Pizza is always so good! Perfect ratio of sauce and toppings! I have been going to this place since I was a kid and still love it!

Neapolitan pizza is something like a culinary ancestor to New York pizza, which has more mozzarella cheese and a somewhat sweeter sauce. The Italian salads and entrees are also excellent. The Chef-Owner trained in Italy, and it shows. Service is friendly, competent and responsive. The ambiance is modern, although I think the seating and tabletops are fairly basic. All in all, the pizzas are the stars of the menu, and well worth it as an authentic taste of classic Neapolitan cuisine.

Personally, everything for me was delicious, the loss of a star is for the outrageous 5$ fee for…read moregluten free "crackers" to accompany the whipped ricotta appetizer we had. They tasted just like a tortilla chip though soooo... I think 2$ is more appropriate (menu also had GF at 4$ and then we were charged 5$ at the end in which I thought I'd be getting gluten free bread too but alas, the app was really really good - a friends complaint is that it could use more lemon flavor, I can see that too) I was also charged 4$ for my gluten free pasta, but the dish was so so so good. The creamy sauce was absolutely incredible. I had the shrimp scampi along with a blueberry syrup mocktail and I was completely satisfied. Also had a taste of the blueberry martini which was also very good. My friend had the lasagna which she rated at 3 stars and said it was overcooked but the sauce was good. My sister had the lobster ravioli and it was undercooked, too al dente for her liking and was dissatisfied as it was the most expensive thing on the menu. My sister would go back, my friend would not, and i definitely would. Service was very nice. I just looked at my receipt and there is a charge for "rustic bread" so I'm not sure what that is... did they charge us for both the GF crackers AND the bread that should have been included in the appetizer? That's also not cool.

Great little pizzeria in Hico. Plenty of comfortable seating and parking, with handicap accessible,…read moresingle occupancy restrooms. After you order at the counter you can watch the friendly, expedient, and attentive staff make your order in the wood fire oven you can view from each table. There is a pretty ample beer and wine selection--only a few basic beers on draft. For dinner, ordered bruschetta; pepperoni pizza; a BYOP with chicken, garlic parm sauce, and mushrooms; and a side salad. The side salad consisted of crisp romaine, sliced cherry tomatoes, and croutons. I opted for the honey vinaigrette. The salad was tasty but not revolutionary. Next up came the bruschetta. It was advertised as incorporating hot honey so we decided to go on a flavor adventure. The cheese they use was very wet and lumpy goat cheese. The basil and cheese really overpowered the hot honey and the tomatoes were overcooked and whole cherry tomatoes. No balsamic that I noted. Definitely not a traditional bruschetta and also not one I would order again, but it wasn't terrible. My husband wouldn't stop raving about the marinara sauce on his pepperoni pizza. He also loved the airy, wood-fired crust. On my BYOpizza, I enjoyed the crust, as well. It was not overly tough nor overly thin and had a great taste. The mushrooms must have been sautéed in a way to make Julia Child proud. They were amazing and well complemented by the herb roasted chicken and garlic Parmesan sauce. Highly recommend this combo. Overall, it's a great place! Wish it was closer to home. Will definitely return!
