappointed cause I did like Pizza Hut. What a shame, can't depend on an email for confirmation. read more

This was one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a pizza hut. I tried calling numerous times and no answer, tried ordering online, didn't go through. I ended up visiting the store ordered the supreme and a thin crust veggie pizza. I told the cashier no bell peppers on the veggie pizza (someone in our party is has a bell pepper allergy) When the pizza came out it was covered in tons of it, was this a joke? Make sure you check your order before leaving the store! I also noticed a ton of delivery drivers chillin. Since I had to wait 15 mins longer, I thought it was nice of me to let them know that their phone system and website was down, probably why they were all chillin on a Saturday night. I overheard the drivers call a local office that deals with a few stores in the area and they were of no help at all! We order from the app and make sure to get a store deal, typically carry out. Their pizzas are standard quality Pizza Hut and we haven't ever had a problem with a wrong order. I do dislike paying $.99 cents for ranch, but if that is all I complain about, I guess it is ok! They moved to a location close to the Bank of Hawai'i rather than right on Farrington Highway. Bonus is that they do have curbside pick up for those who don't want to go inside. read more

Yay! Delivery is back at Makaha Valley Road. Ordered the two medium two topping pizza along with five bread sticks and a two liter Pepsi. The employee at the call center was friendly when she answered the phone and took my order of two hand tossed pizzas. My first medium pizza is the Italian sausage and olives. The second medium pizza is the pepperoni and mushrooms. Pizzas are $7.99 each. Add on deal of the five bread sticks and 2 liter Pepsi for $6.00 more. My total came out to $27.99. I wonder how much was the delivery charge? The wait was 45 minutes. Lehua was the delivery driver for my pizzas. She stopped in front of the gate at first then drove off to the neighbor's house next door. I had to step out of my gate and wave my hands so she can make a u-turn and come back to the right address. After I paid for the delivery and chatting with Lehua...I took my items into the house and started to have early dinner. I lifted the cover of each pizza box, took a slice from each box, and placed them on my plate. I noticed that the pizza crust on both pizzas looked thin. I could have sworn I asked for hand tossed. I tasted each slice of pizza and was satisfied that the crust was cooked properly. I managed to eat half of the medium pepperoni pizza with mushroom and half of the medium Italian sausage with olives. I also managed to eat two of the breadsticks. I must have been really hungry in order to finish up an entire medium pizza. I'm just glad that Pizza Hut resumed their delivery services to the homes on the road I live on. It sucked when they didn't offer the delivery service to the homes yet the drivers would always pass my home in order to deliver to the secured apartments up the road. Update 12/100 read more

I ordered for delivery to LEAVE AT MY DOOR STEP (since it is an option when ordering along with CONTACTLESS DELIVERY) since I was out running errands. I missed the delivery persons call because I don't answer my phone while driving. Called the person back to have my order brought back. I understand their agitation and know they have other orders to attend. However, I didn't need the sassing tone or the bothersome attitude from this person to do their job. And on top of that, the sad attempt to burn rubber and speed off my road speaks volumes on them as a person and their childish character. I ordered this on the app for contactless pick up I arrived when I was supposed to it said it was ready I waited five minutes after pushing that I'm here and got the phone and told him what where I was parked exactly she said OK. Then I still waited for another 15 minutes I saw every single customer leave they got there after me but walked in get their pizza so finally I walk in and it's done and it's just in the heater still. Ordered curbside pickup which in itself is a joke. Order placed at 1:19p got to store at 1:30p because said only about 10min. Got my order at 145p. Maybe one leaf of spinach per slice I enough for some but when there's only 3 leaves on a personal pan pizza, come on! Really?! Garlic knots, nice and hot but HARD AS HECK!! To cap it off they had the wrong name down, they used the daughter of the person who had ordered's name for some reason when she had nothing to do with this interaction. We touched base with the neighbors to complain to them and turns out the same thing happened to them a few days ago, they never GOT their pizza. We ended up canceling our order, so now everyone is going to bed on nothing but chips and toast. I remember when they still had the buffet. That was the place to be on a Friday afternoon if you wanted to get your pizza grub on. Aaah, sweet memories. Get past the fact that this Pizza Hut is directly across from the sewage treatment plant and it's a-ok, just don't eat outside! The food from this place hasn't been any worse or any better than any other Pizza Hut I've