I love that they gave a combination of white and dark meat, I was worried it would all be wings and it was well portioned. I enjoyed having a little salad with the fried chicken pieces and rice. The sauce was light and gently sweet, a very complimentary dip to the light crispy crunch of the breaded wings. Service was very welcoming and friendly with a very clean interior and the smell of freshly cooked food. I really enjoyed the food here and I'm definitely coming back for dinner with the family.

After seeing the restrooms, we were honestly so disgusted that we seriously considered leaving before we even ate. The overall condition of the restaurant showed a concerning lack of attention and care. Sadly, the food was equally disappointing. The quality was nowhere near what it used to be, and after speaking with several people during our dinner, including those familiar with the restaurant, we were left with the strong impression that these concerns are not new and that ownership has not been receptive to feedback from either employees or customers. That is perhaps the most disappointing part. Businesses like this are built over decades through loyal customers, consistent quality, and people who genuinely care about their experience. My family supported Hot Wings Café for approximately 30 years, and we never imagined reaching the point where we would say we will not be returning. It is unfortunate to watch a longtime Glendale business decline this way, particularly when many of these issues appear completely preventable if ownership were willing to listen, pay attention, and restore the standards that made the restaurant successful in the first place. Gaining a loyal customer can take years. Losing one can happen in a single visit.

All I have to say is wow. I feel like it is obligatory from my part to write an entire essay with all the reasons of why everyone in the San Fernando Valley should pay Pizza Man a visit (No exaggeration). Usually, all the pizzas I ever order are from overly-common franchise restaurants such as Domino's and Little Caesar's due to their low prices, and good quality; however, they usually lack that authentic pizza quality, if you will. I came across Pizza Man's yelp reviews a few weeks ago and decided to take the risk on giving it a try on Super Bowl Sunday. Quite a risk I think! My husband and I were hosting a gathering for approximately 10-12 people that afternoon so it was rather crucial for me to expect great pizzas without a lengthy wait for delivery, considering that it was Super Bowl Sunday. Fortunately enough I made the right choice and ordered 3 extra large pizzas, 40 wings, and 3 house salads. The young man who took my order was very amicable and patient with me. Definitely a plus! Customer service, in my opinion, is an important aspect that contributes to the quality of a restaurant. Any how, thank goodness the order was delivered in approximately 35-40 minutes. Quite impressive considering that it was an eventful day. I was not only impressed by the swiftness of the place, but also by the contents I received. Everything was very fresh, the pizza and wings were very hot and I had a very happy and satisfied group of football fanatics at my home. My husband was in awe hes the PICKIEST person when it comes to pizza. Price was very reasonable for everything I ordered. No more Domino's or Little Caesar's for me ever again! The only reason I gave it four stars is because the crust was a bit dry and there wasn't that much tomato sauce on it, which felt like it lacked some flavor. Pizza Man is basically an extension to take the runoff from Grimaldi's. That kooky old guy who welcomed you in and is throwing pizza dough around the place is actually Patsy Grimaldi himself. The oven in the back has been there nearly a century. You'll need to bring a group to split a pie, but once you do it's pretty damn economical at $2.50 a slice. The long line and reputation obviously speaks to its quality, I expected to shell out a lot more. Consider that you'd pay almost double for the same thing by the slice at most places. Serj the manager is really friendly and Sam the co-manager i think is just as cordial. It was a relief to find a Pizza Man in town as the other Pizza places we tried were not that great. The Pizzas were great and ready in 15-20 mins from time of order. There is also a special from Pizza Hut that you have to ask for and it gives you any large (except stuffed crust) for $10 plus tax for pick-up. Nothing beats that! read more

I explained that I had hungry guests at my house, including TWO pregnant women, and that I needed the correct pizzas sent out. His response was unbelievably rude: "You're gonna pay for it. You're gonna pay for it." They literally sent 3 small flat bread pizzas after we repeated six times that we want all large they even called us back to confirm our order. I almost never leave bad reviews, but this level of disrespect toward a loyal customer is unacceptable. Now I understand why they have 3 stars, even that feels generous. We'll gladly take our business somewhere else. Shame for an Armenian to own a business like this.

The pizza is the way I love-- it's a thin / crispy pizza and the dough is perfectly cooked. Ingredients were amazing. The wings can be taken tossed with sauce or with sauce on the side.
