The Dubai white chocolate was absolutely delicious and definitely worth trying. We also tried the mango mousse, which was very tasty as well. However, the staff member at the sweets counter was a bit rude when I asked about the desserts, especially since there were no descriptions provided. The kanafeh also looked old and overly oily, as if it had been sitting out for a long time. I love going here. I have been here a few times. As soon as you walk in, you are greeted with this amazing aroma of perfume or something. It's not overwhelming, just so pleasant. I got home today and told my husband I wish I could smell like that. Everyone here is very friendly and is very eager to help you. Every time I have been here I've had pleasant experiences. This is a must go place. They have lots of unique and really good chocolates here. If you try their homemade Dubai chocolate you will always compare it to all the other ones you try. Hands down the best I have had. They also have delicious Dubai chocolate Strawberry cups. The back of the store has a cafe with all kinds of coffee, smoothies, pastries and cheesecake. I would say the drinks I got were too sweet for my taste. I highly recommend going here! It is outside the city, but right off 694 if you are driving by. Stop to find all sorts of amazing treats . The most sought after Dubai chocolate treats and Turkish candies. I had driven by a number of times and there was always a packed parking lot, so I kept driving. Now I know that the cafe in the back seems to be a hangout spot for some locals, which is why the parking lot is always packed. Don't let that intimidate you, go inside! Stopped by on a Friday night and the parking lot was packed, but the place is spacious and accommodated the excited crowd well. I don't know much about Dubai chocolate. I just know it's a thing right now all over social media and the kids have been wanting to try it. I knew the drive to the Golden Nuts would be a longer one, so I knew we'd have to make a day of it. We got there, and was surprised by how busy the parking lot was, but surprisingly it was so spacious inside that I was able to walk around and just browse without feeling like I was in everyone's way! When I finally found out where the Dubai chocolate was, I watched for a moment to find out what/how everyone was ordering. Then I ordered and the man so was friendly and quick! We got two orders of the chocolate bars (2 bars per order) and 2 orders of strawberries. Omg.. those strawberries!! I think that may be my top dessert!! Sooooo good! Wow, what a fun shop! Saw this on Tik Tok, had to check it out. Basically a sweets, nuts, and condiments shop with a cafe tucked in back. The part that makes this place so fun I believe is the multiple displays of sweets from the viral Dubai chocolate, the various baklavas, colorful logs of things I don't even know what they were, the cheesy sweet flat and round thing display, and the various individual chocolates for purchase. Also loved the cafe in back, they had some unique items such as kiwi lime and Dubai chocolate flavor ice cream, fresh juices , and ethnic coffee and tea choices. Even the nuts had some unique items such as ketchup cashews and pizza peanuts. I went on their 1 yr anniversary celebration. They had many samples, music and face painting outside. We finally made our way to The Golden Nuts to try the Dubai Chocolate bars. They offer two varieties: original and cookie butter, so we tried both as well as some baklava. The chocolate was thicker than anticipated, but the crunch of the filling was light and satisfying. The baklava had plenty of layers of phyllo and a small amount of filling. We got the chocolate mango thing, which was delicious and the mousse was nice and creamy; and the chocolate strawberry cup, which I fell in love with! Up until about a month ago this was thee spot for Dubai chocolate and Dubai chocolate strawberries. Prices were pretty on point with other local spots and it was around $10/12. We would stop in at least once a week and try new things while always getting a the chocolate bars. Things changed about a month ago. Quality definitely went down. I still have half of a bar in my fridge because it tasted off. They started using less pistachio cream and you can tell. They also jacked the prices up- not just a little either. They saw their audience and figured they could charge whatever they wanted. Now you get one bar and the strawberries are unaffordable for the average customer. The pricing change doesn't make sense. I haven't been back since and that's fine- there's other locations doing similar things and I'm happy to check them out. It's unfortunate though because people outside of the Dubai craze the Golden Nuts is a solid place to visit and I love that it's getting exposure from people who wouldn't normally stop in. read more

