7/12/25 - My son and I pre-gamed at a Maryland pizza chain. Yes, I should have learned my lesson about these local chains from my trip to Toronto but as my son likes to say, I failed again. This place was called Ledo Pizza. Don't even waste your time. The outer edge crust is light but almost "crackery". The undercrust is the kind you see that has tiny holes poked in so you know they werent mixing dough in that kitchen. This is nothing more than glorified frozen pizza. The sauce is sweet and a that's a major deal breaker for me. The only redeeming value is the cheese, sausage and pepperoni toppings were above average. I had the good fortune to choose this Ledo's over many others in and around the area. The service was fantastic (worthy of over a 20% tip) and believe when i say ive been to many,many Ledo's as it's my favorite Pizza and my pie was cooked to PERFECTION ! What can I say? Original restaurant on University Blvd fan. They taste about the same. Fantastic!!! I've slowed down a tad. When I lived near their Rockville location, I visited often. My favorite pizza was their White Pizza with precooked bacon and red onions (Don't knock it 'til you've tried it!). Although the Rockville manager could sometimes be described as a bit surly (now under new management!) I didn't mind, because their pizza was so awesome! Today, we tried Ledo's out in Frederick. The young man who took my phone order was professional, polite, and efficient. Upon my arrival, I was greeted warmly by two young men, who again, were polite and efficient during my transaction. The establishment is very clean, functional, and welcoming. This time, we ordered the Mike's Hot Honey Pepperoni Pizza, and the Ledos Deluxe Pizza. For the pepperoni, I asked for light sauce, and it was perfect! The hot honey was the pièce de résistance! The spicy sweet combination made this pizza heavenly. The Ledo Deluxe Pizza was also delicious, and was covered with just about everything you could ask for on a pizza. And just like any of their other pizza's with bacon, be prepared to get a lot of it! This is my second time ordering from this restaurant, and I'm so delighted with the food! I will say the first time I'd ordered I wasn't really a fan of the pepperoni pizza. Although it is tasty, I just think that the sauce is a bit too sweet for my taste. However, I've wanted to try the Cannonball Pizza because, it looked delicious and amazing! Now, I think I've found my favorite pizza that compliments the sauce for me. So good! I love fresh basil and this pizza hits the spot! I would definitely order it again! The wings are on point as well! I cannot stand spending a lot of money for wings and they're skimpy wings! Not here when it said, "jumbo wings" it really was "jumbo wings". The only thing I order is the Ledo's deluxe, with pre-cooked bacon. It's a heart attack in a box but it's fucking amazing. I love the flaky, slightly sweet crust. Almost $30 for a large so I usually save this for a treat when my mom's in town since she loves it too. Service is usually friendly, especially considering it's mostly teenagers. I took a star off because the website is garbage and it's impossible to order online. Haven't had any trouble getting through via phone. read more

We have gone to this place on and off over the past couple of years, and never had a problem. About a month ago we went in for dinner and were seated way in the back of the restaurant. We barely saw the waitress all night. They only had about three other families in the whole place, so I know she wasn't overworked. Today, my family ordered takeout lunch and got over $50 worth of food. When we got at home, we noticed they had not put any dressing in with my salad. So, I had to drive all the way back down to the restaurant. When I walked inside, the same waitress was working the counter for take out. I explained the situation to her and she got me ONE dressing. I asked if I could get another. She said, "Just so you know, next time you will probably get charged (for the extra dressing), but I will give you this one." I told her in light of the fact that I had to burn my gas to get back down there to make it right, she probably should have given it to me and not said a word. This is just POOR customer service. And that's on top of the abysmal job she did waiting our table when we ate in there. I don't know if it's just her or the entire place, but they really need to get their act together. There are so many choices when it comes to pizza that it can leave your mind spinning. But my mother in law is such a big fan we always go here when she is in town. Of course the kids could care less because any pizza will do but I wont just eat anything. For me the big peperoni is the key to make all the other ingredients work like a charm. Toppings sparse and hardly ANY pizza sauce. Talk to management and tried this place several times, always the same. Ledo sauce is what makes the pizza. Drive an extra few minutes to Urbana and go to that Ledo's they make the pizza right and you'll see a great improvement in quality. read more

I accidentally made an online order for this place instead of my local Ledo's... I called to tell them and ask if I could cancel the order. The girl was extremely RUDE and basically told me to go pound sand. She said it was my problem, not theirs. So I got charged for a salad that was made 2 hrs away from where I live with no chance of correcting the mistake. Hope you're happy with your decision to be rude about an $8 salad... I am kind of confused about their pizza. My mom tried it first and said it was really good. Once the weekend came around we decided to pick up a pizza and a few salads. The pizza looked tasty enough but the crust was so weird. It was exactly like pie crust; somehow soft but flakey at the same time. I'm not sure how else to describe it. The sauce was too sweet too which completed the dessert pie theme. Mom commented that the pizza tasted different all together this time around. I have always enjoy this expensive pizza but have to say they really drop the ball for me this time. I had called in a pick up order and realized 15 mins after I called that the person picking up my pizza would not be there for another hour and called them back and asked that they keep my pizza and wings fresh by putting it into the frig. I called them to see if they had put it in the frig and found out they had not done so and then try to stick it in the frig two minutes before they got their to pick it up. They left it on top of the stove so who knows how warm it was kept for that hour and 10 mins? read more

The sauce is too sweet. The mushrooms are canned. Not fresh. Yuck! I give it 2 stars for the square shape. But I'm really disappointed. Expected something fresh and maybe gourmet from the local business. The center of the pizza is soggy and possibly undercooked. And the take out box had paper under the pizza that the 8 center pieces were stuck to and could not remove from the paper causing those pieces to fall apart completely. read more

This is one of the lousier Ledos restaurants that I've been to. The waitress that we had was friendly but couldn't seem to remember what our order was. They sell beer, but the selection was very limited. Also, we ordered a salad to start off with and we weren't give any forks to eat it with.
