The pizza here is incredibly delicious! The thin crust is crisp on the bottom but still chewy. The sauce is real pizza sauce not marinara or spaghetti sauce used in substitution. The pizza was a little on the expensive side, but it was very large. Large enough for about three meals. I would never had thought to order clams on my pizza, but it was really delicious. You could hardly tell they were even on there. It was just buttery, garlicky goodness. The pizza is a New York style so it had a very thin crust. The crust was a bit floppy, even when folded, but it didn't bother me since it was so ding dang tasty! I would definitely get the clam jam again! They pizza is not artesian style and tend to be on the thick side, but it is very good. They have street parking outside and only open for "to-go" outdoors right now. No indoor dining! We called them ahead and ordered on the ph. They mentioned the pizza will be ready in 30 mins and we reached in 25 mins and it was already ready :) there is a Safeway grocery store nearby so we did our grocery shopping in those 25 mins. We ordered the "make your own pizza" with red sauce, cheese, pepperoni, mushroom and jalapeno. The pizza was huge and could serve 4-5 ppl in my opinion. This was under $30!! I did find the pepperoni a lil on the salty side. They do give u chilli flakes, hot sauce and parmesan cheese so u can add those to lower the salt on the pepperoni. We saw an article on Tasting Table on the 20 best pizza places in Portland. Pizza Jerk was ranked #16. We tried the clam pizza. For those of you who are fans of Frank Pepe in New Haven, we found this to be a good recreation of their clam pizza. It had a lot of clams and heavy garlic, with a thin crust and a good amount of char. We did find the char to be a little light on the crust. And, like some other reviewers, we found the toppings to be a bit on the salty side and a little oily. The crust was crispy, but the shell near the center of the pizza was a little soggier than we would have preferred. The servers were friendly and our pizza arrived within around 15 minutes from the time we ordered. It was $30 for an 18" thin crust pizza and $9 for a salad. Overall, it was a pretty good pizza. We're looking forward to trying the other pizza establishments on the list. read more

Pizza looked good, but what we came for on a recent sunny afternoon was soft serve ice-cream. Casual pizza joint where you order at the counter and they'll bring your food out to you. Booths and tables inside their greenhouse-like establishment, or plenty of covered outdoor picnic tables out back if you don't mind sharing the space with a sea of roaring children. Maybe there were multiple birthday parties going on, or maybe this is just a popular family spot. I don't have the answer to that. We sat outdoors for a few minutes until we were confident that our ice-creams wouldn't topple, then we took it to the streets. They offer the classics, chocolate and vanilla, but also fun flavors like peach, pumpkin, maple, and birthday cake, among others. I just got grifted with the most mediocre cheese pizza of my life. I ordered an '18" Thin White Pie' that supposedly came with fresh mozzarella, basil, chili flakes, garlic, and ricotta. Instead what I got was some Wish.com version that was missing all of the toppings because there wasn't any basil, chili flakes, garlic, or ricotta to speak of. I'm a native NYer and I don't usually eat pizza outside of my home state for good reasons. This slice was really good and was the most like NY that I could remember since leaving. Thin crust - yes! I've eaten here by-the-slice, in the restaurant pre-Covid, whole pies, and takeout over the years, and while the pined-out interior has an odd bit of nostalgia, the pies are often salty, oily and pretty average. Sure they use the smaller pepperoni rounds that look cute, but also curl up to hold tons of grease. The crust is pretty decent, crispy on the outside with a nice chew in the inside, but often flops out in the center. I do like their sauce, which is nice and tomato-y with just the right texture (not too pasty, not too chunky). The deep-dish is pretty solid if that's your style, but there's better in town. A few of my friends think this is the best 'za around, but I think they've only ever had pizza from a couple spots. PJ is ok but far from the top of my list of any style in PDX. read more

We shared an 18" thin crust that was half White Pie and half It's Always Sunny in Cully. I took off 2 stars because I was not as fond of their pizza. I found the White Pie to be quite salty. The It's Always Sunny in Cully was very oily, but had good flavor. I would try the 12" Thicker Crusted pizza next to around. We also ordered a margarita slushee which was delicious and filled to the brim! It was a very refreshing pairing to our pizza. Pizza Jerk also offers soft serve with fun syrup flavors. We tried the pistachio and pineapple soft served, both were yummy! They have a parking lot that can fit approximately 8 cars in front of the ordering window and street parking. They have an outdoor patio with picnic tables. We were able to find a table immediately after ordering. We were even able to bring our dog along! I would come back to Pizza Jerk, but next time maybe only for a slice and an ice cream cone. read more

Great place for pizza! Great place for lunch! We went here on a team lunch and ordered a few pies. I finally had a chance to try their cast iron pizza, which was fantastic. We also ordered the special - Sausage 2.0 which had Old Salt pepperoni, OP cotto salami, sopresseta, bunk hot peppers, and truffles ricotta. This was a great choice! The other pizza we got was the chicken parmagiana, which was also good. The wait here was not long as you order at the counter and they will bring the food out. The pizza is sooo good but you *Really* gotta like KIDS a whole lot to have a tolerable eating experience on site. Think kids running rampant, screaming and shreaking, blocking the already narrow pathways, sticking their dirty paws on your pizza (wish I was joking), while parents are paying zero attention to their crotch goblins terrorizing other patrons.
