They say that thier closed at7 I called at525 to order and no one answered an I know they can get ba up so I called again at 530 still no answer so I drove up there and walked in with the open sign on at 6 said they were open till 7 and when I walked in to place a order the lady started to yell at me that they will not take my order because she was tired and is going home and I ask what time do you stop talking orders and she told me 630 and said you know it's only 6 and then she lost her shit on me so unprofessional for a local business read more

Great tasting pizza and service was also great. Love the atmosphere of this place old candy and signage is cool.

Another stop on our summer pizza tour, stop #9. This time around we invited my wife to tag along. We ordered a large cheese and pepperoni pizza. If you haven't been to Imlay City it is a quaint town that has numerous shops in the downtown area, Pizza Machine is one of those shops. The store was super cool inside. One cool thing is watching them toss the dough for our pizza. Pizza turned out pretty good. The one negative was that the sauce didn't have to much of a taste. That might have been the batch for the day. If you stop in get one of their desserts, made daily each day. Good desserts. read more

The pizza is very good, but the desserts are the shinning star of this pizzeria! You can also pick up your favorite drink including beer.

Hands down the best grinders I've ever had (and I've eaten a LOT of grinders). Their Ham & Swiss and Italian Combo grinders are not only huge, but they know exactly how to prepare their bread and bake them just right. The pizza is a definite favorite too, especially if you like lots of cheese and heavy toppings. There are numerous pizzeria's much closer to my home, but I drive the 10 miles to get grinders & pizza from this place because I fear my stomach might revolt if I fed it anything less. read more

I'll be honest.. it's probably been well over 15 yrs or longer since I had Pizza Machine. And thanks to horrible pizza & service from places like Jets, Hungry Howie's, & Buccillis. I figured why not try a different place. So I ordered a normal pizza. If they can get cheese & pepperoni right, then I'll try other items later. So they have a big pizza oven, & they made sure that the bottom of the pizza was done. That's a big deal in my book. The staff was kind & helpful. Seems to be a family business. I like the sauce, loved the cheese, & the crust. I gave it five stars because, I watched the guy make it, & I liked how he paid attention to the pizza when it was in the oven. Was it greasy? Yes, I'm not gonna lie. But, it wasn't anything crazy. Tell me a place that doesn't have greasy pizza. So I will definitely go back. I'd rather give my money to a family own, mom & pop business. read more

This place is good but it was better a few years ago than it is now. Overall the food is not bad but not my personal favorite.

Eh, I find the last few years the place has been kinda hit and miss. Sometimes their pizza is great, some of the best i ever experienced. Other times it's a burnt, soaked in grease slopball in a box. Other stuff there is pretty good. the breadsticks are ok, just make sure you ask for fresh or you might get the "french" breadsticks (so hard you could break a tooth). Never been disappointed by the bone chicken, it's always great. the chicken nuggets are frozen, sometimes they come rubbery like when they thaw and refreeze before cooking. Everything is pretty good when you catch the right days, i've tried pretty much everything at least once. but the place is just too much of a gamble to warrant me sinking money into it on a normal basis. read more

The first impression is the entrance door - filthy; cash register - filthy. It makes me wonder... if the visible places are filthy, how filthy are the areas that are not visible to customers? I've seen employees with dirty clothes and I've seen them go back to pizza making after handling cash. Yes, it's an old building - I appreciate old buildings. Old should not be an excuse for dirty. Regarding their pizza, it's really good and I do eat it. However, I just pray that I don't get sick. read more

This is hands down the best pizza place I have ever been to. I grew up in this town and there are lots of pizza options. But the pizza that Frank and Frank jr. Pump out of here is amazing. Don't hesitate this is the place to get good pie. read more

We are new in the area but diffidently know what good pizza should be. We normally order from Jets as they deliver and have pretty good pizza, but decided to try this place even though they don't deliver. A young man took my order seemed pleasant but seems not to be able to think on his own, we ordered the Garlic Butter crust round pizza. When I asked for the pizza to be cut in squares you would have thought I had asked for Gold, the young man couldn't give me a good reason why it couldn't be cut in squares, told me if I wanted squares to order the square pizza, if I wanted the "Square" thicker crust, and different taste I would have ordered it. I had to order it uncut. When I picked up the pizza a young man checked me out I asked if they were sure to give me the Garlic Butter Crust and his reply was "I guess so".....I also ordered a piece of the Pineapple Carrot Cake. My review is this...I gave two stars as the Pizza isn't "Bad" BUT not the best in town, the staff here aren't very friendly and they have mostly Kid's working that don't know how to provide customer service, the cake is just "OK" not worth the $4.00 I would recommend Roma Village they have a much better pizza and the staff is very nice. This place has really lowered their standards, I used to order grinders and pizza from here all the time, just ordered a grinder today for the first time in a while and all it mainly consisted of was bread, and it was just flat bread, not the good baked bread they had before. My fiancé ordered their Stromboli and literally choked on the amount of cheese they filled it with and it was cold inside. Needless to say I was disappointed and no longer will be ordering from here. read more

The Detroit Parrothead Club had their Beach Party at the Eagles on 3/6 and 3/7. Everyone was from out of town and enjoyed Imlay City. During our Friday evening event we ordered 14 Large pizza's from The Pizza Machine. The service and food was excellent. I highly recommend this family owned local business! read more

Pizza is usually pretty good especially the Chicago pizza, and I really like their grinders. The reason for the three stars is because the service is not very friendly, I always feel like the employees are annoyed. Also they aren't open on Sunday's, you would think that most pizza places make their money on the weekends but I guess they don't need the business. read more

Last week we ordered pizza from the Pizza Machine, like we have many times before. We have always been satisfied with their pizza and service. But not this time. We ordered a pizza with ham bacon and peperoni,, picked up the pizza, and when we got home it was some weird pizza with pineapple and feta cheese,,, clearly not our order. Irritated,,, we called, and sure enough, our pizza was sitting on the counter. Now I understand mistakes happen, no one is perfect. But they were not willing to do ANYTHING to rectify their error, they expected us to just to come back and pick up the pizza we had ordered,, which by now was surly cold and ugly. POOR customer service,,,,, and we were talking to the manager. oh boy,,, wont be back read more
