The small size of the place is evident here along with the parking lot.

They have a unique style of pizza which is quite good. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place is very small, but they have a couple of stools at the counter and some small round tables, but is a little cramped.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Of course there is the requisite Sopranos memorabilia on the wall.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The parking lot is shared with a neighboring business, so sometimes there are no spaces, but there is street parking. It is also a bit hard to get out of sometimes. They do have some pie and slice specials, but it is always good to ask what they have going on currently.

Come for the Sopranos vibes, stay for the two slice and a soda special ($5). Just don't look too hard when everything comes out of a broken down freezer and into the fryer/microwave. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's the posters and memorabilia on the wall that brings you here, not the food.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] That being said the pizza wasn't half bad!

    Filthy oven

Please please please do not go here. The pizza is pure grease and [[HIGHLIGHT]]the place is disgustingly dirty.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]If you don't believe me look at the oven which has not been cleaned in decades.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Slice of meatball was delicious. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Enjoyed watching then make pies as I waited.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They use deep dish style trays almost Egyptian like.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Hospitality was on point. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambiance is super charming and 1960s old school awesome.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Recommend.

Tony Soprano once remarked, "Well, when you're married, you'll understand the importance of fresh produce." So, in my opinion, the folks at Pizza Land are probably single. Don't get me wrong, the pizza is fine; but it's not great. Still... "a wrong decision is better than indecision", as Junior misquoted Cicero... so, if you're in northern Jersey and no one offered you Whitman's Sampler (Oh poor you!)... then swing by Pizza Land for the Nostalgia of watching the Sopranos. And while you're there, eating a greasy slice and definitely not using the broom-closet-bathroom, remind your son to buy land, 'cause God ain't making any more of it and that they're only as good as their last envelope. Stammi bene!

If you've ever watched Sopranos you know what pizza land is- I recently watched the entire series and I looked up all the places. Pizza land it's the next town over. I was craving a calzone so we decided to order pick up I got a pepperoni and cheese calzone and my husband got the meat Stromboli The only complaint I had was he missed adding the pepperoni, to my calzone- however, just the cheese was delicious - the meat Stromboli was extremely delicious.

Pizzaland has upheld its thin crust tradition in yet another visit to this place. This time I added an eggplant parm hero to the mix as well. We got the Buffalo Chicken pizza as usual and the Quattro Formaggio pie. I was a little nervous that the 4 cheese pie came with American cheese..... but it worked.... I'm telling ya.... These thin crust pies hit the spot. A tad on the pricey side but very good. The Buffalo Chicken pie was not too spicy and the 4 cheese had the right kick with the zing of for different cheese hitting you at once. Eggplant parm hero was above average. Better than a lot of pizza places. Sauce and cheese was excellent. The downfall was the the eggplant was a little too chewy. On this rare occasion, we did delivery because I was just exhausted and it took a little over an hour. Everything was hot and fresh, so no complaints. Just be prepared for a good wait if you're offering delivery.

A great gem off of Route 7 in North Arlington. I highly recommend if you happen to be in North Arlington, cash only and strictly for pick up, parking is a bit hard but there's a lot right next to it where you can pull in and go and pick up. A large pie will cost you around $13 and they also sell personal bar pies, if you're into thin crust and bar pies this is your spot, would give this place a 8.3.

Don't order a tuna fish salad wrap because you'll get a can of tuna inside a wrap. They do not know how to make tuna fish salad

To start: there's a small parking lot in the back but otherwise appears to be street parking. Both of our cars found spots in the lot since we got there a touch before 5pm. When we got in there, there was only 1 table of two people occupied but we were asked if we had a reservation which we didn't have. Admittedly, it was a bit of a last minute decision to go out so it completely slipped my mind to look to see if I would be able to reserve something but it was before 5pm so I'm surprised we were met with such resistance. Luckily, they were able to take us with warning we would need to be out by 6:45. For reference we left at 6 since we only got entrees. The place itself is somewhat small and has a little covered patio which saw had some tables. It's no frills and the menu wasn't all that extensive. I swear there is more of a menu on their Slice app for takeout ordering. Bread was placed on the table as well as a water pitcher. To be honest, I didn't think the bread had much flavor and my husband and parents agreed. We were pretty hungry so we did finish it (even when bread isn't great, it's still good in my book) but we weren't offered any more than the first basket. All of our entrees came with salad which were typical pizzeria salads-not bad, not amazing. My mom and I both ordered the Chicken Avellino (chicken breast sautéed with chopped red onion, red peppers, sliced hot cherry peppers, shitake mushrooms in a white wine sauce with a touch of plum tomatoes) which came with roasted potatoes. I'm not the biggest fan of spicy but I thought I could just take off the sliced hot cherry peppers and be okay. Wow was I wrong because the entire dish had a kick to it. Even my mom who gravitates towards spicy food admitted it was hot. That said, the quality of the chicken was phenomenal. It was thin sliced and very good. My husband very much enjoyed his Scaloppini Marsala and my dad liked the Pollo Francese but did wish the sauce was a touch thicker. I will say I think the quality of the food served is very good but the portions are not plentiful. I'm guilty of always taking home and making another meal or two out of what I get out somewhere but all 4 of us cleared our plates. At a $30 price point I just wish there were larger portions.

We started off with the fried calamari, caprese, burrata and the brushetta. The caprese was refreshing. Mozzarella and tomatoes were fresh. Roasted peppers on top were the perfect size. The calamari was a little chewy to me, the burrata could've been creamier and the variation of the brushetta wasn't my style. I like mine with just tomatoes, garlic, and basil. There was just a little unnecessary extra to it. For dinner, I got the chicken parm. It was EXCELLENT. Didn't even need a knife. You could cut it with your fork. Sauce was very good and the cheese was excellent quality. For dessert, I went with the ricotta cheesecake. Desserts were homemade. Cheesecake was creamy with ricotta mixed into the cake. Appetizers fell short in my opinion, but the main course and dessert brought the meal back strong.
