This is one of a few local restaurants. Food is good, basically what you'd expect from a pizza/subs/salad place. Nothing special, but a good option, especially now for take-out during covid-19. HOWEVER, when I picked up my food, neither of the two girls working the counter were wearing a mask or gloves! Management, how ignorant could you be to allow this!? EVERY other establishment is doing what it can to protect its patrons and employees, yet it's okay for you to make your own rules? Been to the pizza market twice. The first time I ordered a steak and cheese with pickles and tomatoes. The manager said the pickles and tomatoes made it a steak bomb and charged me 1.50 more. Another reason not to order pizza simply for the discount. All though, you do hit those 1 in a long shot with the mailers and coupons in the mail. Usually I can tolerate bad pizza. But this was just beyond bad. Ordered delivery and granted it was cold outside, the cheese had already solidified and the toppings were almost cold. I went for their Specialty Pizza - the Chicken and Jalapenos. Now I expect a bit more for their "specialty" pizza - whether it's in the form of the presentation, taste, toppings, etc. It's what makes them special. The 2nd pizza was 50/50 cheese and roni. There was absolutely nothing special about their specialty pizza. It looked like they threw on the cube chunks of chicken with jalapenos. There wasn't much to the taste and wasn't expecting the crust and pizza to be similar to your typical house of pizza. Not only was the pizza bad, but they overcharged me as well. They added an extra for the specialty, extra topping for the cheese, misc delivery charge and the total came to $30 plus add tip and you are now at $35. I feel I got duped and overcharged by bad pizza. The food is sub par. The pizza is greasy and the dough is somewhat reminiscent of cardboard. In fact, the only reason I ever went to this place was for their amazing cheeseburger clubs. Unfortunately my final experience with them sealed the deal that I will never be a returning customer. (sucks for them because i would literally order about four club sandwiches a week between my fiancee and myself). I placed an order for two club sandwiches and a calzone for pickup. I got to the restaurant and paid for the food. I was handed two bags and told I was all set. I walked out, sat in the car for a moment and waited for a family to pass behind me to enter the Karate class next door, then drove home. Upon my arrival I found a distinct lack of Calzone. I called the restaurant and was informed I had left it on the counter. Not so, I took everything handed to me. I told the woman I would come back to get it, and she said not to worry about it they would drop it off in a few minutes. 45 mintes later......No calzone. I called up and inquired as to where it was. I was told they had to wait for the next delivery and it would be on it's way momentarily. I asked why it wasn't given to me, they said I left it and they tried to run out and give it to me but I drove away too quick. Remember that karate family I mentioned? yea, no way they came running out after me, I would have seen them. And way to blame the customer for your mistake. Good service skills. 90 minutes later......No calzone. I called yet again, this time the owner answered. He informed me the driver couldn't find my apartment. So I asked him why he didn't have the decency to call me since he already took my money. His response? It was dinner time and he couldn't find my number. I asked when I would be getting my calzone, he told me after dinner. I told him it was completely unacceptable since i offered to come back for it in the first place, and now it was two hours after I paid for the thing. 30 minutes later......Knock Knock. The owner shows up with my food. Needless to say I was not hungry, but I figured for the trouble I might as well have a piece. It was terrible. I bet he nuked the original calzone out of spite. The broccoli was like rubber, and the chicken was dried out. No offer of a refund. No coupons for a next visit. No apology. Squat. I haven't been back since, and I am glad, because I've learned of a cockroach infestation. Which brings me to the actual restaurant. It was always dirty inside. The tables were always sticky, the napkin dispensers were usually empty. The floor seemed perpetually unswept. Eating inside the restaurant was always an uncomfortable experience. A friend of mine. Anthony, used to deliver for them, and when I raised concerns he always told em the kitchen was clean, and it was the lazy cashiers that neglected the lobby. Whatever. it's a moot point. I haven't gone back there since and I don't think I am missing out on anything. For good pizza go to Cobb Corner Pizzeria. As a matter of fact, everything they have to offer at Cobb's is better than Pizza Market. Yup. Final summation, skip it. Save yourself a bottle of pepto and endless aggrevation and seek pizza elsewhere. If they treated a loyal customer this way, how are they going to treat a first timer? read more

