We do not live in Pittsburg but every time we come up from Florida we make it a point to visit here. The food is amazing. Pizzas are cooked to perfection and there are some items on the menu not found anywhere else. You must must try the Veggie Pizza. Outdoor seating only. The food is so good you will have leftovers that your father in law will steal. read more

OKAY PIZZA, POOR QUALITY. Was really disappointed with my recent take out order (through door dash) at Pizza Joes Cranberry. My family ordered a pretty simple order: large pepperoni pizza, dip'n sticks that normally come with red sauce that was omitted, and a house salad. The order was prepared pretty quickly which we appreciated but the quality was not good. The pizza was okay, the dip'n sticks were overcooked and missing the sauce, and the lettuce of the salad was old and browning. Really disappointing way to spend my money on our cozy winter day in. I will add that while we live in Cranberry, we love the Pizza Joes in Beaver Falls! Their quality and service are great and we normally frequent this location because my husband is from that area and pick up when we visit his family. read more

My husband and I enjoy getting Pizza Joe's as it reminds us of our time in college. My favorite pizza is the BBQ Chicken pizza and it has never disappointed! We also got a pepperoni roll which was not quite as good as I remember but still pretty satisfying. I know we will be back in the near future for more pizza! My wife and I are self-proclaimed Pizza Snobs. If you follow my reviews you'll see a trend there. It took us up until now to try this chain and I wish we would have skipped it entirely. First, they confused my round pie order for a square. But I was fine with that. We ordered a round with extra cheese, extra sauce, and half sausage/half pepperoni. The pepperoni was wafer thin and the sausage was dry and almost crunchy. Both were nearly tasteless being overwhelmed with the highly acidic sauce. I said they gave us a square instead of a round but my initial disappointment quickly left because the thicker crust on the pizza gave some much needed relief from the bitter tang of the sauce. Why would anyone order from here when there are much better options just down the road. read more

I first started going to Pizza Joe's when I was a student at Westminster College. It was THE pizza place in town and anytime you had an event with pizza it was ordered from there. Since graduating from college, myself and my mother are really happy to see a Pizza Joe's open up closer to the Wexford area. This place sits right outside of the Graham Park area and is easy to get to from route 19. To this day they have by far my favorite ranch dressing on pizza. This includes the buffalo chicken and vegetable specialty pizzas. I have recently tried their wedges and sandwiches both of which are fantastic! I highly recommend the hot gondola wedge/sandwich. They have daily specials as well so be sure to check those out! Really great place to get lunch/pizza and it brings back some great college memories! When my mother is around we always get the buffalo chicken pizza. Just a really solid pizza place and decent prices too. I hope they do well in Cranberry and are here to stay! read more

After three separate attempts, I'm giving up on pizza joes. Really sad about it too. Each time my order was wrong, cold, expensive and disappointing. This family owned and operated business should be very worried, especially since there are now, more than ever, multiple better pizza establishments to pick from that are right on, every time. read more

Pepperoni rolls are delicious! Especially with the dipping sauce. The pizza is average. I didn't like the boneless wings at all. They were kind of fatty tasting... didn't exactly taste like real chicken. The hot gondola sandwich was right up there with the pepperoni rolls. I'd recommend getting that! The chicken was okay.. wouldn't exactly get it again. It tasted like a premade salad that you'd get from the grocery store, and I wasn't a fan of the chicken. Overall it was decent. I went to pick up my grilled chicken salad and was early enough to stand there as the employee prepared it. With his bare hands!!!! I was in disbelief as he reached into the container for lettuce, put it in the bowl, wiped his hands on his shorts and then took the next topping with his bare hands, put it in the bowl and wiped his hands on his shorts. this process repeated until the salad was made. Then the chicken and french fries came out of the oven and he used his finger to sweep them into the bowl. I truly could not believe my eyes. When he brought the salad over cheerfully I asked if they don't wear gloves at the store. He told me it's not a rule that they would use gloves. Everything was ready in twenty (20) minutes, but they put too much ricotta in the cal-zone, which ruined it for me. Ive been eating at Pizza Joe's since the early 90s and I've also worked at a Pizza Joe's when I was a teenager. This Joe's is 100 % the worst! They sent me a Pizza that was completely raw. I called them and they said that they would bring me another. When they dropped it off at my work I went to eat it again and the second pizza was raw! I called back and the kid that answered the phone said that they would give me a refund. 5 minutes later the owner of this franchise called me and refused to give me a 13 dollar refund. I told him that I order from Pizza Joe's about 6 to 7 times a month and that if he didn't refund the money that he would lose a valued and loyal customer. Steve, the owner, said "oh well"! I called corporate and Katie said that that sounds about on par and offered me my money back out of her own pocket! I will still eat Pizza Joe's but never again will I order from Steve's franchise due to the lack of good customer service. read more

Ordered delivery here today; two 10" pizzas, a sub, and a wedge. Came to $41 which was acceptable since it included delivery. Food came a little past the estimated time, but it was hot when it got here. The cashier over the phone clearly didn't know the menu when we had questions about the products. He also mumbled, and our delivery driver really wasn't friendly. The Philly Steak pizza is ok, basically a cheese pizza with a tiny portion of steak and about 1/8 bell pepper on the whole thing. The meatball hoagie tasted really bitter, and had only four meatballs on it and so much sauce you couldn't hold it. Otherwise, no major complaints. Which was fine, but I had asked over the phone what their prices were, after picking it up we received a flyer stating that the special for July a was 6 piece specialty pizza for $7! After traveling through pouring rain, we arrived to be very dissapointed with our lack luster experience at pizza Joe's. We entered pizza Joe's soaked, With a thirst so great it needed a nice cold drink, but it took over a whole minute to be acknowledged by the employee who seemed like he'd rather be anywhere other then work. My friend finally placed her order for a small pizza and two rootbeers. Before I could even speak to order, the dull employee walked away. I standed at the counter and waited a whole 5 minutes and even tried to get his attention by saying excuse me. After another 15 minutes he comes out with our pizza and I try to order. Before I even get the chance to speak the useless employee has the audacity to say to me "I wish you would have just told me your order earlier" in that moment I was completely speechless. After waiting for nearly 20 minutes to order and after being ignored when I tried to get his attention this was the response I got. I angrily placed the order for a gyro and diet Pepsi and was forced to wait another 15 minutes for my food. I left with a mediocre gyro and a feeling of unsatisfaction.
