Never microwaved, because that would have a tragic impact on the texture of the beef. It's served with your choice of softly sautéed sweet green peppers, or giardiniera spicy pickled vegetables mix. We went with the sweet peppers which really complemented the savory flavors of the beef. And the sandwich has anywhere from a splash of savory au-jus to a full-soak. We got the juice on the side for dipping bite by bite. Rosati's kindly gave us two little cups, enough to make the sandwich fully "wet". We have it that way when we can handle a super-messy sandwich, but today, dipping was the wise move. They have great authentic Chicago-style deep-dish and "tavern-style" thin crust pizza here too.