ever been to, or picked up pizza from. However, eating in was pretty lackluster. Sticky tables, poor lighting, not enough staff and music that was too loud inside. It's kind of like a speakeasy but with pizza. So this Waianae Pizza Hut has undergone some major changes since back in the day. I recently ate here INSIDE for once--and it's been at least 15 years since that has last happened! So here's my latest Dine-In Experience: Now, I used to come here with my parents when I was little and there used to be a salad bar and a pizza bar with just pizza slices. That was honestly the best thing. I'm sad that it's gone now. My girlfriend Trisann and I came here a few weeks ago because she was working down my side for once. We ended up creating our own pizza and I think it was chicken with spinach and other veggies. We put our order in and in a little while the waitress came back and said they forgot to put the spinach on so she threw some in halfway through the baking process, which was totally fine. I'm super glad she did that and let us know rather than it coming to the table and it being completely spinach-less. It's really awesome that she caught the mistake before the pizza even came out. Thank you for that. Our waitress was really on it that night... like... I think she's the nicest and most bubbly waitress in all of the Waianae coast. Young girl, cheery attitude and always smiling. She doesn't actually look like she's from around here but I don't want to judge because a lot of different kinds of people live in Waianae. Delivery Experience: Gosh. This fall semester, I have ordered from this Pizza Hut at least once a month... and well... twice in one of those months. I got the same delivery driver for the two or three orders I made within days of each other (my latest orders), and he was very professional and nice. I was glad to see that our Wai'anae staff is mature and friendly like that. As for the food, my pasta and wings have been on-point every time I've ever ordered. Nothing's been wrong so far, my breadsticks are always fresh and when I do order pizza it's still pretty hot. All my orders have come in about 40 minutes. I don't know why others have had such a horrible time but just know it isn't always like that. For me, four stars because of the awesome service I received at dinner and the cool driver that always delivers my stuff, as well as the food being pretty much always up to Pizza Hut standards. The only reason I didn't give 5-stars is because food service was a little slow in my dine-in experience, though my girlfriend and I were totally fine with it. I don't know what happened at this location. i used to love their services but now a days it's been taking 30 minutes to order, receive our order etc... there was no one in the dine in and it took so long. our waitress looked bored and tired, lol what an experience. this location is just too focused on the phone orders and take outs they put the customers that come in to dine on the back burner. i wasn't properly greeted or anything like wow ok. as a customer, its just nice to feel acknowledged and welcomed. i'm going to stick to the kapolei location pizza hut because that location never disappoints. read more

DELIVERY: So... Apparently they don't deliver to public parks (even if you gave the address of the house located across). Ordered online using the park address, I got a call (which my husband answered) 20 minutes AFTER the expected delivery time to ask our location. Now my husband isn't the best at relaying messages but yet, you'd think because it was a large order that they'd ask to speak to the person who's name was on the order. They didn't! Got another phone call 5 minutes after that to inform us they do not deliver to community parks (that park to be specific) due to safety concerns?! OKKKK then put a policy in place. If you dine in, don't expect to get your food or eat for like 1hr - 1hr 1/2 smh at the most 2! Bad service. Walk in expecting to be greeted.... Even if someone is in front you need to flag their attention to be seated. Super slow service even on a super slow day. Cups for drinks took about 5-8 minutes to get to our table once we sat. Plates and utensils were not dried or wiped properly. Food just takes forever to get to our table.... I suggest ordering ahead of time or maybe just delivery or carry out. Three star rating from me because the food is usually good except for the one time they over baked my thin-crust pizza and it was hard as a board and just as tasteless. Otherwise we love the pizzas, pastas and wings. If I based my rating solely on customer service, there'd be two categories: take-out counter and dine-in service. Take out: i'd rate a 4. Always had a pleasant experience just stopping in to pick up my order and go. Dine-in, on the other hand, would be a 1. Yes, the difference is night and day I know. But after experiencing consistently bad dine-in service here the last several times, i'm convinced that it won't be any better the next time (if there is a next time). The tables weren't cleaned well and I had to wipe off the stickiness with a wet one. There were dead flies on the seat and windowsill, service was slow and servers were just inattentive. The workers are extremely