It's ok if you're hungry, want a low wait time, and don't want to spend a lot. I went there a few times for pizza and wings. The food isn't extremely hot when you receive it like I think it should be. You can basically eat it immediately without waiting. Chicken is all cooked in oil, either fried (crispy dark meat) or the wings (classic, white meat). Oven baked would be a better health option and would keep them heated longer - but take longer to make. The pizza wasn't too bad but I felt it could've been cooked more. The thin crust option wasn't Neapolitan (oo flour, with low gluten) so it's a bit thicker than I expected. Overall the pizza is decent, it's better than something like Pizza Hut or Pizza 73, but not as good as Panago or Capital Pizza in both delivery and flavor. I ordered online twice, the first time they asked my name, what my order was, and had to verify the order. The second time they didn't get my order because "the system was down". Second time around I waited less than 10 min for my order to be made and given to me (wings). Probably frozen wings thrown into an oil fryer. They also have single slice pizza if you're hungry in a pinch. Again, low wait time, decent price... so you get what you pay for and aren't over charged. Tip is seemingly mandatory on both their website and PoS machine when paying by card. read more

Grade B+ My son and all his buddies turned me onto this pizza. Try the donair pizza. They also have a super large 18+ inch which is great for families. This is the type of place you remember from your childhood days ordering from non franchised pizza sort of a place. It's no famosa or blaze or a boston pizza. It doesn't have to be any of those other franchised corporate pizza places. This is one of those special hole in the wall pizza joints that brings back those good ol memories before the franchises starting showing up and pizza tasted like a Canadian pizza. Good, heavy with toppings and cheese, and perfectly sloppy and well balanced with meat, veggies, cheese and bread. It's a small neighbourhood pizza shop that's a hidden gem serving good old school Canadian pizza where toppings are thrown on rather than cheaply measured out like those franchises. Crazy good fried chicken. Some of the best in SW Edmonton. This sort of chicken puts KFC and others of similar ilk to shame. I highly recommend you try their chicken alongside their incredible donair pizza which is undeniably the best donair pizza in SW Edmonton. Good value. Great service. Good people. Although pizza is the focus of the restaurant, I honestly think the chicken is the real star. The pieces are giant, and it's super crispy and always flavoured super well! Definitely one of my favourite places to get fried chicken in Edmonton. I've tried a lot of their pizza toppings, but I think the best and most unique ones they have are the donair meat and sweet donair sauce. Pair this with your preferred veggies and you really can't go wrong. I've only given 4 stars just because of personal preference. How much you like their pizza will depend on what you value the most in a pizza. If you value a good dough and crust, this pizza will probably be 5 stars for you. However, I personally prefer super cheesy pizzas and it's not to say that their pizzas are not cheesy, but they don't have that super ooey-gooey, bursting with cheese factor that will make me LOVE a pizza, so the pizza is not my favourite although it is still quite good. Like I said, it's definitely just a matter of personal preference. I've ordered from them a couple times and the food has always been great, plentiful, and very affordable. This place may not look like much from the outside, but the food these guys put out is amazing! They have a huge pizza menu and sizes vary from small to giant (an 18" pizza). The pizza is definitely my favourite thing about this place, although they also do really great fried chicken. My absolute favourite pizza is the donair pizza, I've ordered it multiple times and every time I swear it keeps getting better. The restaurant is very small so it can get busy pretty quick, so I recommend calling ahead and picking up the food. I definitely recommend them if you're having a large get together, but it's also perfect if you're having a night where you just don't know what to cook for dinner. read more

All the grocery stores were closed on New Years Eve, so we Yelped 'pizza' and this place came up close to home. It looks like your average 'hole-in-the-wall' , but the pizza here is amazing!! A small 10" pizza is only $8.99, and you can choose from a large selection of unlimited toppings, including donair meat and tandoori chicken. Our tandoori chicken pizza was ready about 10 minutes after ordering, and we were very impressed by the quality. The crust was light and non-greasy, with a wonderful crunch. The tomato sauce was flavorful and aromatic, and the tandoori chicken was mildly hot, exuding an exotic spice aroma that's complex and unexpected. Our two pizzas also came with ranch sauce included in the box. This is some of the best pizza I've ever tasted, and it's within walking distance from home. Pizza was good. I thought it was a bit greasy. But I guess that is what you get with pizza. I have never actually been to the place. I had delivery. My father loved the pizza, My wife liked it, and my 2 year old enjoyed picking at it. I have had better pizza, but since this is Halal, it was pretty good. However, I am reluctant to order from here again. The Person who took my order was rather rude to me. I placed my order at 5:49pm. 2 pizzas for delivery to Riverbend. 10 minute drive to duggan area where the shop is located. At 7;30pm I called them back and inqured as to when my pizza would arrive, since he had told me it would take 40 minutes to make it, and drive to riverbend. The man told me, "ya, it is on its way, and it hasnt been 40 minutes yet" I assured him that looking at my call log, it was almost 2 hours. He said, "wait, you are in Riverbend? Well you should know, it takes well over a hour to deliver to your area". I disagreed politely. I told him that if he had told me that my pizza would take 2 hours to arrive, then I would have probably ordered erlier, or just gone out for supper, instead of ordering it from them. Been going here for 5+ years now and only ordered their donair pizza and chicken wings so I can't speak to other things. Wings are fine, nothing special though. Their donair pizza on the other hand is amazing! I've introduced a lot of people to their donair pizza and I have yet to see someone dislike it. Service is fine, the dude on the phone always says 'ready for pick up in 20 minutes' but it's usually 25-30. Not complaining though since the price is hard to beat and I don't mind waiting a bit. I am a Student at the UofA, with no car, I had a craving for Fried Chicken. This place, unfortunately, was the only place that offered Delivery ($6). When the delivery guy came, he just stood at my doorstep and did nothing to facilitate the order until I tipped him... Even though they charged me $6 for Delivery. After receiving the tip, he just stood there, which prompted me to ask him if I needed to sign anything, to which he replied "yes". He asked if I had a pen, which I out of laziness said no. He then made a PFFFT sound which was extremely rude and unpleasant. Unable to quickly receive my food which I was so eager to eat, I ran to the other side of my house to retrieve a pen (Not much effort, I know). After the signature, he left without saying a word, leaving me with a bag of Food. Chicken wings are pretty good, Fried chicken is mediocre at best. Will not order from this place again. read more

