Ordered delivery for three pies and two 2 liters. I had specifically asked for plates, napkins and cups since this was getting delivered to the lake. I was told it would be a half hour wait. After over forty minutes past the estimated arrival time, the food showed up- without anything to eat it on. The driver was apologetic but we ended up having to use our beach towels as plates / napkins and never even got to drink our soda since we didn't get cups either. I have to give them 5 stars for the food. Ordering over the phone can be a true test of patience but the food is top notch. Be careful and specific when you order, sometimes the person answering is really lazy. We live in an Italian area with tons of Italian restaurants and pizza joints, most are ok and some are terrible. But Pizza Place is the best and makes their food to order. Their chicken francese is too die for!!! They even make chicken francese and chicken marsala wedges... the BEST!! I can't eat either dish or wedge anywhere else. I'm so spoiled by the quality and flavors that anything else tastes dull, bland, watery, badly seasoned. The pizzas are amazing because the crust is fantastic, ingredients are fresh and again, they cook it to your specifications. This is our go-to Italian joint. PS they deliver too! read more

There is zero integrity management here. I ordered a cheeseburger deluxe. It says $8.00 on the board. I was charged $8.50. I also ordered a beef patty. It says $2.50 on the board. I was charged $2.75. I questioned it but was told it was the tax. You guessed it-I was charged $11.25 plus tax, or $12.19. No apology was forthcoming nor was there a valid explanation. I didn't even receive a thank you for dining at the place. Do you really want to give these folks your business? I won't be back ...ever. Double check your bills. I am not sure how intentions of ordering a new menu board with new prices syncs with not honoring what the customer sees and expects to pay, especially when the customer feels he's been taken. read more

Two hour wait for the most mediocre pizza I've had in my life. Upon opening, the pie resembled that of what can be found at Chuck E Cheese. The sauce is overly sweet and tinny, no garlic or spices found for miles. The crust is thin and burnt, it's stale. You can chip a tooth if you don't dislocate your jaw while chewing this 'za. I didn't actually eat here but I had an encounter that I thought was worth sharing on here. I had just gotten back from the city and off the train and realized I forgot my keys on there. Any family or friends who I asked for a ride were all busy. It got late and I saw the owner hanging out outside the restaurant. I asked him for a cigarette and we hung out for a bit. He let me hang out in his restaurant and charge my phone, and even offered me a slice. I didn't have any, not because I wasn't hungry but because it was so late that if I ate, I wouldn't have gotten to sleep. Really awesome guy, who if I hadn't charged my phone, things would've turned out much worse. I'm gonna come through here soon and have some of the pie cause the other reviews were great, and I'm really thankful this guy helped me out. read more

This is the only place we order pizza and wings from. There's many options in this town, but this place seems to never fail and is always delicious. Their wings are awesome. Recently we had an issue with a tray of food we ordered for a party. I won't go into details on here of what the problem was, but it took a 5 minute phone call to let them know we were unsatisfied. They (specifically John) made me feel like such a valued customer. I absolutely will continue ordering from here, not just because the food is great, but because the service is even better. I know they were disappointed that the issue ever occurred, but they were determined to make it better for us, and they did. It shows there is passion for what they're doing! Excellent all around. UPDATE 11/2017- We continue to order from here all the time, a few times a month at least. The service has become so incredibly slow. Time frames like 25 minutes to an hour, isn't really helpful when you're picking up your food. Also, our last delivery was an hour and 30 minutes, way longer than they told us. The last time I picked up, I was told 30-40 minutes and showed up at the 45 minute mark- THEY HAD NOT EVEN STARTED MY FOOD. I understand they're the best place in town for pizza so they're busy, but they're going to lose customers this way. To make it right they offered garlic knots, which I declined because I couldn't wait a minute more. The guy making the pizza told me "it takes time". Well obviously, but it shouldn't take well over an hour when i was told 30-40. When John is not there, this place doesn't run right. I've NEVER had an issue when he is there and have always had the best service. I don't know where he has been the last 5 times I've ordered, but we will definitely have to cross this off our favorite take out spots. read more
