This review is centered on a delivery to a home. The order was called in to Aurelios at approximately 5:30 PM on June 27, 2026. We are a regular customer of this restaurant and their home deliveries and are not a stranger to them. Usually a home delivery takes approximately 45 - 50 minutes On this particular delivery something went terribly wrong. At 6:30 PM we were getting concerned and about to call the restaurant. At 7:00 PM a neighbor several doors down the street called us to say they received a pizza and thought it was theirs, but after opening it and looking at the receipt thought it might be ours. Thank you, neighbor. Your concern for detail and accuracy far exceeds the delivery operator and restaurant. We scored the $42 pizza as a loss that will not be repeated. read more

We very much enjoyed my mom's 80th birthday party here in their party room 8 years ago. All the many foods were delicious and the service was great. Party room was nice and clean and spacious. But my husband and I stopped in Sat. to try their stuffed pizza and I had a craving for their soft breadsticks with creamy garlic dressing. The breadsticks were perfect as usual. But we weren't enamored with the stuffed pizza. For Aurelio's it is best to stick with their famous signature original thin crust pizza. That's the one we all know and love! Just went here for my 74th birthday with my husband of 50 yrs. My request. Love their food and ample room for our2 walkers. Had meatball sandwiches on garlic bread and antipasto salad and fried ravioli for appetizers. Everything was delicious. We often order their meatball pizza which is out of this world. Ambiance was soccer soccer and more soccer. Service was good as usual also. Would highly recommend. This is our go to place for pizza when people come into town for visits. read more

Change is not always good, especially if it involved changing ranch from homemade, to ranch that isn't even as good as Hidden Valley. I paid $16 for a house salad, that barely feeds one by the way, with just iceberg lettuce, when the menu says romaine's included, and some cheap ranch. Why make this change when you're a Midwest company, where there are heaps of ranch connoisseurs. Why take away one of your biggest assets? read more

Frankfort is my go to. I live in Mokena and come here for the better consistency. We ordered a fiesta pepperoni and a vegan small pizza. The phone app showed a 35 minute pick up time of 630pm. I arrived at 635 and was told it'll be another 10 minutes. No reason given. At 650 I was out the door finally. The vegan pizza seemed fine but the fiesta was overdone and dry. Was it done first, they forgot about the vegan pizza and therefore the fiesta pizza was affected? The app needs to be improved. You gather points but you cannot use coupons. The app saves the restaurant time and resources yet not having the coupon reduction makes me want to just call and use those resources. Gotta give a reason to use the app that's advantageous over the phone call. Still a good pizza place but the options in this area are too numerous to count. Great app and reward programs, great product, great price point and great service will check all those competitive boxes for a consumer with choices. Great product and service here. Consistency is important. Of late, the quality of the food has not been consistent. Pizzas have been overcooked to the point of being burnt or a crust as hard as a cookie. Sometimes the amount of sauce is overwhelming. The soup had very little stock being mostly broth. Bread rolls are hard and crackers stale. The utensil are not always clean and are now a point of "check them first before using". One plate in the stack on the table most recently was "used" and "never" cleaned. How does that happen? The service is always nice but not enough. Management needs to manage the process and return the quality of the food and cleanliness back to expectations. "Joe" wouldn't be proud. Every meal served must be consistent to what Joe built the brand on. Unfortunately this experience has not been a one time event. Worst place to book a room for a party. Jessica manager was very rude and abrupt while asking questions. I called to simply get questions and could not. Very short and service while talking to a costumers getting yelled at like you should know the answers. Very rude . Have been a loyal and supportive customer for over forty years, however the Frankfort location has some definite consistency problems. Approximately four weeks ago we ordered a medium pizza with double sausage and a request to have the cheese browned, today we ordered the exact same pizza. The outcome was on both occasions extremely disappointing. The pizzas were not hot when picked up, they were dried out, the extra sausage was thrown on top of the pizza in a manner that we strongly believe these are leftover pizzas from the buffet. When taking a closer look the extra sausage has no cheese on the pieces and are slightly burned. Both orders were made at approximately 3:15 and picked up at 3:45. This time frame fits for using leftover buffet items. I write this as information. I don't want my money back nor a free pizza. A photo is attached. Although not a huge pizza guy, the pizza here at Aurelio's Pizza, is decent. The homies and I shared a cheese, sausage, and pepperoni pizza and it was aight. Usually even with mediocre pizza, once the pizza is out of the oven and the cheese is nice and gooey, its their saving grace. This pizza was not exceptionally piping hot and even so, it was A-OK. I also ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and it was somewhat small. It was a little bit larger than slider-size, I would estimate probably a 3-oz chicken patty. Nothing too special or great about it though, but I get it, this place is called "Aurelio's Pizza", and not "Aurelio's Grilled Chicken Sandwiches". Wait staff was A-OK and friendly, and for the most part were pretty attentive. We came here about 90-minutes before they closed, on a Sunday night, and it was rather empty. The ambiance was casual and they had several flat panel TVs showing the Cubs game. There was a 32-inch tube TV on top of one of the booths, showing the game, and it bought me back to 2002. Good times. Everyone was really nice and no one really made us feel rushed, even though we were pretty much the last people at the restaurant. As mentioned, not a big pizza guy, nor does this place make me think twice about coming back. BATHROOM REVIEW: Wow, feels like I haven't done one in a while. Located near the back, the bathrooms were actually really clean! Super spacious, and consisting of two urinals and two stalls, the bathroom was clean and accommodating. I love Aurelio's! Been eating it for over 30 years. First experience was the Homewood location as a kid. I've had carry out from Richton Park and New Lenox. Dining at Frankfort we had a bit of a wait to get seated although there were plenty of open tables. Food and drinks were good but the restaurant was not very clean. A lot of the tables had garbage on the floor from previous diners. Our booth wasn't wiped off properly so we had to wipe off crumbs before we sat down. Our service was great. read more

