I highly recommend coming to Pizza Rays. In my opinion, it is the best pizza in Port Orange and tastes so similar to authentic New York pizza. The 16" pie I ordered was half pepperoni and cheese which is $18. I got 2 chocolate chip cookies for $3 and a diet coke. I paid $26 for everything. The ambience is amazing because the music isn't too loud and the vibe overall is just perfect. The service was exceptional and they made me feel like I was family. The owner was super sweet and very personable! Awesome service he made everything fresh right there. We got cheesesteaks, a cheese burger and fries they were phenomenal! Went here July 11 2025 The place has been open for a few weeks and I finally decided to try it out. Oddly they seem to only have one size pizza. It came out to $17 or $18 with mushrooms and onions. The pizza was a bit tough to cut and eat which means most likely old dough or it was reheated from frozen. I was not impressed. The taste was also lacking. They do have many more things on the menu which I may try something else in the future. I will say this however. The owners are very nice people and the place is extremely clean and in a good location next to the Doghouse Bar. I wish them success but until they get the pizza straight it won't be my first choice. read more

We did takeout on opening night. I have not been in the store so I can only comment on the food. Personally I wasn't thrilled. French fries were string. So were the onion rings. The sausage and peppers and onions had no onions, on a soft torpedo roll . The sausage was scrambled?! The roast beef sandwich didn't have anything on it but a soft roll. Her bbq chicken sandwich was pulled chicken on a soft roll, no flavor of bbq.. My friend went to get the food said they were very nice. It was opening night so I'll give them a break. The service was as good as one could expect with one person working the establishment at noon. Four gentlemen walked in just before myself... they placed their order of sandwiches and pizza slices.. Then I placed my order for a Hawaiian pizza.......waiting and waiting but hey it's from scratch so I expected at least 25 minutes. She got the four gentlemen their order then started on my pizza. Finnally the pizza was ready.. boxed and out the door. Got home 6 minutes later to find a thin crust pizza... with limited amounts of pineapple and ham.... and where's the red sauce. No red sauce just cheese ... Friends and I tired to eat the pizza, but none of us enjoy this meal. Let me say I'm from New England and was looking forward to a "New England Style" pizza. Actually saw the write up and was excited to have pizza from home. The pizza parlor was clean, organized very inviting and if the meal had been worth getting I would go back. But to spend over $20.. for a pizza that wasn't delicious or edible. .. I'd be hard press to make the trip over again. Give this place a try! It may look small, but it is mighty in freshness, flavor and hospitality! We are locals and have visited this place twice now in the last two weeks. The food is amazingly delicious. I had a roast beef sandwich with Au Jus. The beef was tender, zero fat, nicely sliced, melt in your mouth. Au Jus was tasteful but not overbearing or salty. We split a meatball parmigiano sub. Bread perfect freshness and the sauce was a welcomed delight. If it's not moms' sauce, then it can't be good.... however, this was a close second! Hubby had a tuna sandwich which he shared he would definitely get again. The fries that accompanied the meal were delicious as well. I will suggest take out during this time of year. The quaint, small establishment is rather warm to eat indoors due to the intimate size of the place. Highly recommended to try this place! Just brought home a pie and some onion rings. Both practically inedible. Our jaws are still hurting from trying to chew the pizza. Other reviews must be right. Maybe old dough maybe? But then again, there is no good pizza in the area. This is just the worse one I've had. The onion rings besides being extremely soggy were not good at all. We put them in the air fryer which did crisp them up but the bad taste remained. Come on guys, you advertise how good you are yet you're just like everyone else in the area. If you want a frozen pizza or you'd be better off more flavor than that hardly any ingredients I would say it's not worth the the money

i've tried this place twice since they first I had their pizza. The taste was OK, but there was no volume. The pizza was thin as a sheet of paper. then yesterday I tried it and I ordered the meatball sub. I have never had a meatball sub that did not have meatballs in it. This had meat and I don't know maybe marinara sauce and cheese. I call it the canned dog food sub I will never go back here again. This place sucks read more

I love the fact that they have breakfast pizza and breakfast calzones. This is something you won't find anywhere else in central Florida. The owners are absolutely lovely people. I actually drove up from Orlando in order to have breakfast pizza and I was not disappointed. read more
