Went to cherry hill location and wanted to go to Starbucks . This place was right next to it and we wanted to see what the twist in the pizza was.. when we looked at the menu. We really noticed the twist... super awesome Desi Indian style pizzas.. interior was super excellent.. lots of seats to sit and eat.. parking outside was also really good.. . Location was awesome... so many other restaurants and coffee shops around.. service was good .. Kids had a cheese pizza and it was good good.. nice and soft pizza . Price wise it was ok. We also ordered curry masala breadsticks.. don't taste much of curry Masala, but the breadstick with cheese was good.. The best was Achari paneer pizza. I guess I didn't know it is an Indian fusion pizza place. The kids only want traditional pizzas and the location is convenient. We ordered online with ample time. Got to the place. No one was at the cashier, waited for someone to come out from the back and the food wasn't ready. Hand toss pizza was ok. Large pie is smaller than traditional pizza place. Not bad but nothing special either. The chicken Alfredo was the one I'd like to comment about. The sauce seems very sticky and clumpy, doesn't taste like Alfredo. I found this place by accident when I stopped one day at the Starbucks next door. We need a place to eat on Christmas Day and I was so happy to have remembered this place. The vegan options are plentiful and the pizza was delicious. We jammed to Punjabi music playing in the restaurant while we gorged on the delicious food. The all meat vegan pizza had a nice blend of spice and texture. The Tikka Vegan Chicken pizza had the right amount of sauce and spice. The service was quick and brought it to our table. The tables and floors were not clean when we arrived. If someone has eaten, the staff should be proactive about cleaning the tables. We had requested the pizza to be half spicy and half not, but when it arrived, it had green peppers on the entire pizza. When we pointed this out to the waitress, she went to the back and never returned. Just a note for the business owner -- if your staff makes a mistake, hiding in the back is not the right way to handle it. The right approach would have been to acknowledge the error, apologize, and make a new pizza. Running a business isn't easy, and mistakes happen, but how you handle them matters. When the waitress finally came back, we mentioned it again, but there was still no apology. I wouldn't recommend eating here just because the food is halal. It's important to listen to your customers if you want your business to grow and sustain. I hope you take this feedback as an opportunity to learn and improve. We came here on their opening day and were so excited to try this pizza! There's a similar style pizza in the Bethesda area that we've been craving ever since we tried it so imagine how happy we were to see this Indian infused pizza style open in the area. The folks working there were all nice and patiently answering everyone's questions albeit the long line of people also excited to try this new spot. We decided to try the Achari chicken pizza (spicy sauce & with jalapeños) and the Masala fries. Spicy also. Oh. My. Goodness. Those fries, guys. Wow. The sauce on the fries was the star of the show for me. They coated/complimented them so well and the flavor was on point! Very welcoming environment and kind staff. We got the tikka masala wings and butter chicken pizza, both were 10/10 and very fresh. We also got mango lassi that was pretty good. Their drink selection was so good, it was hard to choose! Presentation of the food was nice and they even bought out actual plates instead of paper. First time here, clean place and comfortable to bring my family. We tried the Butter Chicken Pizza, 3 Idiot Pizza and All Meat Pizza- bottom line the 3 Idiot pizza was the best! More importantly all 3 Pizzas were cooked perfectly with ample flavor and meat. Price is a bit high but honestly for what you're getting I thought it was fair. 1. ORDERING ON LINE: I'm usually a phone guy, but as I was already using the on line menu, I tried it out...and it worked out great. All choices and customizations were there, and simple to use...and the DoorDash delivery (never used them before, and prefer places with in house delivery) was pretty quick, and trackable. In all, a good experience. 2. CHICKEN WINGS: Good size, meaty, nicely cooked, and plenty tasty. Not cheap...but a cut above typical pizza shop wings at many places. Seemed fresher for some reason. 3. ACHARI CHICKEN PIZZA: Saw a picture of this one in a prior review here...and came under its spell! The reality was almost as good as the trance. Very tasty, nice medium thickness, a well put together pizza...though it was pricey for what turned out to be a 12 inch "medium". If anything, the Indian influence, and slightly offbeat toppings, could have been BOLDER! But that's just me. SOOOOO...color me pretty impressed. One of the worst customer experience one could have ordering pizza through their website. placed order for two pizzas and i made a mistake for topping on the second one. I reached the store within 10 mins of order and requested them to modify the second order. After that it was an ordeal. On the website they don't mention that order goes in via doordash. The staff started calling the doordash customer care and asking for solutions. When they agreed to change the order pizza twist told them they already got the 2nd pizza made. Wasted over 45 mins on phone trying to figure out what to do and broght me to the point to just cancel the order. When i asked just cancel the order so that i can leave they again started calling doordash. Neither of them either willing to cancel the order or make a new order. Finally i had to leave without the order. I guess losing one pizza is more important to this place then losing a customer for life time. Never ever going to order anything from this place again. The staff working at the counter confirmed on my face that order is cancelled and it will take 2 days to get refund. I paid full amount for 2 pizzas took none. They make you feel like that you are trying to play some games to get free pizza although it was an honest request to modify the second order as i clicked a wrong option. I have informed the owner about the incident and received long texts apologizing about it and that they have requested doordash to refund the money. However when i called doordash, they told me pizza twist marked order as completed and put comments that i never picked up the order so that i will not get any refund. Hope they can enjoy the free pizzas from my side then. Instead of doing all this i would have preferred if they could have told straight at my face that they will not refund or change and saved one hour of our time. read more
