Wild mushroom ravioli with shrimp
Leanna K.

Pizza definitely lives up to the hype. The dough was the best part! So fresh! Wild mushroom ravioli was tasty! Arrabiata had a nice spice. Awesome portions. Cash only. Would definitely recommend!

Legit best pizza in town, incredible crust and so many options. This place is better than a lot of spots I have eaten at in the Bay Area too. Super fresh dough hand made to order with any topping you like. They have a number of set pies too. We did not try any of the pasta but it also looked incredibly delicious. Indoor and outdoor seating. They have a good selection of drinks but if you want beer or wine you have to bring it they don't sell liquor at all. Family style we had the caprese salad and it was divine. Simple but so delicious. I don't eat tomato, I can't stand them actually but I ate theirs and loved it. A little balsamic vinegar and it was a winner. We also got a sausage and mushrooms pie and a classic cheese and both were stellar. Crust was crispy and chewy and light as air. Really well done. Staff were super cool. Check them out. Cash only.

After driving by the place every single day we've been here, since it's along the way to the main town square center, we finally decided to try this spot - also because majority of us are over tacos and burritos. Lol. Like majority of the restaurants, they offer outdoor seating which is literally in the same road as the cars directly in front of the restaurant. The service is okay, not as friendly as other places, but the food made up for it. We ordered the garlic bread which was deeelish. If you notice from my pictures; it looks like a pizza but just mainly garlic and olive oil. The mixed salad was beautiful, one of the most prettiest and freshest salads I've ever had! The charcuterie board of mixed cheeses and meats also had a beautiful presentation. For dinner I tried the carbonara. The only thing that sticks out for this place from other Italian restaurants is that they make there own pasta in house! I tasted a huuuuuge difference immediately within my first bite! The piece las of black pepper within the pasta was also very welcoming, this added a different kind of spice kick versus putting hot sauce or red chili flakes all over. I would highly recommend the restaurants along this street, and adjacent to this one. They are separate from the busy hustle bustle of the square and therefore these spots are not that crowded.

As you can see from most of my Sayulita reviews, I love everything about this town, including all of the local businesses working hard to keep their doors open to so many tourists and locals. There are a handful of pizza and Italian places in town, Pizza Venezia is a solid option for brick oven pizza - food comes out fast - and pastas. Plus, it's BYO. It gets HOT if you sit "inside" due to the adjacent kitchen and over; you're better off sitting outside with a slight breeze.

Pepperoni pizza for $45 USD

The pizzas were completely ruined and smashed upon arrival and our driver extorted us for more money. DO NOT DO NOT go here!

Hands down best pizza in Sayulita. Pizza very authentic tasting to a real Italian pizza. Great texture, texture, fresh ingredients. BYOB & para llevar. Reasonable priced.

Regular pizza looks amazing. The gluten free is on a thick corn taco. Not great but the toppings are amazing. Ask for extra crispy crust!!!

Luis, our server tonight was wonderful, very attentive while providing wonderful dinner recommendations. We ended up ordering two out of the three dinner specials offered tonight: Rib Eye (1 kilo) over sautéed veggies and arugula. This dish is so large, the steak is large enough to share between 4 people! Cooked to absolute perfection, this medium rare piece of heaven is a MUST! Nice change from the tacos we've been having for the past 3 days.. Yellow tail, wow - y'all about freshness. Fish lover? Order this! Linguini pasta toased in a thick white cream sauce with mushrooms and TRUFFLE oil?! Yes please! This is deeeelishhhh! The Garlic Soup!? OMFG! If there's in secret/hidden gem on the menu it's this item! So good, I'm going to TIP that, you have to order it! The pizza is also yummy, cooked in an open fire place oven, the crust is perfect. Overall, a great atmosphere, ambiance and chill vibe. The food, delicious, the service - great!

Service was top-notch with just the right amount of encounters. We started with the quail and beet salad, then I had the mango habanero fish and he had the ribeye, and we finished by sharing a tiramisu. It was absolutely amazing all around. The lovely low-light atmosphere, star lamps strung from trees growing out of the courtyard, and soft music made this a dinner to remember.

I had their gnocchi and was pretty tasteless. The sauce was weird and very watery. Nice ambiance, but pretty empty. I should have wondered why. Now I know. Except those things, service was warm and friendly. That's all.

Increasingly, they bring big city attitude and behavior which is in direct contrast with the local business people and restaurant operators. One such case is Leda. We have enjoyed numerous meals at Leda in the 4 years that it has been open. Last night was the last. In a sheer display of audacity, the restaurant would not provide a wine list, instead suggesting that its list changes rapidly. I am ok w that. Where my problem lies is that when asked if we wanted Cabernet, Pinot, etc., the waiter directed us to a particular ($13 retail) Italian wine. Without sharing the price, and frankly, me not asking the price, I went on trust that my selection would be a reasonably priced wine ($40-$60). Anything higher I would have expected a confirming comment from the waiter. No such thing. After enjoying a wonderful dinner and 2 bottles of wine, I was shocked to see that the 2 bottles of wine cost more than the multicourse meal for 6. I was shocked and felt violated. Certainly I share some of the blame for not asking but going back to my opening comment, the owner (from LA) is just looking to gouge his transient guests. I did approach the owner and he was dismissive and non accommodating, rather suggesting it was my fault and apologizing for not training his staff well. Enjoy dinner here at your own risk. I am not the first to write a review like this. My suggestion is to enjoy a meal at one of the many local operators. They love having you and are in it for the long haul. I have cancelled my reservation for 10 next week at Leda.

We had to wait about 10 minutes for a table, which was perfect, as it gave is a little time to look around at all the trinkets and various wares in this busy tourist town All 4 of us ordered the same thing. While the taste of the Ruben was really appealing, the pastrami on my sandwich was a little gristley. The fries were tastefully seasoned and plentiful. My biggest problem, having zero to do with the restaurant, was the BLARING electronic music on the corner. It was hard to hear each other talking. I wasnt expecting it to taste like a US NY deli Ruben and it did not, but it wasnt bad. I'm not sure I'd go there again, with all the other choices.
