Traffic can be a bit much if you try accessing it through Main Street - so do yourself a favor and figure out your way around Main Street to get here. There is only street parking. When I got there, my mom needed to use the restroom but it was "out of order". We sat near the front of the restaurant and ordered two knishes - beef hand pies, and my mom got a slice of thin crust pizza that was topped with ham, sausage & pepperoni. She dug it. I had a slice of their Special of the Day - it was a deep dish pizzas which tasted like it had meatballs on it. It was DELICIOUS!! It's gotta be the sauce cause I swear it brought me back 45 years!!! Well I've been going here for years and at one point I hadn't patronized the biz in years. But let me tell you when I walked in they remembered me replying "Hey where you been, long time no see". My high school friends and I would visit here after school at least twice a week(way back in the day) or sometimes we would simply walk downtown just to have a slice of pizza. Now don't even pay attention to the locals standing in front trying to sell you something; ignore them and go get your slice of pizza or grilled chicken Caesar salad or your hot dog all the way or meatball sub or whatever it is you would like off the menu. The slices are always fresh and hot and don't you dare complain lol. Do I ever complain? Yes but with a smile.... It's always busy during lunch time so be patient but the workers are pretty fast so don't worry; you can get in and out. Cash only$$$$ When I was pregnant, I would always order a salad with provolone cheese nothing special but there was this young man who made it with love. He ended up leaving and I was distraught. The manager said "Don't worry we will make it how you want it, relax". Of course, they made it just how I liked it; who could ignore my pouty face/big belly. Shit if you live in the paterson area chances are you worship this fuckin pizza place like the church of cheese and crust, I myself subscribed to that for most of my childhood, teens, and some of my adult life having not had it in quite a while I decided to re up... I wasn't completely let down let me start off by saying that BUT I did lose a little faith in the divinity so to speak now again if you are familiar with paterson you know this place is right on the corner of the weirdest intersection imaginable I think its like a 5 or 6 way but its not really accessible to by car because there is zero parking 3000 cars at all times and they for whatever reason don't deliver...now I know I sound like a bitch right now but bare with me I'm trying to get pizza out of a packed place back to my car out of traffic and all the way home with the pizza remaining somewhat warm that being said it didn't happen and the pizza did NOT age well the crust got stale but weirdly soggy on top and the sauce only existed around the edge where the crust and cheese met the flavor was absolutely there but this was not the glorious pizza of my youth...on top of that again sounding like a bitch the people there almost seemed bothered by having to do work...now I can deal with rude if you have some good shit to offer BUT this aint it ill be trying again because I want to have my faith renewed in something I cherished so much but until then 3/5 at best read more

The staff here is consistent and even though there are several other pizzerias within a few steps it's always a no brainier that this is the place to be. A previous review mentioned parking is bad. Agreed it's in the middle of downtown cornering two main streets. I suggest calling in your order so you can run in or come via foot so u can have a seat. This was my first time at Broadwaay Pizza. It was a very busy moment at 12:45pm on a Tuesday afternoon. I ordered two slices of specialty pies. I didn't even ask what they were and that's how I like it. The larger than normal slices provided more than enough for me at lunch. I enjoyed my meal while listening to R&B music. I have been to a lot of places in the world and their pizza is still one of my top favs. The chicken sandwich on a sub is huge and tasty (also get this "all the way"). Steak fries are always done perfectly and if you get the beef patty, ask them to put in the hot sauce! Their hot dogs are pretty good as well. Anytime the office here wants pizza, we order from broad pizzeria. It's very tasty and definitely worth the money. The only downside is that the slices are VERY greasy. I always try to dry up some of the grease with a napkin before eating it. I can't talk much about the other types of food because I never tried it. read more

Love the pizza although it is a bit greasy you'll turn to a pizza blotter. This place is ALWAYS packed and I mean why would it not be. When your walk past there is that delicious pizza smell that you just cannot resist. I did here some stories of there being roaches the size of a thumb baked in the pizza or sometime crawling on tables, floors, etc. but I never really seen them. All the time you will find people outside selling boot-legged movies LOL.
