If pizza could talk, Pizza Pete's would be giving TED Talks. Listen--when I say this chicken ranch pizza changed my life, I'm not exaggerating. I took one bite and immediately questioned every life decision that led me to not eat this sooner. The crust? Thin, crispy, and so good it deserves its own fan club. Like, I'd swipe right on this crust in a heartbeat. The chicken is cooked right the ranch is not over powering but with divine accuracy, and together they create a holy union of flavors that I imagine angels eat during their lunch breaks. This isn't pizza--it's a culinary experience. You have to try it!!! Every time I open that pizza box, I hear faint gospel music in the background. Coincidence? I think not. I saw this place on my way home and as I am always looking for the next best pizza, we went for take out the next day. It was better than I thought it be, thank goodness! We got the toasted raviolis and we didn't think they would be as good as the ones we tried in St. Louis but surprise! They were. The downfall was that marinara sauce was not included. Oversight or a separate purchase not sure but next time I will ask. The pizza was decent as well. We got sausage, green pepper, onion. Crust was crispy and very thin. Sauce and cheese good too. My husband really liked it. I opted for the meatball sandwich. Unfortunately, I asked for the cheese to be melted. Don't do that! It went too long and my bread was toasty and the cheese was melted all over the foil. I had to pick it off so as not to eat any foil stuck to the bread. Note to to just ask for cheese on top no toast! Big juicy meatballs though. It was actually a knife and fork meal not a hand grab for me. They have wings, kids meals and seafood along with usual cheese burger and pasta meals so something for everyone. read more

The sausage Double Decker was a pizza experience that I have never had before. Two slices of pizza in one. My Amazon coworker and I enjoyed the new pizza experience. Ordered from Pizza Pete a couple times before. Thought the pizza was pretty decent but like some of the other 1 star reviews I've read, it comes down to delivery. Called at 706 tonight and was told an hour or a bit more. 832 get a call from the store saying "sorry for the delay and the order was heading out the door". 849 call from the store to tell me the new driver had taken my pizza to the wrong address and that they can remake my pizza order and send it out. That would have put our pizza's arriving near ten with their hour delivery time. I told them to forget it! 3 hours to get a pizza??? Too many choices out this way! Never again..... read more

Would have been 1 star, but the food is actually pretty good. I've been to this newer location twice in the past 3 months and both times they have forgotten something in our order. And by "forget" I don't mean ketchup or extra onions. The first visit, they forgot one of the two kids meals I ordered (both times I went to pick-it-up)....so when I was there this past weekend, I literally asked if BOTH kids meals were in the stapled bag....the worker assured me they were.....shame on me for not looking, but of course....AGAIN.....one of the meals was missing when I got home. Decided to try out a new place for a change. Googled pizza near me and pizza Pete popped up. Had good reviews so I said why not? little did I know Monday's is 40% off thin crust! THE PIZZA WAS AWESOME! I called and asked for thin crust extra crispy and they did not disappoint. Every bit to the middle had a perfect crunch. Grew up with the original location in Chicago Ridge. The newest location in Frankfort is close to my dad. The sauce is traditional, the crust is thin, the toppings are plentiful, and it is cooked perfectly. We did not try anything else yet... Definitely will be bringing thin crust to dad's house again soon. read more

Pizza was okay, Buffalo wings were fine but they barely had any sauce on them, couldn't even taste it, just tasted like chicken wings. Mozzarella sticks were decent I'm sure they tasted good when they were warm but only the delivery guy really knows seeing as we were short one. read more

This is a carry out only place in Frankfort that I happened to find on my way to Target. I ordered the chicken tenders the cook must have been rushing because when I got home my tenders were still pink in the inside. I will say that their pizza is very good and I would definitely order again even though I was disappointed with my chicken tenders. read more

We ordered an Extra Large Pizza and an order of Fried Zucchini this evening from Pizza Pete in Frankfort, IL We live almost 7 miles from this Pizza Pete but we had good luck the first time. However, this time was a Terrible Experience, and I Truly mean TERRIBLE! What passed for an order of Fried Zucchini was 2 slices of Fried (on 1 side) Zucchini and an Undercooked Lump of Batter with a center of Mush...no Zucchini, just a tube shaped 3" x 2" semi-cooked lump. When I cut into it the uncooked batter just oozed out. It Was Disgusting! My husband talked to the Manager at Pizza Pete and told him we were Unsatisfied with our order and explained the mess we were given; the manager offered us a Refund on the Zucchini! However my husband had finished the conversation too soon. While he was talking to the manager I had opened the box of Pizza and shouted from the kitchen to him that the Pizza was COLD and STUCK to the CARDBOARD! Alas, he hadn't heard me from the other room before he hung up! So my review of Pizza Pete tonight Also includes my review of a 'Thumbs Down' on the Cold, stuck to the cardboard Pizza itself! * Side Note: I worked at a Pizza Pete for almost 3 years when I was in High School in the '70's. Our store's Reputation and Service was Excellent! If any one of us that worked there ever had a phone call from a unsatisfied customer describing what I just described above in my recent unsatisfactory review experience, we'd of been Fired instantly and the Customer would have received a Full Refund for the Terribly Quality of Food we paid for, which was Over $30!
