While I love the wings here, my last two to go orders have been wrong. The first was during the Super Bowl, which I received a credit for. Tonight I went back to have a beer, and get food to go. To my surprise they screwed up my order again (on two different things). I tipped on the food as though I ate there, & they still screwed it up. I really like the pizza here. I've gotten the personal pizza a couple times and love how the crust is so puffy and chewy. Great flavor as well. The last time I had the meat lover's and they did not skimp on any of the meat! Being close to large corporate site, it's a nice spot to get a quick lunch or hang out at happy hour. I live within walking distance, but had only done pizza take-out (very good and definitely a step above a chain). I finally brought the kids in for a meal. First impression - nice cozy atmosphere (in a very old building), not too loud, plenty of parking. There IS a kids menu with a coloring graphic on the reverse, they provided a small pack of crayons. I wish they would post a photo online (I forgot to take a picture). It has the usual items, pasta, hot dogs, burgers, giant slice of pizza (we cut it in two), mac & cheese, and includes a drink for a very reasonable price. I got the roast beef grinder with the house chips. Very tasty and a large portion that was definitely too much for me to eat at one sitting. I brought half home. The three of us (1 adult, 2 kids) came in at just over $20 incl tip. Bottom Line - a great casual option that is much more than just pizza. read more

Solid lunch spot in the West Point area. A large variety of bar food that generally comes out quickly. Pizzas, burgers, sandwiches, wraps, wings, etc... Nothing mind blowing about this place, but you can definitely set your watch to it. Each week they have 5 lunch specials for $7.99, so that's what we tend to go with. Eh...I gotta 3-star this place because it's VERY small and can get very crowded very quickly. Yes, this happens to be another poker bar for me. Monday nights, if you will - so that's how I ended up here. Their food..pretty tasteless typical bar food. I only eat here if I'm really hungry or drunk ahead of time somehow. It's a bar & sit-in restaurant in 1 section & a pizza place in a seperate room. There's also a smokers bar upstairs where there's games & pool tables. Not too bad, but it's very hot & uncomfortable. Not sure how I feel about a place called Pizza Time that doesn't have very good tasting pizza. Luckily most of the other items on the menu are pretty good. My wife really likes their eggplant parm and I've had pretty good luck with their sandwiches and cheesesteaks. We usually get takeout but when we have dined-in, the service was attentive and good. They seem to run decent specials during the week. We've met-up with friends for happy hour or just to get out, and we don't have to break the bank to do it with some of their deals. This is the best pizza in the area. After taking home some pizza and devouring it like a pack of ravenous animals, we placed another order immediately because we are gluttons. We started off safe with cheese and pepperoni pizza, but the pizzas become more degenerate and delicious from there. Read full review: Pizza Time has been a favorite of mine for a while. I regularly meet coworkers there for dinner. They have a wide variety of items and always have various specials including an Early Bird deal. We have always had attentive and kind servers. The food has been good. Recently there was a hiccup though and I'm afraid it's put a bad taste in my mouth. I met friends for dinner and when finished ordered food to go. It was brought out in a sealed bag and I didn't even think to check it. I got all the way home to find only half of what I ordered. I called up and explained what happened. I didn't really get an apology and the guy was like "So what do you want me to do make another one?" So I said yes that would be great. I live over twenty minutes away and drove all the way back. When I entered I explained who I was. I was handed the food with no apology, no offer of a refund, no coupon or gift card, nothing. I'm sorry but I just don't think that's how a business should respond to a situation like this. The good outweighs the bad with this place still, but I'll be more critical in the future. read more

Looking for good food and good service...keep driving past this dump. Heard good things and bad about this place and decided to try it for the kids $1.99 night. We now know why it is kids eat for $1.99 because the food is worth $.50. The cook (can't be a chef) must have no taste buds or he is just smart enough to not eat his own cooking. New item on the menu "loaded macaroni and cheese". More like canned chicken in a crappy cheese whiz sauce. Outside of the crappy food was the horrible service. First the drapes on the Windows were filthy and the table was sticky. I asked the waiter (teenager who would better double as a lamppost, no wait lampposts do more than this kid) for a towel and he handed it to me to wipe off the table. Then he disappeared and would pop up every now and then, I think he may have gotten lost. We had to request refills and it really felt like we were bothering him. We were like one of 4 tables there and he was sharing wait duties can't imagine if they actually had customers. I can tell you one positive thing to take away from this greasy dump is I think we found a cure for constipation. Drive past this place and go to the Sumney right down the street. Remember if they can't clean the drapes imagine how well they clean your utensils and plates. read more

