A welcome addition to the area. Excellent pizza starts with excellent dough. Don't know what they do to get it that way. It's thick but light and airy and edges are crispy like a Detroit style pizza. Sauce is very good and pepperoni had just a hint of a kick to it as it should be. We got half pepperoni and half plain. Neither my wife or I had anything negative to say. There's a reason this is the #2 top pizza place at the jersey shore according to nj.com & wow their pizza is incredible! I'm so lucky to have it close by my home! After 2 visits, I'm a huge fan! They specialize in Sicilian style pan pizza but their menu changes and sometimes they'll offer other options which I love. To ensure you get what you want, you'll want to place an order on their website or give them a call to reserve a pick up time since they can only do so many pizzas at once. I've had the Vodka-Roni & the Bellucci & both were fantastic!! They're both pepperoni with the addition of vodka sauce except the Bellucci also has burrata and black truffle oil. It's a flavor explosion and not for someone who prefers bland food. If you want a basic pie, this ain't it. The pizza's are rich & delicious & made with premium ingredients so you're not coming here for a cheap eat. It ranges from $30-42 for a pizza, but it's worth it! The space is located on New Jersey Ave in Somers point off of shore road with street parking and limited seating. They also have slices for sale if you want to just pop in & you can BYOB too. First time trying S&F while over in OCNJ for vacation. You'll find this tiny little gem right next to another favorite spot, Charlie's Bar. I'll get to the pizza in a second, but my first tip is to plan ahead - for two reasons. First they make everything fresh and it's a small place so ordering times can be lengthy. You have to choose an available time slo so there aren't any surprises. We ordered at 5:45ish and pick up time was 6:40 to five an idea. Second, the street they are located on has minimal parking so you'll need to search around a little, it's ok to walk a little to get your pie. Ok, as for the pizza, it was amazing. I would describe it as Detroit style pizza. Square pan-baked with crispy edges. The pizza is thing but the dough was amazingly light and airy. That being said, these are decadent pizzas. No more than one or two slices max! We had the Bellucci pie which has a vodka sauce base, with pepperoni, fresh basil leaves (picked fresh at the front counter), truffle oil, and burrata! So this is another highly recommended just plan ahead! Also, if you are on the island and don't want to drive off island there is another awesome Detroit style pie at Bakeria 1010. read more

The crew at S&F do pizza right. Everyone loves pizza and everyone has a favorite style of pizza. I can say that when I worked at Pizza Hut I loved the thin crust pie because it was more topping heavy. Obviously S&F has a Sicilian style of pizza but the dough is soooo perfect! It's not heavy and firm it's delightfully soft and pillowy and evidence that they use only the best ingredients. So many haters will mock the price but let me tell you, it's worth every penny! Every slice is like a meal and one pie is easily the same as two pies or more of your fav boardwalk pie. Crispy charred on the edges for more flavor and just a very well executed Sicilian pie. Glad to see he's stated experimenting with other toppings too! Can't wait for the pineapple, red onion, balsamic, and shaved ham pie! read more

Exceptional!! Recently drove past their storefront discovering Squares & Fares and became intrigued. Seeing the pics on their website, the pizza was a must-try. Ordered the original to get introduced to S&F and it did not disappoint. Looked like a grandma pie via Detroit and somehow the crust was light, slightly crispy, and toothsome all at once, quite a feat. Tomato sauce had delicious tang with a pop of Parmesan, perfect cheese/sauce ratio too. The cheese, also fresh, was enough to hold everything together, not too much, not too little. Absolutely loved our pizza at Squares & Fare!! We were on vacation in OCNJ and came across their pizzas on Instagram, and knew we HAD to try them. Every pie is treated like a work of art. The crust is flaky and delicious, and the dough is soft but still has some bite to it. The workers are extremely friendly and went out of their way to make sure we fully enjoyed our meal! Squares & Fares my beloved. I think their traditional pie is the best plain pizza you can find in the area. But getting it half and half with vodka sauce is as good as pizza can get. I don't think you can go wrong anywhere on this menu. I've had awful days that were single-handedly turned around by the pizzas that are served at this establishment. They make some of the best, most consistently delicious food I've ever tried. Also, every person I've interacted with behind the counter has been super nice. It's lovely inside too, especially when it's a chilly out. The place isn't enormous, so if you're planning on getting takeout during peak hours, send a person who doesn't mind standing while they wait for pizza. The seating that they do have is wonderful, there just isn't a ton of it. Last thing I'll say is that I find their ordering system really cool, it's unusual but it seems like it helps them run a great operation all around. Will definitely keep coming back here read more

First time customer.... Excellent! From start to finish. The owner was very friendly along with the person working the front. The food was spot on, not cheap, but well worth it. It shows in the end product. We got 1/2 spinach and 1/2 pepperoni with vodka sauce (owner recommended it even though it wasn't on the menu). Really great. I would highly recommend trying. The place is small with a few tables and you can buy slices if you like. We took ours home and have leftovers for later. Really a nice surprise. We'll be back to try some of the others. read more

Once word gets out to Ocean City and Longport that this place has awesome gourmet pizza it's going to be hard to get in. The menu is small but the pizza is outstanding. They make it easy to order online at designated pickup times. We ate at the restaurant but seating was limited. We sat right down on a Tuesday night but I wouldn't expect much space on the weekends or during the summer. The staff was very nice and allowed us to taste test other sauces and cheese while we waited for our pizza. read more

My first time there I've heard so many things about the place! Let's start with a positive. The crust is absolutely delicious. Light crispy not overcooked great crunch just delicious. Their sauce is non-descriptive. It's almost like it's just Tomatoes (granted they're good quality tomatoes) but there's absolutely no flavor no seasoning whatsoever in the tomatoes basically just flat. Their cheese is very good. It's not over oily and it definitely complements the pie. The shame of it all is they have all the right ingredients, but somehow they forgot to season their tomato sauce. I asked for Parmesan cheese and crushed red pepper to go with my order. They had to grate the cheese à la Minute. and had no Crush red pepper at all. Not packets he told me they didn't have Crush red pepper in the house. The Sicilian style pizza is 100% about the crust. What a shame they can't figure out the sauce. It's on the expensive side and they work a system of timeslots when those timeslots are gone that's what they do for the day. I don't think I'll go back. After hearing so many positive things about their pizza, I was a little disappointed. read more

However if you want a thick crust Sicilian style pizza this is the best I've had in the area.