playful and loud and unprofessional. A group of them were sitting on one of the tables and were talking story, laughing loudly, even dancing and swearing like they were hanging out in a bar. Someone was singing obscenely loud from the kitchen and the group would just laugh and laugh not even interested in tending to those of us dining. The constant swearing really boiled my bones though because other than my 2 children, there were other young kids in there. Bottom line is that it is unacceptable. They need training workshops on professionalism and customer service. It's sad to see this kind of conduct from a big-name franchise. I hope management reads these and takes action. I asked her if I can order the dinner box for my family. My husband's leg was bruised and I was pregnant at the time so we couldn't really go anywhere. Whoever I spoke to at the call center must have been upset about something. Because when we asked questions about the food like " what's in the dinner box, how much would it be for extra sauce?" etc. Its like every question I asked was a problem. After I completed my order she told me my bill was $40 something. And that it would be an hour wait due to short staff. My ETA was 12:15pm. They didnt arrive to my house until 1:57pm. Me and my husband was so frustrated by the time we called back to just cancel it already they showed up. And when I say the pizza was dry and everything was a mess it was!!! The dinner box comes with 2 choices of pizza. I had pepperoni and cheese. Plus wings and pasta of your choice. And this comes with breadsticks. I paid for the order and they left. I went to go look at it because we were starving sure enough the order is incomplete I was missing the pasta, breadsticks and the extra sauce that they have charged me for. I called back to tell them the order was incomplete and they told me that I'd need to reorder it I asked if I had to pay for it again and sure enough they told me yeah. I order pizza from the Waianae Pizza Hut about every two or three months and have only gotten bad pizza maybe once. I live in Maili and my pizza usually comes warm. Talk about HORRIBLE customer service! My parents, my daughter, and I came in for dinner one night and it was pretty empty. Maybe two other tables occupied. We waited in the front for about 5 mins until someone finally acknowledged us and sat us down. She didn't offer us a high chair so I had to find it myself. The table next to us had dirty dishes on it like the family had left not too long ago. But really who knows how long that party left because it just sat there the whole time we were there too. I'm sure their boss wasn't working that night or something because everyone was walking around and yelling doing their own thing. We looked at our menus and decided what to get on less than 10 minutes. But we waited about 25 minutes for our waitress to finally take our order. As we waited, we could hear everyone in the kitchen screaming and laughing and swearing like they were at a party. I could easily tell that there was no supervisor or manager on duty. If there was, they seriously are not doing their job! Playing around and acting very unprofessional when there are dirty dishes and tables in the dining room. After about 45 minutes we got our food. The meal was good, but we were all already irritated with the employees. Our waitress ignored us after serving our food, and that dirty table still sat there uncleaned while everyone was in the back playing around and making noise. No tip. Less than impressed. If I could give 0 stars I would. I have been ordering delivery from this store for 4 years now and today when I called for an order, I was informed they no longer will deliver to my address. Yet they are the only Pizza Hut on the Waianae coast! WTF!?! Then I was asked if I wanted to order for pick up. Uh, no. Why would I give you my money when you won't even deliver it? They were the ONLY place that delivered on the Waianae coast. Sorry Pizza Hut, but you lost a valued client. I ordered from you regularly. The best part about ordering pizza is that it's delivered. If I wanted to leave my house to get food, I certainly wouldn't be ordering pizza! 2/25/18: since posting my review, I recently saw a PH deliver gal at my complex and asked her if they started delivering again. She said they never stopped delivering here and that the call center was misinformed and had upset a lot of Makaha customers. I wasn't the only one to complain. The call center has since fixed that. I had placed a order at Pizza Hut last night and they said it would take forty minutes and forty minutes went by so I called again and was told that my delivery was in route. By the time the delivery came to was an hour in a half. I went to go get the pizza I told the driver that I know the pizza is free because it took so long. The driver called the store and the manager was talking about that I can get five dollars off. I looked and said no that's not good enough so I got on the phone and talked to the manager and she was talking the same shit so I said no. So the driver left then I get a phone from the manager saying that it would be free and that the driver is turning around to deliver the pizza and I got the pizza for free.
