Sausage, jalapeño, and mushroom thin crust pizza
    McKenna D.

The best pizza in the Valley! Even if you're not in Cave Creek / Carefree area it's so worth the drive to bite into a slice of heaven. The owner has been in the back making pizzas for 50 years so he knows a thing or two about pizza. He makes his sausage in house and man is it delicious!

Artichoke, mushrooms, crispy and yeasty thin crust. I mean SERIOUSLY!?

Boring. Good fresh veggies, but still boring. Also total ditz answers phone. With lots of choices in the area, we won't be back.

The pizza is good, but we've had horrible service the last two times we went. It's also rather expensive.

Oh my gosh, my husband loved the homemade italian sausage and marinara sauce used on his sandwich.

The patio views are beautiful, and the weather made it such a great spot to sit outside in the evening. The live music was a perfect touch...not too loud, so you could still have a conversation comfortably. The owner even walked around and spoke with guests, and both he and his wife were incredibly friendly. You can tell they really take pride in the entertainment they provide and in making sure customers have a great experience. As for the food, it reminded me a lot of the pizza at A Modo Mio Cucina Italiana, which is just a few streets away. If you've had and enjoyed their pizza, you'll likely enjoy Pizzicata as well. I ordered the Jennifer calzone, and it was okay. I would try a calzone again, but with different toppings. I added a meatball for an extra $3, and honestly, it didn't quite hit the spot compared to homemade meatballs. The calzone had a lot of ricotta and not a lot of other ingredients in it, so if you're not a big ricotta fan, this probably isn't the best choice. That said, the ricotta itself had a different flavor than other ricotta I'm used to. The calzone doesn't come with sauce inside, and the side of sauce is pretty small. I was charged $0.50 for an extra... I probably could've used two or three sides of sauce since the calzone had none. That being said, the sauce itself was excellent... very close to the flavor of sauce that my family makes. This sauce really gave the calzone a good Taste, it just needed more! We also tried the mozzarella sticks, and those were good. Overall, the atmosphere is beautiful, the space is a nice size, and the staff is warm and welcoming. It seems like a good place to bring kids, although when we went (Thursday around 6), I didn't see many. The decor is lovely, and the overall vibe makes it a place I'd come back

Julie was amazing to work with and accounted for every detail, included a welcoming sign and each place had it's own personalized menu card with his name and wishing him a happy birthday on it. The food was all amazing and the desserts were even better. We were on a slight sugar overload because we not only got the dessert that came as part of the prefixed meal, but they also brought out a 'birthday dessert' which was a giant slice of birthday cake, the creme brulee, and apple pie a la mode. It was a great touch but a lot of sweets. Some points to note but nothing to really 'complain' about... Other staff did come in to grab supplies from the supply closet which didn't bother us too much but some might think that it would feel like you were placed off into a supply closet turned 'private dining' rather than a true private dining room. The AC didn't seem to be working well so extra fans were brought into the room which helped slightly but it was still quite warm in the room. There is a steep ramp about 2 feet long that made getting in and out of the room a little challenging for my father in law with his walker and overall balance, but otherwise was not an issue. Overall it was a great experience and the party guests were very complimentary of the whole thing!

She responds so quickly and always addressed every question, idea, etc I presented. I loved getting to work with Julia, she is such an asset at Keelers. I cannot say enough good things about her! Overall, we had a good experience. They were very nice to provide a vegan option for one of our guests. The food was hit and miss with some dishes (like the NY Strip) being great and others being not so good (like the Prime Rib (although it was massive in size!) and Salmon). Our server Maria was great! She had a full section on the patio and then us off in the private room and she did a great job providing us with good, quick service and we loved her banter as well. All the staff we interacted with were really nice. We enjoyed being in the private room and not having to worry about disrupting other dinners, but there were some quarks with the private room. Staff often came in to access some kind of storage room within the room, we would have loved the ability to control the music ourselves, which was on when we arrived but stopped part way through out meal. The room is also separate from the rest of the restaurant, I assumed it would have been inside the same building but it is off the patio in it's own building and down a very steep ramp.

We're certainly glad we did. Confluence offers a beautiful outdoor patio for dining, while the interior is intimate, with only six to eight tables and a small bar. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with warmth and character--you can definitely tell there's a thoughtful touch behind every detail. We were greeted by our bartender and server, Victoria, who also happens to be the co-owner. She was absolutely wonderful. Even though the restaurant was busy, she made us feel like we were her only guests. As we talked with her, we learned how she and her husband, Chef Brandon, are the entire operation and work seamlessly together to create an exceptional dining experience. The menu is intentionally small, but that's because every dish is prepared fresh to order. Chef Brandon's attention to detail is evident in every plate. The presentation is beautiful, and the complex, well-balanced flavor profiles showcase his culinary talent. We highly recommend the Gazpacho--it was outstanding. As former restaurant owners ourselves, we were especially impressed by how this husband-and-wife team consistently delivers such an exceptional level of food quality, hospitality, atmosphere, and overall uniqueness with such a small operation. Their teamwork and dedication are truly something to admire. If you're visiting the Carefree or Cave Creek area, make it a point to dine at Confluence. We don't think you'll be disappointed. One final tip: To ensure they can maintain the highest standards of food and service, they intentionally limit the number of guests they serve each evening. Reservations are strongly recommended, especially during the busy season.
