Not from the area so when I did a Google search, this came up as one of the better options so I figured I would give it a try. As soon as I exited my car, the first sign that I seen multiple times on the windows of the business was that it's cash only. Now they do have a ATM machine inside so they can capitalize but fortunately I did have a couple dollars in my car and I was able to go inside. Upon entering there were two ladies, one greeted me and I chose to sit at the counter because I had limited time and I wanted to Get in and out as fast as possible. When I sat down, I asked one of the girls (the one that just stared at me and did not greet me) for menu and she told me to give her a minute. I didn't understand why because the menus were right next to her, but I guess she wanted to finish what she was doing which was totaling the check For another table. A little awkward but regardless, I waited a couple minutes and finally got a menu. Luckily for me, she was not the waitress that was going to be serving me. A couple minutes later the other girl came out of the kitchen and took my order. She recommended the hashbrowns, which were very good. I ordered eggs, toast, and scrapple. To my surprise, the scrapple was fried very well and was probably one of the thinnest pieces of scrapple I've ever seen in my life. Kind of makes sense because the breakfast was 995 so it's a special but I'm assuming it's a smaller piece than you would normally get if you ordered à la carte but again I can't verify this 100% since it was my first time. Overall, the place is very nice and clean. One out of the two waitresses was very pleasant. One of my biggest pet peeves is when you go into any establishment and you can hear the staff complaining and it just doesn't make any sense to me because there's customers that are listening. The same customers that you could be waiting on showing off your customer service skills and actually earning tips. Upon leaving, I seen another sign which was that an automatic gratuity of 15% would be added to take out orders over $50. That is something I just will not ever understand. So you have people that actually want to enjoy your food, but maybe they necessarily don't like your service or they don't like to be out in public. Why are you charging them to bring you revenue? Regardless, even if I'm back in the area, I most likely will not go back here read more

Don't go here!!! This was our first and last time here. Today, my wife and I ordered breakfast and were told that there was no charge to substitute tomatoes for home fries. When we got the check, we were charged extra for the tomatoes. This place is probably my favorite breakfast place at the shore. It's near the bridge to OCNJ and is tucked away in a shopping center near Shoprite. Let me start by saying, the breakfast was all cooked to perfection and is homemade. I got the pancake, and a two egg, corned beef hash, and Texas style toast platter. The eggs were perfectly cooked "dippy style" and the Texas toast In them was divine. The corned beef hash is homemade. It's BETTER than the traditional canned kind most diners sell. It's actually BETTER! Get it, you won't be disappointed. The pancake was PERFECTION. It absorbed the syrup perfectly and still tasted cooked with the slight crisp. My server (I didn't catch her name but she had clear framed glasses and short hair) was super sweet and very attentive. The ONLY reason this didn't get a 5* review is because it's cash only. We are in 2021 people.. take cards/venmo/PayPal/any digital currency. Again, take cards and it bumps to a 5*.. otherwise food and service and cleanliness is OUTSTANDING. What a great place! We went on a Wednesday morning. Great parking, clean, homey and friendly breakfast place. The servers are all smiles, greeted us immediately and seated us. Hot, fresh coffee was quickly served. The menu is not overwhelming, easy to see that all items are fresh and made to order. My wife is a creamed dried beef fanatic and she said it is the best she has ever had. I had the Jersey Devil omelet and it was spectacular!