So the first thing I tried here was a pizza donair that my friend brought over, and it was delicious. I've tried my fair amounts of donair pizza around the city and this was the best. The pizza was stuffed with toppings and the donair meet was nice and juicy, some places the meet ends up dry and ruins the pizza. Also they give a generous amount of sauce on the side when you ask. Decent pizza, horrible customer service and expect long waits. I've been getting pizza here for about 6 months now, but today was my last visit. No matter what time or day of the week, the guy always says 20 minutes. I arrive after 20 minutes and always have to wait a minimum additional 20 minutes. I don't care if the pizza takes 40 minutes, I will happily go do something productive. What I don't like is having to wait twice as long every time. I understand things can go wrong and what not, but this place is consistently very behind. So today, I said to man who is always there "you need to start quoting better times... It's always 40 minutes and you say 20". He got very defensive and I couldn't understand everything he said, but he said "we don't know how long it will take". If I was running a pizza joint, you can bet I'd figure out how long it takes. And I think he also said "I know you, you always complain". Well why I did complain once before when I waited an hour for my 20 minute pizza, you think the guy would take a hint and start quoting the rjght time. I cant believe some of the reviews on here. This little mom and pop joint is incredible. I can get 4x the food here for the same cost as a major pizza chain like Pizza 73 or Dominos. At lunch time this outlet services nearby schools, literal hundreds of teenage and preteenage students socializing and buying lunch. Sometimes with lines entirely out the door. These lines are handled calmly and professionally by expert staff and larger orders are not delayed. Pizza, cheesebread, chicken and donairs are all outstanding. In two years frequenting this place Ive never recieved sub standard quality of food or service. Its frankly a tough choice to not just order from these guys every night. A slice of pizza here is more filling and far more tasty than a whole pizza from Dominos. In two years the only downside Ive ever experienced was a very seldom occurance of lack of stock, such as lasagna, or a brand of bottled soft drink. Which is entirely to be expected of this smaller kind of food joint. Do yourself a favor and choose these guys over a big chain. read more

We order from here occasionally. I really like their fried chicken. I order it when I don't feel like cooking and its always hot, crispy and ready for me to pick up after 20 minutes. Their pizza slices are quite huge and I like the cheese pizza. I don't like the pepperoni because its made from beef not pork. Beef pepperoni tastes just as weird as turkey pepperoni. Around noon during the week the restaurant gets busy from all the junior high students who come for lunch from across the street. There are 3-4 small tables to sit at. We ordered pizzas and chicken meals for my sons' birthday party. Only a few tweaks and I'd give 5 stars. Pizzas were awesome, hands down better than the big pizza chains. Awesome pizza crust! My only complaint would be the canned mushrooms. The fried chicken was really good, not greasy, and full of flavour. Again, better than the big chicken chains. Only issue, was I was not too keen on the fries. All in all, the price wasn't too bad. They were quick with their delivery (about 40 minutes) which isn't too bad, we had a large order. Average Pizza, Poor Customer service. I ordered a pizza and chicken pieces on the phone. They told me that order would take about 20 minutes, I was at their location after 30 minutes as I knew they are not punctual..I only received pizza and realized that there were no chicken pieces, I asked the guy who took my order, he tells me that I never gave an order for Chicken Pieces. He needlessly argued and tried to convince me and my wife that we never ordered chicken pieces, Finally he did admit his fault and told me that it would take another 20 minutes ( which is like 40 regular minutes) for chicken pieces. I gave up and was hungry and decided not to buy chicken pieces and waste my precious time. Shop being ran by young boys ( and an Owner) who have no idea about time management. This is my favourite pizza place hands down. It is cheap, and the Donair pizza is the best in Edmonton and to die for. We have been going here for 5 years, and we love it! The fried chicken is also excellent. My advice is to get the combo, pig out, then enter into a food coma. They have great deals, and have never messed up an order even though we always get a different combination of the toppings for the Donair pizza. (Great for picky eaters: order the Donair pizza with only the sweet sauce and meat) This is the only place I want to order pizza from. read more

When this restaurant first opened they had really good donairs and the pieces of meat in the donair were not overly thick but when we asked to have the meat crispy it wasn't an issue. In latter exsperiences though the meat was minced and I found it to be quite gross actually, and so I wouldn't consider ordering from these guys again. If you must order a donair and you're on the south side Hollywood Is about the best in my oppinion but I still have yet to find the ultimate best donair or pizza similar to what I used to be able to get when I lived in Halifax and other parts of The Maritimes; haven't found anything close to that and I've been out here since the 80's. read more