(Of course in a nice tone) Being disappointed by the beer selection, I ordered a Stella in tap. It was a little flat. (And what is up with a 100 IPAs on tap?? People do drink ales and lagers.) A margarita pizza has tomato sauce and fresh basil, neither of which could be found here. There was a disgusting amount of frozen melted mozzarella though. Everyone has a go to place when they come back and home and pizza time was my dad's go to, and has subsequently become my friends and my go to. Downstairs has ample bar space and dining area with lots of TVs for game time. Unfortunately, as of 6 months ago, they were not in HD...its 2012! The beer selection for bottles is decent, but I have to admit, their draft selection is underwhelming. I realize their crowd mainly gets their drank on to miller lite and yuengling, but throw a brother an IPA! Upstairs has a few pool tables and dart boards and someone is always playing music. Decent vibe, always fun meeting up with friends on a weekend. Their food is great. I love their pizza, their bar food is delicious, and it seems like they do everything fairly well. Unlike most bars, their food is good enough to come here just to eat. Love me some pizza time. read more

I really liked my dinner at this place. We came late with friends and several kids under the age of 6. The kids were provided coloring and crayons and spent most of the time drawing and sitting quietly. Since I am pregnant, I only looked enviously at my buddy's beer, but I saw many of my favorites on tap. I also watched longingly as a bunch of good looking cool people went upstairs to the sports bar which is 21 and up. My husband went one night to watch the game and said it's pretty nice. My meal was small but I enjoyed it. I had onion soup which was prepared perfect and crab fries with that delicious white cheese sauce. One of the kids ordered pizza and it looked great! Later in the week I ordered a large pizza from their take out restaurant and loved it! In my opinion it's the best pizza around. I gave it 4 stars because the food took a little too long to come out and my crab fried had a TON of seasoning dumped in the center and I had toss it myself. The food is pretty good, the service is quick. It's not noisy or crowded if you go off-peak, but it seems to be the go-to bar for Merck so it gets busy. On a lazy Saturday, we would sometimes go around 2 or 3 in the afternoon and gorge ourselves for a couple of hours. There always seems to be an occupant for every stool in the bar, even when the dining room only has two or three busy tables. Ironically, I've never actually tried their pizza. read more

I gotta be honest its kinda tough to find a good pizza in the lansdale area. Most of the pizza places are generic enough that their fare is rather forgettable and mediocre at best. Pizza time saloon offers one of the better pizzas ive had in a long time. Crust was thin flavorful and cooked just a bit well done(the way it should be). Sauce had a little zing to it and with right amount of cheese on it. Our family is pretty predictable on friday evening...its pizza and wings so of course we got an order of wings too. They have a large selection of wing flavors but we had the classic hot ones and like the pizza I would rate them above average. Now we only had the two items mention so I cant speak for the rest of the menu but I would.venture a guess that its solid. This place is bursting with friendly energy. The servers are very personable and knowledgeable. The menu is impressively extensive. Our group ordered several different entrees, including a pizza. Every entree was hot, fresh and downright delicious. The pizza was one of the best I've had in ages. The portions were very generous, and our server graciously gave us boxes to take home the rest. Had dinner here with the family this week. I split a salmon wrap and a personal pizza with a family member. The wrap was okay. I probably would not order it again though. I really enjoyed the pizza. It was a regular cheese pie with spinach. The only complaint I have is that the serving sizes are SMALL. The wrap was tiny and the personal pizza is overpriced for the size of it. Their fries are awesome though. They also have a 1.99 meal special for children on Thursdays. The kids enjoyed their food. Our waiter was friendly and personable. read more

To be fair, part of the appeal here is that Pizza Time is less than 5 minutes from our house so it naturally ends up being our favorite spot for a quick beer. Quick beer at the bar aside, I can't get enough of their pizza. Tastes just like Mack & Manco to me. I also can't get enough of the Cubano Sandwhich... seasoned pulled pork, pickles, cheese, mustard, perfect! Service definitely can be a little shaky sometimes, but all in all a great local place for an affordable, laid back night. Disclaimer: I am originally from Manhattan, so my view on pizza may be a bit skewed. This place serves a DELICIOUS pie. It's not by any means New York pizza, but it is sooooo good. It has a taste of its own that I have not experienced anywhere else in Philadelphia since moving here. The quality is outstanding if you order a whole pie. Slices are obviously hit and miss, as they are anywhere. The rest of the food is what I'd expect for a ~$10 restaurant. They have pretty standard bar / family restaurant food. Nothing strikes me as particularly imaginative, but it's good quality and a good price for those times when we just don't feel like cooking. Their service can be slow, especially if it is busy. They have fantastic bar specials during games. The upstairs bar still allows smoking, which is a shame because I wouldn't mind participating in their frequent poker events given their convenient location to my house. read more