I am so incredibly happy that a middle eastern dessert shop has opened up in the metro area! The shop is massive with many middle eastern desserts, sweets, drinks, and now a recently opened ice cream/cafe area. There are a bunch of tables to sit down and enjoy your sweet treats, and the workers are always incredibly kind :) My personal favorite is the kunafa, they let you decide between more soft and cheesy, or a little bit cooled and harder. It was only my first visit, but I liked it and would return. It's a large space with lots of seating in the back, and being in a strip mall there was a good amount of parking. The two employees I interacted with were extremely kind and welcoming. I specifically went for Turkish delights, but turns out they also had: chocolate sold by the pound, fresh confections, nuts. foreign brands chips/drinks/cookies, fancy coffee pots, serveware, diffusers, and soooo much more. I haven't tried my Turkish delights yet, but got a pre-assemble pack of 10 varieties (also sold individually). I'm told that some days there's up to 28. Adventured here to find the viral Dubai chocolate. We got there maybe an hr after it opened for the day and was able to find parking and the store itself wasn't too busy yet but it did get pretty busy as time went on. In the front of the store they have a few housewares like tea kettle's on one side and perfumes on the other side near. The rest of the store is snacks, candy, tea, coffee, drinks and more. In the way back they have a coffee shop called Golden Coffee. They had the Dubai Chocolate and the strawberry chocolate cups premade towards the back. The chocolate bars were 2 for $10. We also tried the viral Propitious Mango ice cream. Both the chocolate and ice cream were really good. Will have to try the strawberry cup next time. I also tried to buy a water but when I grabbed one by the register from the fridge they weren't cold and the cashier informed me they just put them in, I put in back and informed him it was fine because we planned to stop at the coffee shop in the back. The cashier was super nice. We went to the coffee shop, ordered drinks. I asked for a cup of water and the child (yes, a kid) working the register basically said they don't have water? And that I have to purchase the warm water from the store. The child is not versed in customer service so I just let it go, not a big deal, especially because the line to purchase from the store part was getting long and moved kind of slow. Also my only other complaint was the children all over the store touching over counter parts where they package/handle the snacks. Also a little boy ramming a cart in various tight parts of the store, and especially in the tight coffee shop area. At one point someone did try to take the cart from him and he threw a fit. I'm all for family businesses and letting the kids learn/help out the business but some of the kids needed more supervision. Otherwise our drinks were good. Went here with some friends a few months back to get some matcha lattes! The inside of the store/cafe had a welcoming ambience with warm lighting and a beautiful display of perfumes & colognes. Stopped by The Golden Nuts last weekend and was blown away. It is a middle eastern store featuring a massive selection of fresh baked pastries including knafe and baklava, along with a billion types of nuts, teas, coffees, and Turkish delights. In addition, they offer a bunch of miscellaneous stuff as well. I decided to stop in after I had lunch, so I came in to pick up some pastries. I ended up getting knafe (crispy) and the white desert pictured which I do not know the name of. This is definitely a store and not a restaurant, so don't expect to come in and sit down to eat. However, they have a massive selection of fresh, house made pastries. The knafe was fantastic, super sweet and crispy. This was my first time having knafe so I have nothing to compare to but I highly recommend trying it. The white dessert was even better than the knafe, it was incredible. I wish I knew the name, but if you see it in the store - definitely get a piece. All the deserts are sold be weight, and can definitely get pricey if you're very hungry when you come in. The staff are all super friendly and even gave me a small cup of coffee/tea while I was checking out. There is a bit of a language barrier when it comes to the specific differences between the items, but they were all very kind and let you sample. The staff were incredibly kind and friendly and helped explain the different dessert items to me (there were many!). The Golden Nuts offers an array of fresh baklava, nuts, chocolates, Turkish delights and more. I haven't seen any place with such a selection besides the Naschmarkt in Vienna, Austria. Perhaps most exciting was all of the pantry products they had imported directly from Turkey and Spain, as explained by one of the staff members. This included Spanish gummies, like the strawberries and sour ropes, which I always snacked on while living there and missed dearly. You can't find them elsewhere in the states.
