I snuck a bite of my three year old's plain hotdog and the flavor and quality were solid. The food is also a good value. I got take outs, so I didn't get the full service experience but their take out service was as good as it gets. They were proactive in serving me, made sure my order was right and that I was happy with it; that I had everything I needed in the bag, etc., and were friendly while they were at it. And the vibe is distinctly Chicago, not just on the surface level where they have a lot of Chicago themed decor (which is nice but any corporate operation can mass produce that) but also on the level of the wood, the lighting, the layout, and even the personality of the service, etc., which all felt plausibly Chicago.