Sharon is by no means a gastronomical hot bed so adjust your expectations accordingly. I have had the fortune of getting PM food twice. The first time I and several friends split a few pizzas. The pizzas were thin crust, but not like flat bread thin crust. Rather it is the thin premade pizza shell that flakes apart allowing the molten hot cheese to burn you and then you end up like Johnny Tremain. So on the pizza front I would have given them a 2.5. A weekend later the same friends and I decided to opt for the dine in experience. After we ordered some subs we sat and waited. For some unknown reason my friend opened the napkin dispenser. To my astonishment we were greeted with what I believe to be a juvenile American cockroach. As any one who has watched some Dirty Jobs or anything on TLC or Discovery will note that if you see one roach you can assume the are millions more. Also seeing them during the day also means there are lot of them. We promptly closed the napkin thing and devoured our subs. Thanks but no thanks PM. The pizzas here are those greasy Greek-style ones that come frozen from the distributor. And the cheese is so oily that you have to blot the top with a napkin before taking a bite. It's the same kind you find in many other pizza places in the Boston area. I used to like that style of pizza as a kid, but not any more. On the other hand, their subs and salad offerings aren't too bad. I never order the pizza (well I did once), but I do order subs. Sometimes it's a steak bomb, other times it's the pastrami. Always greasy but hits the spot. Sometimes I even order the gyro. I like the spicy fries or onion rings too. Places like Pizza Market are very familiar and serve a purpose. There's one of these in almost every town. So if this is what you like, Pizza Market is the place for you. And if you don't like it? Head down the street to Pizzigando. Looking for pizza in Sharon? Pizza Market is one of the better options. Possibly not the best, but one of the better. It's located in a small plaza with nothing too great along South Main Street, just a few minutes off I-95 or Route 1 (Old Post Rd exit). Large parking lot and never a long wait or many people inside. In the interior, there are lots of booths lining both sides of the rectangular shaped restaurant. Perfect space for kids to go, families of any sort (the booths are large enough to hold possibly 8 people......), or anyone looking for a space to have a quick lunch or dinner. Never busy and a clean, bright atmosphere. Large variety of all types of food. Most surprisingly, they have BEN&JERRY's? I saw this on the take out menu, and if I knew I would have ordered some! Ben&Jerry's is the BEST ice cream and there are SO few places that have it! Anyway, on the menu they have at least a dozen different pizzas, calzones, subs, salads, wraps, pasta dinners, a small kids menu, dinners, and even a catering menu. So many options, and everything is delicious. 4 stars for the Pizza market. I would come back if I was in the area in the future. read more

On a positive note, i am glad Pizza Market in Sharon hires those not qualified to be a greeter at Walmart. How difficult is it to make a Tuna sub? Apparently almost impossible! It did have a roll. It did have american cheese. It did have Tuna. It didnt have the requested hot pepper mix that could be tasted amd could not feel any heat. I looked and saw a trace of red liquid but nothing i could taste, smell, or feel the heat of. It did have onions but, there wer 6 thin individual rings on one half and 8 on the other. these are short pcs, not full rings. It was not lightly toasted as requested and thankfully it was not burnt to a crisp as have received previously. Good place if you want to be disappointed read more

