We have gotten food here many times in the past because food was good and not overpriced. Tonight I got a Chicken cheese steak and two Italian hoagies. The steak was ok but the hoagies were as horrible as they could be. They were flooded with oil so everything slid out of the roll, the meat was on the top of the LTO, there was also bologna on it, I guess there's a first for everything. Now the best part there was a dead FLY on the meat. I also ordered fries and got a paper boat that was not even half way filled for $6.95. I seem to think it's new ownership because I didn't recognize anyone. Save your money go elsewhere. I threw the food out. read more

Was so excited to try this place since they're one of the only places open a bit later and because the reviews seem good! It seems like it's under new ownership? This place was empty with what looked like only two people working. Everything inside seems a bit dated, but spacious. Not sure if that's the case but the sign out front looked new and different. I ordered a cheesesteak, mozz sticks, and pizza. Just got a plain pizza and that was good! Nice crust and the cheese and sauce had a nice taste. The mozz sticks were okay. Unfortunately the breading tasted like absolutely nothing and they were under done for sure or had been sitting. They looked homemade so I was excited but was left very underwhelmed. The marinara they served it with was also cold and chunky and did not taste very good. Not the same as the pizza sauce it seems. The thing that really lost me was the cheesesteak. It just tasted very off? Almost sweet? The meat was lacking and it was so minced up it almost reminded me more of a ground beef than ribeye. Barely any cheese on it. Tasty food but super skimpy on the steak meat and the roll was very short. $20 bucks for barely any steak and short roll.

Once again, I find myself driving along the garden state parkway in the middle of "where the hell am I" New Jersey, though a different section than last time. On my way back to the airport to escape, but in need of some wonderful pizza gluten bloating. You see, those of us gluten intolerant, by not allergic, will suffer the discomfort for real NY pizza, or close enough. As with the place I stopped at on my way south from Newark airport the day prior, I cannot tell you if this is the best pizza in south bumble**** NJ. I cannot tell you how it compares to other pizza in the area. What I can tell you is that as a NYer transplanted to FL, this was better than anything in FL. And that's all that mattered. Should I ever find myself lost near the jersey shore again, I will come back here...or really, I'll just go to any pizza place, cause it's pizza in NY/NJ and not the dog**** in Florida. read more

Got the cheesesteak tonight and it was really good (coming from a former Philly gal)! I'd say it's second to Sandwich Bar in OC. Fries were crispy and the onion rings as well. The rings had a nice light batter. They are my go-to pizza spot! read more

Ordered for first time and was excited that they delivered to ocean city. Got a large pizza with half pepperoni, steak sandwich, sausage, peppers and onion. Liked everything we got. The pizza dough was very good with a good chew to it. A little heavy on the cheese and a little light on the pepperoni but overall good. Daughter liked the steak sandwich and the sausage sandwich was overstuffed. Next time I would order that with a little sauce. Will return read more

First timer here. We ordered pizza and a grilled chicken Cesar salad. Everything was delicious! I also have to give a shout out to the young lady behind the counter. She was wearing a mask, but could still tell she greeted me with a smile by her eyes. Wearing masks make it harder to communicate, but it's clear these a friendly folks who are trying hard to keep their customers happy. And for that, I will return no doubt! read more

Very much enjoyed the 2 pizzas we ordered here. Summer resident of OCNJ for 15 summers and searching for the perfect pie (YES; we've expanded our search to OFF Island). Tonight, the search may have ended. Crispy, flavorful crust. Sauce that was seasoned just right; not too sweet, not too salty. Cheese to sauce ratio was balanced. Staff friendly and prices reasonable. Will definitely try again I'm always skeptical about "beginners luck" but for now this Goldilocks found everything with her order JUST RIGHT!!! read more

Last week they didn't have my pizza when I got there. Somehow the order never made it to the cook. So I sat in my car for 25 minutes waiting for the pizza. I barely got an apology. This week the pizza was ready when I got there. However, it wasn't completely baked, gooey crust and the cheese was minuscule . I realize it's under new ownership but they need to improve. I'll go elsewhere for at least the near future. Hopefully they improve. read more

First time ordering from this place. We got a cheesesteak Stromboli with onions, chicken cheesesteak and mozzarella sticks. The Stromboli was really good, the dough was great and the cheese was quality. The roll for the chicken cheesesteak was to much. Easy fix, add more meat and cheese or get a philly roll. Overall I would eat here again. Maybe try a hoagie next time to see how that turns out. But the Stromboli was good. Price was ok a little high for a pizza place but it's at the shore so it's expected. read more

Very good pizza. The owner Joe is an amazing guy who came from NY so making NY style pizza and does it very well. Very tasty sauce and the best crust, slightly crispy but chewy as well. We got to talking since I am originally from NY and he ended up bringing a slice for me to try of his basil pizza, no charge. He said he may retire soon so pay this great guy and his tasty pizza a visit before he does. They also have decent lunch special, 2 slices and soda for @$4. read more

Pepe makes some of the best pizza around. Subs aren't bad either. Don't sleep on this place!

This place has the best pizza and sandwiches at very reasonable prices. I used to eat there as a kid when they were at a different location and just recently went back and the quality has stayed the same. When I ordered on the phone the guy wasn't very polite but whatever their food is awesome. They mainly do take out business cause I never see anyone actually eat in the place even though there is a good amount of tables. Try the chicken fresco sandwiches and the magarita pizza is bangorang. read more

Ordered food from here with my family. The menu doesn't have much on it that caught my eye and I opted for the tuna hoagie. The tuna was salty and extremely fishy, unlike any I had had before. The pizza is okay, based on the fact the two men of the group devoured a whole pie. One in our party ordered their chefs salad and asked for Italian dressing, what she received was balsamic vinaigrette. Finally, my cousin ordered a burger (yes I know it's a predominantly pizza place.) however there was no reason for his burger to come on pita bread. Best pizza place in the area and don't be fooled, not just pizza at this spot. Wings, Strombolis, sandwiches... A full service locale. Try the white with broccoli and ricotta or the house our for a real treat. Eat in, take out or delivery these guys are the best! read more

I just paid $9.75 ($1 more than the menu stated) for a take out order of Insalata Modenese. Maybe I should have called ahead and asked what was in it (the name "Modenese" inspiring dreams of Parmigiano-Reggiano). But for $9.75, I got romaine lettuce, four quarters of tomato and a balsamic vinaigrette. Wrapped in aluminum foil and leaking grease all over my car, then clothes, then desk at work before I noticed it, was marinated chicken strips. So. If you like tremendous food - (They make a fantastic veggie and white pizza!) and don't care how you are treated as a customer, then head on out to the Pizza Station. BUT, if you hate to be treated like dog $#&@, and spoken to discourteously, then stay away from the Pizza Station. In my last two visits, I have never seen more miserable people working in a pizza shop then at the Pizza Station!! No one smiles! No one seems happy at their job! I phoned in my pizza order well in advance and when I showed up 40 minutes later, the pizza still wasn't done and NO ONE even bothered to speak to me, say there was a problem, or even apologize for the delay. Instead, I was treated rudely when asked about the pizza. All they had to admit was that the order was misplaced. Instead, I received a rant from the always tense 30 something pizza preparer. I can't print here what he said to me; a customer. I will NEVER go here again, because of the simply miserable attitude of both workers behind the counter. The sandwich maker is no more cheerful or helpful. The owner, a wonderful man, has let this situation get out of control and if not careful, he will lose customers over time. There are other great choices in the area where you a greeted with a smile and gratitude that you came to their establishment; Momma Mia's in Acme plaza is just one!
