I finished working a little later tonight and received a recommendation from another guy who said I needed to stop in here tonight before I drove 75 min. home. I took his word and found this place. I ordered the hot beef sausage combo with chips, a pickle and a drink for $12. I've eaten at Portillo's, which is delicious, this sandwich might've been the best hot beef sausage sandwich I've ever had. I was the only one in the restaurant which is fine since it was late on a Saturday night. Our server was a friendly lady and we chatted while waiting for my food whic was made fresh, hot off the grill. I was going to eat on the way home but decided to stay and leave the restaurant in a more relaxed atmosphere. Terrific beef terrific sausage delicious I was you sauce and nice kettle chips to round out my meal. Well worth the visit I will return and I do recommend it. read more

I did an on-line order and thought it was a take and bake order. It turned out, it was not. They burned the first order so we waited 20 min. longer. No big deal. Then they gave us the wrong order completely. The correction was made. We got home and still had the wrong food. 2 out of 4 pizzas were wrong. When we went there to pick up what we thought were take and bakes, they couldn't find any order under our name at all. Then they found it. The pizza was not good. There is no option for jalapeno or banana peppers? I've never heard of that for ordering pizza. It also cost $25 more for the same order I would have placed at Eaton's, which is the best place for pizza in FDL in my opinion. Side note: I politely called and asked if Take and Bake was an option. The girl said it was. I said when I placed my on-line order I thought it was take and bake for pick up, but you guys baked the pizzas. I asked if I did the order wrong or missed something. Her response: if you really want to get what you want it's best to call. My thoughts: then why have on-line ordering? Was hoping for another good pizza option in FDL, but was let down with Ang & Eddie. Ordered a 16" sausage & mushroom hand tossed. The crust was easily the worst part about this pizza. I assume they make their crusts in house (I have no idea) but it had the taste and texture of a frozen crust. Not counting known frozen crusts, this is easily one of the worst crusts I've ever eaten. The pizza was slightly undercooked, and I'm not sure if that's part of what's throwing me off. I would probably go back and try a thin crust and the Chicago. The sauce is more on the bland side, but it does have its moments where the sweetness shines. This sauce definitely could use some seasoning. Staff was kind and helpful. read more

I love pizza in all it's shapes and forms and I definitely have a soft spot for Chicago style Deep Dish. There have been places in the area doing deep dish, but they all seem to miss the mark somewhat, and none of them remind of the great deep dish I used to get in Chicago, that is until Ang & Eddie's. I love their deep dish, and that's what we get everytime we order from there, although I have had their Italian Beef also, which is great. Finally, there's a place in town that make's Chicago specialities just like they make in Chicago. The dining room is small, but cozy. I wish it were larger, especially in wintertime as when the front door opens it chills the whole place. But it is comfortable and cozy and the service is outstanding. My daughter likes to come by on Kid's nights (Thursday I think) as she can make her own pizza and they give her a lump of dough and quick lesson in how to throw pizza dough. read more

Sorry folks. I grew up around Chicago. I keep hoping some one outside the Chicago area can make a real Chicago pie. I ordered a 12 inch Chicago style sausage and mushroom. The fillings were ok, but once again the all-important crust was nothing like the flaky, slightly crunchy Chicago crust you get at Pizzeria Due, Gino's East, or Pizzeria Uno. Ang and Eddie's Chicago attempt is soft and bready. Also it seems to be a stuffed version with a nearly raw layer of very thin dough between the sauce on top and the cheese below. That said, the Italian beef and sausage combo sandwich was very good, though the sausage wasn't chargrilled. So I'd stick to the sandwiches and don't bother with their deep dish. read more

I've had Chicago Style pizza in Chicago many times. And this is the real deal right here in NE Wisconsin! Their pizza is amazing and the price is too! I mean, $16.95 for a large Chicago Style pizza is a steal. The pizza felt like it weighed about 10lbs! This restaurant is an hour drive from me, but I will definitely be going back to get some more of their awesome pizza. read more

