Worst pizza ranch ever. Food stale, cold and soup crock empty. Staff was a bunch of teenagers who didn't give a damn.

We went to pizza ranch in fon du lac and it was very disappointing. They had soup but pot was empty, most of the pizzas were the same,we asked to have one made for us we didn't get it. Potatoes were cold salad pot was almost empty. There was a table in front of us that the staff was catering to they had all sorts of different pizzas on their table and we couldn't get one pizza not happy with this place at all. First the good parts: Plenty of parking and it's fairly clean inside. It's cheap.....really cheap. Its decor screams cheap.... The food.....it's ok. You're not going to get a great pizza at this price, it's a classic case of you get what you pay for. So if you want a lot of pizza and you're not choosey about the quality, this is your place. read more

I very seldom write a review but, we ate at Pizza Ranch last night (Weds) I was not a happy customer ! #1. the exhaust fan above us was filthy..... #2. the tables were dirty........ # 3. the pizza area was in need of cleaning AND the pizzas were cold........... # 4. the salad bar was overcome with food everywhere !!!!!!! # 5. the coffee thermos was empty, even though I asked for coffee. # 6. The first batch of chicken had already been fried, much later a FRESH batch came out. # 7. from was I saw the kids were running the shop . It's been awhile since we had eaten at Pizza Ranch, but the service was awesome as usual. The manger Pahoua came out and greeted us with the warmest welcome. It was wonderful. Everything was great and clean. We will continue to go back thats for sure. read more

Personally I really enjoy coming here. The staff is friendly, the food is hot and good, the food is well stocked, they keep the food serving areas clean, and the restaurant is kept clean as well. It can get busy, but the staff is more than capable of handling it. I truly couldn't find anything that I would knock this location for. It is managed very well! Tonight this place was a resl waste of money. Since not busy, they dont care about appearances or filling anything. Should have asjed for refund. Had to ask for hot chicken. 11.99 for 3 pieces of chicken and a scoop of lukewarm mashed potatoes is not worth it. Even salad bar and the 3 or pizzas looked old and sad. Pizza Ranch. What can you say? Pizza is tasty. You can request a special pie when you enter. There are plenty to choose from. The salad bar is adequate. There is also a buffet offering fried chicken. Prices are good, (2 for $21.00) it's a buffet that is stocked with any pizza u request, roasted chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans, corn and a salad bar. Not to mention the soft serve ice cream and dessert pizza. I have found the staff to be friendly and willing to go Above and beyond to make my meal pleasurable. Yay, Pizza Ranch is getting closer to Milwaukee. This one seemed very similar to the one we ran across in Eau Claire, except without the manager guy involving himself in everything. It was well-done, reasonably inexpensive, the pizza was pretty fresh (but possibly a little overdone - something to avoid if you're going to put them out on a buffet under heat lamps), and the place was very clean and neat. As usual, the salad bar was also well-maintained. Their Cactus bread is great, I suggest trying it. read more

Pizza Ranch is a different kind of pizza joint. Like most other pizza buffets, they feature a wide array of pizza (all thin crust), as well as breadsticks, garlic bread, some pasta and if you would like a pizza made special for you just be sure to ask when you are paying for your pizza. They also feature a dessert bar with fruit flavored pizzas as well as pudding and an ice cream machine. But what makes Pizza Ranch different from places like Ci-Ci's, Pizza Hut, Godfathers...ect... is the Chicken Buffet! included in your price of the buffet, you get all previously mentioned items PLUS as much Broasted chicken as you like! Also featured on the chicken bar is green bean casserole, potato wedges, home made style potato chips, mashed potatoes and gravy, and a variety of vegatables. Now you might not as impressed as I am that they feature a chicken buffet, but to begin with, the chicken is usually very hot and is always VERY moist (most likely due to the broasting). But really, you can't go wrong with it, its FREE with the pizza buffet. And with buffets, you can be as picky as you want. Try something new, if you don't like it after the first bite, toss it and off to the next item. A couple special features of note about this particular Pizza Ranch's (as I cannot verify with others, so it may be normal) The price of your drink and buffet is a little over $10. But if you come after 9pm, they shut down the chicken buffet and you just get the pizza buffet, but the price drops to $5.75. Also children under the age of 11 I think are charged by their age. If I recall correctly $.80 per year is what they charge. We had a few special requests that the Manager took care of personally and made us feel as tho nothing was too much to ask for. I am not a fan of their pizza. The crust has a strange texture to it and the sauce is bland. I do have to admit that I do kind of like the Buffalo Chicken Pizza, but the rest is "meh". Their broasted chicken isn't too bad, when it hasn't been over cooked. My husband and I LOVE Pizza Ranch and like to come right when they open at 11 am. All the pans are filled to the brim with mashed potatoes, potato wedges, stuffing, gravy, corn or green beans and some other surprise entrees. The chicken is the best in town! The PIZZA is the star though, an assortment at all times are displayed, all fresh and hot. You can also order your own kind of pizza and they bring it to your table. Did I mention the delicious dessert pizzas? Out of this world! There's a real neat guy named Bob who works at the Fond du Lac place. He's so efficient and so friendly that P. They will not honor substitutions even after they already did. We ordered last week got their ranch chips instead of mash potatoes, but when tried to order tonight, they wouldn't allow it. They can't do it one time then deny it the next time. That is a sure way to loose customers. We will not eat there again. And shame for them because I have a large family and when they would visit, Pizza Ranch is where we went. Now we will go somewhere else. read more

