Still very impressed with the pizza here! Went during lent on Fridays for small cheese pizzas and all were great! Hot and fresh and great service too! Recently tried a small hamburg pizza and it was amazing! Ground beef was in nice small pieces, evenly distributed. Great food and service! Ordered catering for a Sunday lunch at a nearby venue for pizzas and various appetizers (see below for details). The manager, Jorge, was very accommodating to our catering request. He was very friendly and patient with us as we discussed the order for an event with about 100 guests. Delivery was ON-TIME and it was delicious!! ~ATMOSPHERE-5/5 - While it was quick, we were inside the restaurant to place the catering order. At a quick glance, we noticed the tables and chairs were very clean. Not a very big restaurant but still a great spot to stop by for a quick slice of pizza. ~FOOD-5/5 - Food was delicious!! We ordered about 15 pizzas (cheese, pepperoni, mushroom, chicken & broccoli, and veggie), and trays of the following: mozzarella sticks - MUST GET, this tray was gone in 10 minutes. chicken fingers - Delicious!! Not too breaded and generous amount of seasoning caesar salad - Salad tasted fresh and they provided plenty dressing on the side french fries - Fries were still hot and crispy when they arrived. Plenty of ketchup packets on the side. Pizzas were all delicious, not south shore bar pizza style but perfect amount of cheese and dough. Family Pizzeria was so nice to add in a side of yummy churros! ~SERVICE-5/5 - Jorge made ordering and delivery absolutely easy and smooth. Can't ask for a better manager to work with for catering request. Can't say enough how great the food and service was by Family Pizzeria. We had so many guests ask where the food was from and how great everything was. Even had to place a second order of mozzarella sticks and pizzas because of how great it was. I was on GrubHub yesterday and I noticed that the Family Pizzeria had a 4.6 rating. I've never eaten there before but I thought I'd give it a try. It was the best pizza I think I've ever had. I'm a sauce and crust girl and both of them were excellent especially the sauce. I added bacon and tomato to it and each bite had a little bit of both on it which is unusual! I am so glad I found this place and I didn't realize that they delivered so I will be ordering from them directly from now on because I know GrubHub and places like that take a lot of their money. I have order different meals from here and some meals were very good, some were awful, and some were average. The fish and chips were pretty bad. I think it was frozen Gorton's fish stick from Stop & Shop. The pasta with eggplant was very good. The chicken salad sub, was good one time, and the next time had way too much mayo. Stopped into the Family Pizzeria on Route 1A last night, after a shopping trip to Rocky's and Stop&Shop, for a take-out pizza for dinner. In the past, I have heard that this place has always been great. Seems great to me as well. With a large, vast area outside, parking is never a problem, and the location is quite convenient for Walpole Residents as well as anyone shopping at Stop&Shop down the road or here at the 1A Marketplace. The interior is extremely clean, well lit and quaint.... not too large, but there's a TV and about 10 tables throughout both sides. They have an extensive menu including pasta, pizza, wraps... I even saw a sign for fried dough (who else throughout a 20 mile radius has fried dough anymore??? I'll have to order it sometime soon!), nothing overpriced and everything being (in my opinion) underpriced. Additionally, friendly & fast service from the few guys working behind the counter. Family pizza of Walpole is my go to place. I always get super fast delivery and I rarely ever have any mistakes on my order. To give you an idea, I have ordered from there at least 100 times. I personally love the food and the staff. One of the few local places I feel I am getting quality food (that is not sit down dining per-say). read more

OK so a group of us at work nearby the Family Pizzeria decided to give them a try. There are multiple pizza and sub shops within a half mile radius here and we chose Family Pizzeria. I ordered a Chicken "Cutlet" Sub. I opened it and being covered in sauce and cheese I decided to bite right in. Well it turns out they gave me a meatball sub. I am Italian and do not eat anyone's meatballs but my own. Thus I was extremely disappointed in the little round hard oregano balls that I bit into. I called them right back and knowing I had to make the trip again to get the correct sandwich, I just could not eat those meatballs and so again, I went to pick up the sandwich that I originally ordered A CHICKEN CUTLET PARM, emphasis on the word cutlet. Well it would appear that family Pizza has decided to take a frozen chicken patty, cut it into strips, smother it in sauce and cheese and call it a cutlet. I am aggravated beyond words with this place, false advertisement and errors. I wasted my whole lunch period, only to end up $8.00 in the friggin hole and still hungry. Really people, is it that hard to cook a real piece of friggin chicken!!! I can get a whole bag of frozen chicken patties for $4.95 and cannot express how disappointing you have made my day. read more

Ordered a caesar salad and veggie calzone tonight. The place has a typical run of the mill pizza shop look to it - - with neon sign and soda for sale. The caesar salad was good, but the Calzone was a bit disappointing - - - rather greasy and seeped through the bottom of the box. read more
