So I love the fried chicken 4 pc Onion rings are frozen from a box. Should be made fresh daily! Not a hard achievement to accomplish. The chicken is way too crispy on the outside tells me these are pre breaded and frozen as well! Now they have enough employees on staff to make these fresh from scratch! Onions are cheep to buy fresh. Making a beer batter fresh every day is easy and cheep. I am a sucker for eggplant parm sandwiches. This seems like a a good place to eat at for my first time here but I would say that the sauce for the eggplant parm could be improved. I also ordered mozzarella sticks which I really liked. The breading was flavorful and came with marinara sauce. The cashier was friendly too. Great foods, they have varies of choices for pizzas and love their option for calzones, pay 7.80 for all you can stuff! Great customer service and it's family-owned restaurant (gotta to love those locals!) Also ordered lobster salad roll and it was delicious! Had their homemade Baklava and it was awesome! This is the first time I've ever ordered from the one in moosup, I ordered take out and when I walked in there were about 3-4 young girls no older than maybe 16-17 years old working behind the counter. The first thing I noticed was that they were ALL WEARING CROP TOPS AND BOOTY SHORTS AND FLIP FLOPS. Now I'm only 21 years old and wear those things sometimes but that is NOT work appropriate!! Worst customer service I've ever received. Ordered online tonight a gluten free pizza.... apparently when it went through from online to their computer system it didn't transpire. Which is understandable... so I called and asked if I could have a gluten free pizza and trade in the other one. The guy proceeded to tell me I was wrong and ordered the wrong pizza. After continuing to argue with me, I went down there with my pizza and emailed receipt. The email specifically shows it was ordered as a gluten free pizza. He then proceeded to argue with me and made me come around the back to show me that it didn't read gluten free. He was at first refusing my request for a new pizza or refund. I specifically asked the man if the pizza originally requested could be made gluten free or not, if not just a pepperoni and cheese would be fine. He ignored my question, threw the pizza in the trash and didn't say a word. He proceeded to make the same, not gluten free pizza on a gluten free crust. He wouldn't even serve it to me himself, he had the gentleman at the front give it to me. I understand that computers can suck and what not and was very polite on the phone. Not entirely sure why there was a need to argue with a customer that had their receipt AND the menu as proof. Very disappointed and will definitely not be going back here. This is the second time I've ordered from here and ONLY because I decided to give it a 2nd chance. This restaurant is LITERALLY 3 blocks away, yet my pizza was barely warm on delivery. It should've been HOT. The man that took my call offered to make a new one but I waited for almost an hour to get the first order and I wasn't waiting another hour to eat at 8:30 pm. and he made no apologies nor did he offer any recompense for a lukewarm pizza. We just moved to the area and have gotten food from here about three times now. We've been extremely pleased each time. The calzones are fantastic and much larger than we expected, we both got two meals out of them and they were great. The burgers are perfect for those burger cravings...really hits the spot. They have so many options for grinders and they taste amazing as well! We are so happy to be living right down the street from such a great place. Definitely worth giving a try. read more

The first time we went in here was to look around and scope out the place. It was completely empty, with no customers. They had pizza out available for slices. Before I go any further let me just say that I work at Big Y in the pizza shop and we are not allowed to display our pizza on the line for slices for more than 45 minutes without making a new one, so I know when a pizza is fresh and when it is not. This is PER STATE HEALTH AND SANITATION CODES. 45 minutes and no longer. I kid you not, the pizzas they had out available for slices were so old that they looked gray. I'm not exaggerating when I say that it looked like it had been there for hours... if not all day. Extremely against state health codes. They should be shut down for selling people pizza that's so old a homeless person wouldn't eat it out of a dumpster. Pizza has cheese on it and when you leave cheese out for a long period of time, it starts growing bacteria. Absolutely disgusting. So anyways this was probably, I don't know, 6 months ago, and last night my boyfriend decided to get a pizza from there. I don't know what compelled him to do it but he did. I thought well okay, I'll try it. Maybe their ready made pizza is different. The answer is no, no it's not. The ingredients they used were clearly bad, or they didn't wash their hands while making it, or they cross contaminated. It's not even 12 hours later and I'm in my bathroom with food poisoning. I have been visiting this restaurant at 24 Prospect St in Moosup, CT, for a couple of years now and I always order the large Ceasar salad and a slice of whatever looks good. Unfortunately, this location was just sold and the new owners have already started changing things. I'm not sure what brand Caesar dressing the previous owners (who still own the Pizza Pizzazz in Danielson, CT) purchased as it came in a little 2 or 3 oz cup with my salad. The new owners are now giving a packet of Ken's brand Caesar dressing with the salad. It is revolting. It tastes like mayonnaise and vinegar and the barest hint of actual Caesar dressing flavor. I loathe the flavor of mayonnaise (and Miracle Whip, too)! The amount of lettuce in the salad has also been reduced; it seems to be about 1/3 less. The amount of croutons, bacon bits and parmesan shavings have also been reduced. I noticed the smaller salad portion size last week, but thought it might be an off day, especially since the price did not decrease to account for the lesser amount of food. The dressing was still the old dressing as the sale of the business had just been completed that week or the week before. This week I got the disgusting Ken's dressing AND less lettuce than I used to. The pizza was still good but this week's purchase made sure that I will not be returning to the Moosup Pizza Pizzazz. It was a such a nice little walk over from work. Now, I'll have to make the drive to Danielson whenever I crave a Caesar salad for lunch. read more

The subs are made with an excellent roll, that is soft, even after toasting. The steak and cheese is the best around, not greasy, tender and flavorful. Anything fried has been good, not greasy, We didnt care for the wings, I prefer no breading on them and not a fan of the Pizza so far.
