Pickup window is separate from dining which is nice. Pizza was very good like usual. They would deliver to the ice rink I worked at back in the day and we would get the leftovers. I called to ask for a refund and the first guy said he wasn't sure they could give us a refund back. He passed the phone over and I was offered credit. I let them know I would not be going back to try again as I had a simple order and wouldn't trust them with a larger or complicated order. Didn't wanna leave this comment here but they have no place to contact besides phone and I'm done waiting for a manager to call back. I think this place is a hit or miss. Today def a miss. The pizza was good but we got the Bosco sticks and my gf NEVER complains. She said they tasted like straight grease like it hadn't been cleaned in a while. I grew up around here and maybe I'm partial but it's for good reason, if I'm within 15 miles I will drive here to get a puff. Ok, so it's corny, but these guys are the puff daddy's, or panzerotti daddy's if you want to get technical. I've tried a lot of puffs and never had one even close to Grassano's. My go to is a sausage, onion, mushroom and light garlic puff. My wife will usually get pepperoni and if she wants to spice it up she'll get the pepperoni. My boys love the pizza and pizza bread. I've had probably 15 different types of puffs from here and literally never had a bad one. Couple times ago I had a beef and giardiniera puff, amazing. Honestly,I don't understand what people are ordering who give this place some of the lower reviews. The moment you walk in, you smell the garlic, the sauces and the bread. It makes you smile. The wait staff were friendly and efficient. I ordered a meatball calzone. OMGOSH! It was huge! The COVID-19 culinary tour continues. Fair warning, this isn't my first trip to Grassano's. Before we get into the food, this place actually shut down completely in order to keep customers and staff safe. It took a lot of guts to do that, especially when everyone else was expanding pick-up and delivery options. I'm not sure if or how they supported employees over that time. It would be interesting to hear. I'm glad they are back open. Ok, onto the food! This place is so inexpensive for the value. Sometimes my wife and I will order lunch & dinner from this place with one order and it will only be $50 with delivery. The marinated chicken sandwich is fantastic. Simple. We normally get a cup of their hot sauce on the side. The fries are always great. The pizza is good. The ingredients are always fresh and abundantly applied. Their sauce is tasty. My one grip with the pizza is the crust/dough. It is almost always soggy. Never crispy, even with the thin crust. Once you accept that is what you will get, you can enjoy the pizza. Only 1 place in the area has provided me a crisp crust and that is Sal's Pizza and authentic Mexican. So it may not be something people in this area really care about. Once again, you can't beat the price, have not had a bad meal, solid pizza with tons of toppings. Chicken sandwich, chicken sandwich, chicken sandwich.