I ordered from here, food was o.k. althought he hand tossed crust kind of sucked, it was very doughy, undercooked. When I ordered I asked specifically if they delivered from their restaurant, not using a 3rd person service. I was told "yes" we deliver. I told the girl who took the order we don't like using Eat Street or whatever that other one is. She just laughed and said o.k. , ugh, sad. Then the food shows up, in an unmarked vehicle, clearly not owned by Ang and Eddies, I almost told him to take it back. Should have. We want delivery done BY THE OWNER OF THE ESTABLISHMENT. I won't order for delivery from them again because we found out they actually lied when answering my question, had we known, we would have picked the food up ourselves. Great pizza and Great service The wife and I stopped in to check the place out. It's a small place everyone was super friendly. We ordered our pizza and waited about 30 min for a deep dish pizza it was one of the best I have ever had. One more thing for as busy as they were we had plenty of personal service we even got to speak with Eddie two or three times. At the end of our time there we ordered two pieces of chocolate cake to go but they had just sold the last two pieces. So Ang felt so bad about that she went and quickly frosted up another cake she had made I believe was for the next day just so we had two pieces to take home. I'm front out of town and you can tell around here. I travel quite a bit and always try and hit somewhere local vs. a 'GASP' Chain. Ang & Eddie's fits the bill perfectly. Walked in on a quite Wednesday night and there wasn't many people inside which is a shame. Nice waitress shows me a seat and hands me a menu. I really wanted the pizza, really but I didn't have the time that it takes to do it right so I went with the Italian Beef sandwich sweet peppers, and cheese. I went with it "wet" also, because who doesn't like a wet Italian Beef sandwich? Chips and a pickle finished it off. The sandwich was, to put it bluntly....DELICIOUS!!! Tasty beef, thick layer of high quality cheese, tasty sweet peppers and a nicely seasoned au jus. Very nice. The owner Eddie stopped by to speak to me and we talked about the difference between quantity and quality. Let it be known that he does not lower his quality by buying cheap ingredients and it shows in the finished product. Support this local restaurant, people. You'll be glad you did! read more

My husband has been looking for a pizza place that reminded him of home for 14 years. Ang and Eddie's is that place. We had the Garlic Bread with Cheese, the Chicago-Style pan pepperoni and the kids calzone. In addition we tried on of the Chicago-Style hot dogs. Everything tasted wonderful and the portions great. If the kids calzone was a smaller version of the regular calzone, I don't know how someone would be able to finish it. The kids calzone was big. The Chicago pizza was just like it should be. A great flaky crust and a tomato sauce that was seasoned just right. None of that tomato paste sauce that lots of places use. And if you like cheese, you will get cheese. We also tried the Chicago hot dog, just so we would know what it was like. I would have thought that I had gotten it right off of a vendor cart in downtown Chicago. Just wonderful. On top of the great food, they had great service. Everyone there was very friendly. On Thursday's kids can get to throw their own pizza dough. We were there on a Saturday,and it was slow at the time. One of the kitchen staff came out and asked if our son would like to do it. With all of that, the prices are good too. You can get a personal Chicago pan for under $8 and a large for under $18 (a little bit more after you add additional toppings). Kids meals were all under $4. No doubt about it, we will be going back to Ang and Eddie's again. read more

Simply the best Chicago style pizza anywhere near here. It would be 5 stars, but I've had pizza from some of the best places in Chicago, and while their pizza is very good, it's not the best. The Italian beef is also very good, but I ordered it wet and it was definitely a dry beef sandwich, but still very tasty. For the money there isn't a better place in town to get a pizza. read more

A fond du lac GEM. The calzones are my absolute favorite, though I do spruce mine up with the addition of ricotta cheese...which the kitchen has no problem accommodating. There are very few places in FDL that I believe to serve quality food. Ang & Eddies is one of them and always has been! Authentic to Chicago cuisine (coming from a former Chicago inhabitant), Ang & Eddie know how to make some pizza, chi-dogs, Italian beefs, and more! Quaint venue, though I usually order take-out since it can get a little noisy for my liking when busy. Also, they offer fun activities for kids like pizza making and dough-tossing.