It pains me to write this review. I was simply going to speak with the mgr but they kept me on hold and never picked-up. We have been Southside patrons of Aurelio's (various locations) for 40+ years. Ordered our usual cheese-sausage pizza and I'm not even sure I can describe how bad it was. No cheese in the middle, so it was cooked to where the sauce was literally over-baked into the crust rendering the middle just a hard, dry and tough crust ; the sausage tasted old; and parts of the pizza were burnt. I've actually had better frozen pizzas. Not sure what has happened to the quality control at this location (Frankfort) but this is NOT the Aurelio's I know, and not something of which Joe would have approved. I was very pleased with the quality of the pizza, delivered quickly and hot to my table. There are lots of options for pizza of different sizes and topings. There are plenty of other menu options of sandwiches, salads and pasta. Nice dining room , with plenty of room plus another room for group gatherings. Ample parking with handicapped spots close to both entrance doors. There is a pickup entrance at the back of the building Making for easy pickup orders. Easiest access to the restaurant is to turn at the traffic light at N. Locus Street then first left takes you behind tje reastuant parking or pickup Service was friendly, on my visit just a little slower than average but certainly acceptable. Noise level in dining room was low making it easy to have a conversation during a meal. Only a couple of televisions in the dining so not too much distraction from them. read more

Had my birthday party at the Frankfort IL Aurelio's Saturday night. The room was clean and set up for us when we arrived to add our decorations. Cannot say enough good things about the evening. Chris, our "party organizer", was wonderful from start to finish. We had the 27 people in the party room and the Family buffet - the "works". Everybody loved the food; both quality and quantity. There were takeout boxes for leftovers for our guests and Chris wrapped up what was leftover for us. Definitely recommend. read more

Two words, OLD OVEN. I live in Mokena and I only order from the Frankfurt location to specifically get fresh, hot, old oven pizza. Crispy, salty, caramelized, all thanks to the old oven. Succulent, old oven. My friends loved it and couldn't stop talking about it, my dogs loved it. When I order from the Mokena location my dogs won't eat it. On Friday nights I'll stop at Mokena Video to rent a movie and be craving an old oven. I drive right by the Mokena location with my middle finger out the window as I make way towards that sweet, sweet, old oven. I was out south - way out south - when hunger came over me. I hadn't been to an Aurelio's since they closed the Evergreen Park location. Seeking nourishment I stopped in and eventually left well fed and satisfied. Appetizer combo of cheesesticks, toasted ravioli, and poppers was delicious. The pizza was outstanding. The sausage in particular is tasty and different from most other pizza places. I don't know if they make it themselves or if they are getting it from some other provisions place but it is good. Holy cow probably the top 3 pizza I've ever tasted. The sauce is a bit sweet, lots of toppings, and the crust is a good thin crust. Great environment, staff was great, a bit pricy, but a fantastic experience. The toasted cheese ravioli is amazing. The garlic bread is good as well. read more
