Lovely Linda. 2nd time ordered. Wrong both times.

We ordered 2 pizzas. One was burnt and gross. The other was completely wrong. We called and they knowingly said they made the vegan pizza with real cheese and still sent it out. They remade the pizza and the new pizza was ridiculous. A burnt crust with hardly anything on it. This is the second time this has happened here. We are officially 0-2. If you want what you ordered -- I wouldn't go here! This Lovely Linda doesn't look so lovely.

Pizza jerk is sooo good, I also love their ranch. The restaurant is also pretty chill and the people are friendly. Their pizza is now a must have whenever I visit my friend in Portland.

Service was super great. They treated everyone so nicely inside and the vibe was great ! However the pizza was average, IF that. About $4 for 1 slice. the crust was pretty hard. It was a thin slice and not fresh, it was premade and you could tell it's been sitting a while. Would not come here again. But thank you to the workers and staff, you guys were great!!!

Working near by and lucky enough to have a great selection of food. Pizza it is and pizza it was. Lunch special for 9.50 you get two slices and soda. Pretty fair price these days. You may wonder why only 3 stars. Well I think pizza is one of those categories where a three star is pretty damn good. As a matter of fact it's good enough that I returned for a second time and will go back again. Also they have a ranch for .50 that I enjoy. I used to dip everything in ranch lol. Again I don't want the three stars to deter anyone. You absolutely should try it. I enjoyed every bit of it. I had the veggie and meat pizza for my first go around. My second time I had pepperoni. It had the cupped roni and some kinda of Hawaiian type pizza. Both were great. Anyways go check them out.

Ok..... awesome pizza. The crust could be a tad firmer. Excellent sauce though. Explored the back patio which was really nice. Tons of families there. There's a play structure for people to climb on. Bring the dogs and the kids We'll be back for sure.

Pizza Jerk is awesome! Read the great reviews so it went on my list to try. And it did not disappoint. I ordered half It's Always Sunny in Cully (add sausage) and half Clam Jam. The pizza was a little on the expensive side, but it was very large. Large enough for about three meals. I would never had thought to order clams on my pizza, but it was really delicious. You could hardly tell they were even on there. It was just buttery, garlicky goodness. The pizza is a New York style so it had a very thin crust. The crust was a bit floppy, even when folded, but it didn't bother me since it was so ding dang tasty! I would definitely get the clam jam again! The people working there were really welcoming and friendly. And the place gave off a super chill vibe and was really clean.

Not the cleanest place, but definitely has that hole-in-the-wall, I'm about to eat something really good vibe. Super laid back pizza place that will make you think of eating pizza as a kid in the 80s w/ red plastic cups, checkered vinyl tablecloths with rips & before California had so many rules for food establishments. You know...when things were fun! Employees sit on the counter, talk to their friends on the phone & one even rolled in & looked like he was still in pajamas/half asleep‍ But, this place is interesting! Lots of cool, vintage posters to look at while you wait. The Caesar salad is delicious (they have amazing house made dressings), served with a fresh lemon wedge & yummy croutons. We ordered the pizza with pepperoni, pineapple, peppers, basil & honey; ordered the ranch & truffle ranch for dipping. SOOOOO good! I noticed lots of people stopping in w/ kids just for the ice cream, so we got a giant spoonful to sample before heading out. Very creamy & good! We were too full, but would definitely come back & eat ice cream while we wait for our pizza I've been hearing about Pizza Jerk's Rice Krispie treats for years, so that was a must. I love the saltiness & butterscotch chips, but we can do better! It's definitely not chewy with the amount of marshmallow that really takes a Rice Krispie treat to the next level. I'd skip it & head straight for the soft serve.

This place reminds me of Sizzle Pie in a way except the music is way better... The atmosphere is relaxed with helpful staff that will engage with you even when they are busy. The decor is on the funky side. They have a decent selection of beer. In addition, they have thin pizza by the slice which is a huge plus, and they have vegan choices which is another plus... They pizza is not artesian style and tend to be on the thick side, but it is very good. There's a decent size private parking behind the building, so you don't have to waste time looking for a spot.

New York and Chicago are still trying to catch up. But we are in the Pacific Northwest, nowhere near Loui's Pizza or Buddy's Pizza (Detroit pizza staples). So many times, what tries to pass off as "Detroit style" falls miles short. Then came "Ranch" where I stood outside and screwed up enough courage to try yet another Detroit style pizza. The interior was small, one wall lined with tomato sauce cans, the menu was bolted to a wall. The smell took me back and that gave me some hope. The pizza arrived at the table, the wife and I have varied tastes so we each ordered a quarter pizza. Mine was pepperoni, the wife had a veggie. The pizzas looked right, square, caramelized crispy edges, heavy toppings... and then on the side of the plate was this cup of ranch dressing. Duh! "Ranch" obviously has to have a good ranch, right? I dipped my pinky finger in the ranch and took a taste. You would not think one ranch can be so far ahead of the others, but ranch is the place for ranch, as well as pizza. My first bite brought a smile to my face, it was just, right in every way that a Detroit pie should be. I have been back to try their #4 pie with sausage and ricotta, and I am looking forward to more trips. If all that was not enough, the service was friendly, the food came out so quick (about 10 minutes) and the place was nice and clean.

Had pizza from here twice during a long stay in Portland, and enjoyed it both times. The first time, we had a pepperoni pizza, a side of meatballs, and grape sorbetto. We liked the meatballs so much that, the second time, we had the Alley Kat pizza and, again, the grape sorbetto. The pizzas were both excellent--good crust with a great chew, good proportions for the toppings, and a cheese that tasted like cheese. (reductive? Maybe, but so much mozzarella is bland and rubbery that it seems worth mentioning.) The grape sorbetto was an excellent way to finish the meal both times: sweet, but not too sweet, and very bright to cleanse the palate.

Unfortunately, this was both our first and last visit. I don't think I've ever disliked a pizza before, but this may be the first one I would genuinely call bad. I enjoy wood-fired pizza and don't mind a little char, but somehow this pizza tasted noticeably bitter despite having very little visible charring. Whether it was the lack of sauce, the sauce itself being quite bland, or simply an imbalance of flavors, the end result just wasn't pleasant. The biggest issue is the value. A $25 cheese pizza doesn't need to be life-changing, but it should at least taste better than Costco's. In this case, unfortunately, it didn't. If your goal is to enjoy great pizza, I'd recommend one of the many other pizza spots in the area instead.

We have had repeated issues specifically with takeout orders, over many years. Additionally, if you dine-in, there is an entire bottle of oil on the table that you are encouraged to use on your pizza. It is delicious, and really completes the pizza flavor profile! They used to automatically include two small containers of oil per pizza if you ordered to-go. Current policy appears to be to not include any oil with the pizza (unless explicitly asked) and to only provide a maximum of two oils (even if multiple pizzas are ordered). I don't know if there is an oil shortage or what, but this is silly for a place that charges so much for their pizza. Life of Pie is a typical Portland restaurant that expects you to tip before you receive your food (and also expects you to bus your own table). To me, this expectation alongside with the inconsistency of the food for the price, is disappointing, and does not encourage people to go out of their way to return. When the food is good it is a solid place, however I would expect much more consistency for the price they command.
