There are a variety of pizza pubs in the region and this is the best I've tried. The owner and staff here push this into the upper echelons of experiences, being very accommodating and friendly. Not only was it extremely comfortable between interactions, but the food was legitimately excellent. From my understanding, this is the only Pizza Pub that does a pizza of the month and flavor of the month for wings. Both of which were awesome. They also do an all you can eat buffet weekly. We got the Ruben large pizza which was okay. I wouldn't order again it was dry and had a lot of sauerkraut on it. The pizza was around $26 with tax and we only had waters. Prices seemed high for a single 14 in pizza. My guests had the taco pizza which was amazing as I'm tried a few slices and I'd order that one again. The staff were friendly and prompt to offer refills on beverages. They have a cool outside seating area. They have a pizza buffet on Wednesdays for $17 but add on the salad bar and that's an additional charge around $6. Plenty of parking in the side lot. Lots of seating inside and would be great for larger parties. read more

Showed up to pick up a pizza and the door was locked...no note or anything! Drove around to the window and let the young lady at the window know, she snapped back with an attitude saying that the lobby was closed! She snatched the card out of my hand tossed it back at me without a receipt or a word. She turned and grabbed the pizza and bread sticks we ordered shoving them at us so violently that the bread sticks nearly slid off onto the ground. Before I could say anything she slammed the window and walked away! When we got home I noticed the order was not correct as the pizza was missing the sausage. I attempted to call and asked for the manager and was told that the manager quit! I then was told there would be be a manager on Wednesday...after she hung up on me while I started to explain the issue I had enough and emailed corporate Pizza Hut. I received an email saying a manager would reach out to me that week from the restaurant...it's been 2 weeks and a follow up email to corporate with no response! My kids love coming to the pizza pub, there is a small arcade where they can have fun while they wait. The castle/ mid evil vibe is interesting. The pizza is absolutely fantastic, but you pay for it! Service is generally very good but can be a little slow during the frequent busy times. The new pizza of the month adds variety and new unique flavors. My fave pizza! Pizza pub honestly has some of the best pizza and they have several locations to choose from. Here at pine city they just installed an axe throwing room, I have always wanted to do this it was so fun! The staff was awesome and the manager Travis is super cool and friendly. I have given this location 2 chances to impress me. Lets say they have not. Service ok. Takes a long time to get food. Servers need more customer service training. Food... Pretty plain burger. Pizza... Not a fan... Peperoni is under the cheese so not crispy. They did not tell us in advance there was a surcharge to pay with a credit card and that there was a cash discount. Totally would have paid cash. There is a sign but saw it only by chance and too late. Probably will not eat there again. read more

It's a great meeting spot for my mom and I. We meet usually once every week or two weeks for business; she lives in Duluth and I live in St. Paul, so it's roughly halfway. We don't like supporting chain/fast food restaurants in small towns (which can be a hard thing to avoid), so the Pizza Pub gets our business here. Wednesdays they've got a pizza buffet, drink included, for a fair price (can't recall off hand). Free wi-fi, and LOTS of seating. Honestly, I think this place could accommodate 200+ people, and I could see it as a site for a tow-hall meeting place. read more

Went here for a surprise birthday party. Our host ordered several of the HUGE pizzas. They were all really good. The garbage was my favorite. Absolutely loaded with everything you could imagine. I have always enjoyed this Pizza and they have a great selection of draft beers. They have recently decided to add 99Cents to any bill using a credit card. I think this is a sign of poor financial management. Most businesses today encourage credit/debit use as a way to reduce costs since you do not need to handle coins/cash. Although the pizzas are good they are on the high end of price. I expressed by displeasure with extra fee without notification (there is a small note on the napkin dispenser. Who looks at that??) The server also said that she was not happy with the extra charge and said they have had a lot of complaints about it. read more

Easily the worst pizza crust in the country. Bland, tasteless, undercooked and entirely uncreative. The toppings were good, the cheese was fresh, but not good enough to overlook the crust.
