My name is Zach h a n k e l i recently received food from Pizza Man via doordash was some of the best pizza and wings and fries that I have received in recent memory . They actually waited to make my food until a delivery driver was available to take them to my house . Screw doordash ! They are horrible in fact it took almost 2 hours to get my food . So I didn't really have any sort of expectation that I would be receiving such good food ! It seems that pizza man is one of the only restaurants that seems to actually understand that you don't make the food as soon as the order comes in because you can't rely on these idiotic drivers to get the food that was prepared to the place at a specific time ! That's all I ever ask for when I order food it's not that I need it right away the only thing I quite care about is the quality of when I receive it ! Also Chris seems to be a great manager that is running his store the way a manager should and I appreciate it greatly so , I give credit where credit is due and I rarely speak out ever but I am quite impressed . Possibly the worst experience from a pizza place. Dough seemed old. Was under done and practically raw. Seems like the dough sat in a fridge and lost its ability to rise. It was disgusting. We ordered two orders of cheese bread and ice cream. If this is a representation of the pizza place, avoid it. I'm usually not this harsh in reviews but it's the worst food I've ever eaten. I bought some fund raiser coupons for pizza man. One of them being a free 1 topping pizza. After reading the reviews on here I was prepared for the worst "Minnesota pizza". But what I got was much better than Red Savoy, Carbones, or any of the hundreds of other perpetrators of "Minnesota pizza". The pizza was similar to Little Caesars thin crust pizza. Bad service. I ordered an appetizer sampler and lasagna with Texas Toast online through Eat Street. Eat Street called me a few minutes after I ordered and told me that Pizza Man called them and said they're out of lasagna. So I told the Eat Street representative to replace it with the ravioli. A couple minutes later Eat Street calls me again saying they're also out of ravioli! At this point I should have canceled my order but I wanted to give it one more try. I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs. When the delivery man came to my door he didn't knock or ring the bell, he called me to open the door. He seemed rushed, just dropped me the food and left. No greetings no good byes or thank you. The food was barely warm, almost cold. All of the appetizers taste the same, bland. The spaghetti was a huge let down. Way too much bland sauce and only one small meatball. The "Texas Toast" was 2 slices of soggy burnt bread lightly buttered. I am never eating from Pizza Man again because they failed with the customer service. I cannot believe they made the Eat Street representative be the messenger for the customer. There are a lot of options for pizza in this area, I find myself going to Pizza Man a bit more than the others. A nice thick layer of cheese, tasty sauce and just the right thickness of crust. Gotta love that they cut in squares too. For all the hoopla about Savoy's (just a few miles down the road), I prefer Pizza Man. read more

Surprised to see the horrible reviews below. Lived in the area for 3 years and never stopped here (doesn't look like much from the road). Had a local baseball team selling coupons for a fund-raiser, so I bought one. More MN thin-crust like everyone else around. Aside from the thin-crust which I don't really care for, we've gotten good pizzas every time from here. Nothing that I'd rave over, but I've never been disappointed. Also, prices haven't been bad. We got 2 large (14") with 2 toppings for $17.90. Also, you get a sheet of coupons every time you buy, which are almost as good of deals as what I bought for the fund raiser. First time customer. Placed an order online for myself and coworkers around 1120am. Got a confirmation email stating that we're expected to get our food in 45 minutes... which was fine since our lunch was at noon. 1205pm... called the number provided just wondering where our food was (with the understanding that they're not always on time). A guy picked up, didn't have a friendly voice, said that our food is leaving the restaurant, I said ok and hung up. 1220pm (almost half way into our lunch), I decided to call back to get an update, the same guy picked up with the same attitude. "Yea, I already told you that it's out for delivery!" I told him that I was just wondering since I got an email stating that I was going to get my food within 45 minutes and it's almost an hour late, SO I WAS JUST CURIOUS WHAT THE HOLD UP WAS! He got mad and said that it's not his problem and I should've put in the delivery note that I want it by lunch time. I told him I didn't think that I would have to since the ETA was 45 minutes! We've been ordering Pizza Man for years, but recently, they had become our go-to Saturday meal. The most recent orders have not been the same as before. We would order the Super Meal Deal (16" two topping pizza, cheesy bread and 2 liter pop). They recently changed the deal to include wings, which came with a side of bleu cheese dressing. We always order the pizza with light sauce. However, the past few orders had not been light on the sauce, but seemed to be the regular sauce helping. The very