I usually like pizza ranch. We frequent the one in Sheboygan mostly. Coming home from our north woods cottage we decided to try the one in FDL. Apparently on the wrong day. The chicken was dry and over done, all the potato items were nearly empty and the little that was there seemed to have been sitting for some time. Even the corn was down to practically nothing. The server informed us that they would fill everything up right away. They did not...when they finally brought out the potato items there was no chicken. We waited a long time for the pizza the waitress said they would make for us and when it finally arrived it was burnt so badly it was inedible, yet the waitress served it to us and even put the rest out on the buffet. Had it been the first time we visited a pizza ranch it would have been the last. Not sure if we will stop in FDL again. Bad experience and bad food. read more

Not very good. I only go here because it is what my grandmother chooses, but Everytime I've come in the chicken is always dry and only a few breasts are left. The potato items are always wiped clean and not refilled. The two soups are always the same, they never change the type. The salad bar is boring and never changes, most items are premade and not made in house. The sodas taste flat, the other day I got cola that was green. The pizza is okay, average at best. Honestly I find myself picking a few small items and I leave hungry because most everything has been sitting out. Wouldn't recommend. read more

Tried several times to order online website kept crashing. Twenty minutes later I called the store to place my order. They informed me that the specials I saw online they could not honor. They took my order over the phone. When I picked up the order it was not correct they only placed half the order. I had to wait for the rest of the order to be cooked. Pizza Ranch surprised me. I wasn't expecting all of the chicken, potatoes and veggies on the buffet. I had a piece of buffalo chicken that was pretty tasty. They were very busy tonight, but the buffet was adequately stocked with pizza and all of the staff were friendly and helpful. The pizza wasn't stellar, but it wasn't bad either. The employees were so rude and condescending. We arrived at 730. They are open until 9. All the food on the buffet was old. Only 1 new pizza came out when we got there. They started to close the buffet down before 8 and turned all the heaters off. Even through 4 families came after 8. There was no warm food for them. They wouldn't make us any cactus bread when we asked at 810 because they were closing soon (at 9). The employees cared more about getting out before 9 then caring for the customers. When we left the manager and her employees made rude comments to us. It was very unprofessional and immature. Overall, I was extremely disappointed with my experience. I will not be returning to the FDL Pizza ranch every again. Not to mention the soda machines didn't have ice in one and some of the fountain drinks were empty. I have never heard of a restaurant closing from 2:30 to 4:30 pm . We got there about 2:10~2:15 and had to leave at 2:30 . $20.00 for some dried out & cold left over nasty pizza, 3 pieces of chicken that were cold and hard. Salad bar was real nasty looking. The waitress hands us 2 glasses. Didn't ask or tell us where the soda was, I said I don't drink soda and she gave me a blank look. She couldn't even say that had coffee that was old and cold. We called ahead for our group of 50 on a busy Friday night. They were well prepared for us and for the rest of the restaurants patrons. Hot food and pizza kept coming out of the kitchen to keep the buffet tables filled. Fish, chicken, pizza, potatoes...well everything that I tried... was hot, fresh, and delicious. Hard to to beat their blueberry dessert pizza topped with a bit of soft serve. The staff was attentive and smiling throughout our experience. One young server named Mariah was exceptional as she cleared used plates and cups while making sure that anything else we needed was taken care of. Very impressed! read more