Stopped ordering from them when I was charged $18.00 for a large sub. That is outrageous. I can go to a sit-down restaurant and get an entree with two sides for that amount of money. Pros - the staff are very friendly. The atmosphere is very clean. Unburnt pizza is good. Cons - lack of quality control; offering up less-than-ideal goods to customers. I took a chance and ordered a large pizza for dinner. I say "chance" because the last time I ordered pick-up here (cheese pizza and steak & cheese sub) the pizza was burnt - I'm talking black, burnt bubbles of cheese popping up all over the pizza and the sub wasn't dressed at all. Granted, I didn't ask for all the fixins' for the sub because I was rushing and my mind was somewhere else and no one bothered to ask. So I guess I got what I asked for (as far as the sub goes at least). Anyway, today my other pizza place was closed so I decided to give pizza market another chance. Again, when I picked up my pizza, it was clearly burnt. I even opened up the pizza in front of the lady at the cashier and I think my face expressed my disappointment - even she looked slightly embarrassed. Not wanting to cause a scene and not really in the mood to find an alternative dinner source, I just closed the box, paid what was due, and walked out. So there you have it. Unfortunately I can't say I'll be visiting Pizza Market any time soon. When I first went there over the summer the pizza was of good quality. I guess I could have addressed the "overdoneness" at the counter today but I didn't want to bother. My take is, whoever's making the pizza can see that it's burnt. And they chose to pack it into a box and sell it. I'm not expecting perfection, everybody makes mistakes after all, but when I give you my hard earned money, please don't knowingly sell me subpar goods. If you burned my pizza then toss it and start over. If you sold it to me because you didn't want to waste money, well guess what, you just lost a customer. Things are just not the same over the last month since new ownership took over. As I always give a business the benefit of the doubt before I post here, it's gut wrenching to have to make a post like this I'll preface this by stating .... I've been there 3 times before posting here. This is a very frustrating establishment with what I feel are headstrong people who don't listen. My first visit consisted of me observing the owner arguing with the customer over something and the customer walking out upset. My first order was a Greek Salad and a slice of pizza. Greek Salad had maybe a tablespoon of Feta Cheese..no olives and enough Greek Dressing for a tomato. The pizza was dry and flavorless and might have been made an hour before....... My next order was over the phone for a meatball sub and a small cheese pizza. The Pizza was much smaller than the last ownership put out, tasted much different and was very "Oily." The meatball sub was burned on the top and had WAY too much sauce on it, dripping onto my lap..... The meatballs were nothing like in the past and it was like chewing on a rubber ball. The 3rd time I went in I asked for a turkey sub with mayo, lettuce and tomato with the bacon burned and another Greek Salad...my mistake....The sub had a few slices of turkey which was very different than the in the past with a few leaves of lettuce and 2 tomato slices The bacon seemed to be precooked out of the package and not as I requested and once again the Greek salad was very skimpy on the cheese with brown lettuce on the bottom. I look at the comments here and am beginning to think those owners just don't like me..lol......then to see that I'm not the only one who has had those experiences....made it even more frustrating... I also had a problem with their prices...WAY TO EXPENSIVE!! almost $10 for a turkey sub? Seriously??....not a good value atol for what one gets....all 3 times I walked out paying well over $10 for lunch with poor quality and portion sizes!! ..Hope these folks get it together soon..bad news travels fast through a small town......I'll give it another shot in a few months..hopefully it'll be better....for their sake.... read more

I had pizza out from here for an event, and I have to say, it wasn't that great. It was just plain cheese pizza, but the cheese seemed to have been plastic and the crusts weren't good, they were way to hard, instead of being kinda soft. Pizzagando is closer, and, well....a little better. read more

I've got to say...I'm SHOCKED by the poor reviews below! I fully anticipated seeing 5 stars for one of my favorite pizza joints. My family and I moved to Sharon a year ago, and Pizza Market provided our first meal the night we moved into our home. We have been ordering pizzas and subs ever since and have never had any complaints. Their subs and wraps are VERY generous, and some of our favorite pizzas include their chicken broccoli alfredo, hamburger, cheese, and pepperoni. I have lived in the area most of my life and have been ordering or picking up for years from Pizza Market. By far the best pizza joint in the town and even the region in general. Very kind and courteous people both picking up and delivery. They remember their regular customers by name. offer Baclava and soups free time to time (which is nice even if I don't eat either) The only downsides would be not much seating if you looking for a place to eat out at, it is the old school Bostonian Pizza joint styled look inside from 60's 70's! They are often overly busy and can get hectic and sometimes gotta wait awhile to order due to them being only real decent service for pizza nearby! By far the most courteous and better quality pizza and subs joint in the area and I have tried them all! read more