last order had a spicy kick to it, and since we don't like any spice or heat, it was hard to eat. The sauce was also chunky. It was as if they had changed their sauce recipe. Received my food cold. The Alfredo, I can say, wasn't even close to being lukewarm at the least. It was more cold if anything. I ordered a pizza as well and It wasn't all that great. The combo platter which included mozzarella sticks, was cold (how is it cold when it was just ordered 20 minutes before?) the mozzarella wasn't even nice and somewhat melted at all. It was stiff. onion rings weren't even crispy. More stale. The deep fried mushrooms were the worst. It tasted like the entire combo platter sat in its own oil. No crunchiness. Just cold, stale appetizers. The only thing that was decent was the burger and wings. Other than that. Everything else was a disappointment. How does one mess up on mozzarella sticks? How does the Alfredo sauce become cold that quick? It tastes like pre made sauce straight from the fridge and microwaved for 2 minutes and it wasn't even enough to get it warm. I've ordered from pizza man before and the food was great. I don't know why this time it was so disgusting and such a disappointment. I probably won't be ordering from them again. The chicken alfredo was VERY disappointing. The pasta was soft and mushy. The chicken breast looked and tasted BOILED (not GRILLED as advertised) and the sauce was very bland. Burger beef patties weren't homemade but for under $7, I guess it's ok? I was just expecting the burger to be little more homemade from this place. Since this was the first time I have ever ordered from them, I may give them another chance but not likely. Had the fried shrimp most recently. They are good. Pretty standard out of the bag butterfly shrimp came with fries and a salad. The shrimp could of been fried a minute longer, everything was fresh as usual, the only reason I probably wouldn't go for the shrimp again is because you only get six for 10 bucks. Menu is pretty small and the place was pretty sketchy but we ordered a large supreme pizza and were not disappointed! It has lots of fresh toppings and the sauce was flavorful. Had a great delivery experience , via EatStreet. Not many places deliver to me, and the chains that do tend to be over-priced and the food is mediocre (or less). I didn't realize Pizza Man delivered all the way up here. We ordered lunch, a cheeseburger and a full hot hoagie sandwich. The total came to over $20, which concerned me a bit. However when I saw the amount of food we received, the total was forgotten. The Web site could use some beefing up, as the descriptions of the items are nonexistent, for the most part. But the "full" hoagie I received was actually two full sandwiches on wheat 8" hoagie rolls! There was no way I could eat both, as one was more than enough with the bag of chips I got also. My son's cheeseburger was a double, with chips and a pickle, and also abundant. I won't say the food was the most delectable I have ever eaten, but hey, it's just lunch and was better than I have had from any of the big chains. Most outstanding, though, was the delivery driver. I went outside to wait at the time the e-mail indicated the order would arrive, and he got here three minutes later. He apologized immediately for being late, and said he had trouble finding the building, as he had never been here before. I told him to relax, it was fine, but he still apologized again and he pulled out their menu sheet. He showed me where the coupons were on the front, the menu on the back, and the $10 off coupon from GrubHub stapled to the front. He was prompt, personable, and thorough without being a nuisance. He thanked me for my my order and for waiting outside for him before he left. Perfect interaction! I'll start of by saying that I don't usually write reviews, but felt this one was worth writing. Also, I should've listened to the reviews on here and not gone with delivery. Ugh. I placed my order at 7:40pm on a Saturday. The estimated delivery time was about an hour. I had to call around 920pm as my food still wasn't here and the restaurant said "oh no, that's wrong. It's more like an hour and a half." Ok I can be patient. My food did not come until 10pm! No exaggeration here! This place is 8 minutes from my house. My food was lukewarm. The chicken wings were ok in taste and I can guess that at the restaurant they'd probably be pretty tasty, but they were not crunchy at all. They'd obviously been sitting a while and the moisture from the heat took all the crunch away. I ordered the taco pizza... The crust was a little soggy. The cheese was no longer melted at all. I'm not sure I can say it would be better in the restaurant as it was quite salty. The flavor aside from the saltiness was good though and the lettuce, tomato, onion, and olive toppings that came separate for me to put on top were fresh. The 2 liter soda I ordered was ice cold which tells me that obviously my food was sitting at the restaurant for a very long time. Dominos would have not only been cheaper, but would've been hot and here much quicker. Would've been courteous for the restaurant to call me and update me on the delivery time and at least make sure my food was fresh and hot. I can tell it's probably quality food if you eat it at the restaurant, but 2 hours and twenty minute delivery time is ridiculous! Especially for soggy food.
