Bad on many levels. I'll start with the 1 time I ate there, the pizza was, just fine, nothing spectacular. I wouldn't consider this to be New York Pizza at all. But moving on to the immediate more important issue for people who do delivery for them. So I have done close to a dozen doordash deliveries for them and (tldr they use doordash as a third-party for their deliverys and do not inform customers of this, and any tips left during the initial payment during the 3rd party order goes to Bronx Pizza House, Not the doordash driver). They act like you aren't even there have the time when you are picking up, put either false estimates to make it seem like there food is either almost done or is done and is infact not. One of my longest waits was over 35 minutes, and the estimated wait should have been less than 3 minutes upon parking and entering the restaurant. Most (not all) of the employees act annoyed at doordash drivers, I've witnessed this via myself and other drivers. On several occasions upon having to ask is the food almost ready despite being told it is almost done, have just been out right ignored or irritated that I was even asking. Easily the Worst place in the Port Orange area for Doordash Drivers when it comes to interaction with employees and treatment from them. No place is even remotely this consistent at it, along with lowkey robbing tips from doordash drivers. For those who don't know, doordash has an estimated time for pick up and delivery, and whole you can make an excuse as to why it's taking so long, it's still money Not being made. Having to wait 45 minutes to make $5, because again 8 outta 10 times the client did not realize that I was doordash and assumed that Bronx Pizza had their own driver's often meant zero tip. They've tried to remedy that in asking if they can leave a tip in the app, but since its 3rd party all mobile tips go to Bronx, not the deliverer. I'm without a doubt sure Bronx is aware of this. They are also fairly snooty but that's to go without saying with how rude many of the workers are there, again not all, but most have been, also more than once I've heard and seen the waitresses talk about how much they've made in tips and count the physical tip money at the front coutner. That is just very unprofessional. I'm sure plenty of people defend this place do to likely either knowing the owners or being involved with whatever nonsense is going on behind the scenes at this place. They boast about being and winning all kinds of best Pizza place contests and what not, but I'd rather eat Domino's than this place. read more

Second time eating here; first time eating inside the restaurant. The pizza is delicious. Excellent dough, great sauce and fresh ingredients. Really loved the pizza. The ricotta cheese and fig appetizer was excellent also. We enjoyed the service and the place is very nice inside. My only small issue was that I didn't think the house salad dressing was very good. (Sorry). I look forward to trying some other dishes next time I go. read more

It is incomprehensible that a Pizza House would run out of bread on a Saturday. I asked for one garlic knot to use on the remainder of the sauce in my plate. I was told it wasn't possible because of the inability to ring it up. I was disappointed to say the least. The food is actually great. Seemed like better quality back then and less flop, now kind of soggy, few places keep their original recipe, quality and passion, seems just the way it always is, when places grow and expand rent costs, ingredients inflation etc. first McDonald's from what I understand was phenomenal. It would seem it's under a new ownership although they might say otherwise, a new partner, or investor spent a lot of money on the new store look and trying to be upscale, comes at a cost to cut costs & when you lose sight of your original vision. By far the best pizza I have had in Florida. I spent summers in NYC as a kid and feel deeply in love with their pizza slice places... they just hit different. Bronx house is as close as I have found in the south. They use the best mozzarella called "Grande". Very pricey but worth it very cent. The sauce and dough are also excellent. This is a great pizza restaurant, my first visit here and definitely not my last, the food is amazing and the service is everything I hoped it would be. Anna our server greeted us immediately after we were seated, she quickly dropped off a few menus and took our drink orders and was very attentive throughout our visit. The restaurant was mostly filled and there were a few customers on the patio and a steady stream of take out customers, after taking a few bites I understand why - the pizza is perfect, the crusted is cooked perfectly and has that chew that I absolutely crave - the toppings are of very high quality and the cheese stretches from the pan to your mouth and the sauce is perfectly balanced. I had the pleasure of first trying Bronx house in Lake Mary. Literally everything we ate (it was a lot) was delicious. So, I was SUPER excited to see one in Port Orange...unfortunately for me it didn't taste as good as the first time that I had it. Today I wanted the appetizer that I loved the most and that was the fried ravioli. These were just okay. They were warm. The marinara wasn't as flavorful as I had the first time but it was still okay. I'll comeback to try the meatballs and pizza another time. Hopefully my review score improves but this. This pie was so soggy with grease the dough was mush. The pepperoni has puddles of grease. This wouldn't be considered drunk pizza. November 12 2024 Tried this place for the first time this past week and I have to say it was pretty darn good. I got a small pie with mushrooms and onions. While it does not quite measure up to genuine Bronx NYC pizza (which I have had while visiting NYC) it is pretty good! The employees here are very friendly and the place has an industrial type look to it. The place is very clean and well kept. I guess they are doing quite well because they are moving a few doors down to a bigger location. With that said I recommend this establishment and I will be back to order something else off the menu and of course more pizza. read more

Terrible customer service. Placed an order for delivery - was told 40-45 minutes for delivery. I waited roughly 75 minutes, then called the restaurant to get some clarity. I was given nothing but excuses. All told, it was almost two hours between ordering the pizza and delivery. In the old days, it was on-time or it was free.
