A friend from high school recommended Village Pizza. He said it was one of the best pizza spots in the Chicago area. I ended up following them on FB and saw that they had a special today for a large pizza, any toppings for $17.99. I called and placed the order easily and the worker who answered shared the total price and that they only accepted cash and the pizza would be ready in 30 minutes. I probably arrived 5 minutes early and it was ready. Quick cash transaction and customer service was fine. The pizza is pretty good, but not sure that it would land on my top 5 list...but maybe top 10. read more

Hubby and I ordered a large thin-crust sausage pizza for pickup. (Sorry I don't have a picture to show, but I was hungry). This is a quaint establishment in downtown Tinley Park and were greeted as soon as we entered. It is cheesy and the sauce isn't sweet like we are used to, but it is good pizza. But Village Pizza is the only place that I could eat every single day . If I get a extra large pizza I will eat it breakfast lunch and dinner until it's gone and sometimes it takes 3 days . And I'm never bored of it because it's the best pizza with the most original tasty sauce I've ever come across. Tried ordering for delivery. Their website said they deliver to Orland Park. Called to place an order. Received a callback few minutes later that they do not deliver past a certain street in orland park It would be helpful if they could make you aware either by posting the boundaries on the website or having order takers ask at time of call. 4 year ago I fell in love with pizza because of my mother always wanting it and I been going around trying a lot of pizza. I tasted most good and some bad but this is on the bad side. I don't leave negative reviews but you guys need to up the game on the crust and sauce. Cheese was alright, nice and golden and doesn't make pizza oily, they put enough on it too. Customer service was just quick no I how you doing kinda thing. Crust of my original pizza was like a double layer dough with air in the middle filled with remnants of flour which make the crust taste like cheap bleach flour, the first crust that touches the pan is like a stale saltine crack with flour on it. Who was the dough made by a kid with Michael Penix hands. But the worse was the sauce. It taste like somimg you don't want to swallow because you know how good pizza taste but at the same time tolerable, it's either the preservatives and citric acid in the peeled tomato cans and don't cook the sauce before adding it to the pizza and cooking the pizza or the sauce is just sour, could be old tomatoes or just bad luck. You guys need to stop buying what ever flour you guys use probably some aldi brand, and no I'm not some 400 pound guy mad about taste, I'm less than half that, just got love for pizza. read more

My father went in to talk to the workers at Village Pizza about a fundraiser for a scholarship for a Tinley Park High School student. While describing the scholarship he was told by a worker "get out of here we don't have time for this". As a member of the community I will not go to this establishment as they clearly do not care about the residents within the community. I am fine with them not donating but to be dismissive of a person is just rude. For that reason Village Pizza will not be getting my business anytime soon. read more

Best pizza we have tried in Tinley, this is definitely "our spot" for pizza. SO much cheese and good amount of sauce to balance it out, crust is good even tho it's a bit chewy.
