Sadly, our second visit to Patricia's didn't live up to our first. Our first visit was over the summer for my birthday, and hubby immediately decided he wanted to go back for his birthday, which is why we went today. Like our last visit, we ordered a few items off the happy hour menu to share. (I actually had to ask if there was a Happy Hour menu as it was not provided when we were seated.) Today we chose the Italian Wedge, Handcrafted Meatballs, Arancini Medley and the Bacon Wrapped Italian Street Dog. The meatballs were just as good as last time. The wedge had too much blue cheese dressing. The menu says the Arancini Medley is a "variety", but they all seemed to be the same, no variety. They were decent. The street dog was honestly what we were looking forward to the most as we'd really enjoyed the one we had last time. This one was not nearly as good. The pickling of the veggies just overtook the flavor of the entire hot dog. Very disappointed. Service also left us a bit disappointed. As I already mentioned, I had to ask for the Happy Hour menu. We weren't asked if we wanted to wrap anything up, and we were not even offered dessert. Our server seemed disinterested, or perhaps she just didn't like us much. I tried to make conversation a few times, unsuccessfully. Stopped with some friends for Happy Hour on a Saturday evening. Decent selection of Happy Hour Food, and some drink discounts. We had Meatballs and the Pizza, the other couple had HH Salad and the HH Slices and no one left hungry and in fact we both got to go boxes! We ordered the wedge salad (very good but a bit too much dressing); the fried calamari (sauce was excellent!) and the prosciutto and mushroom Naplolian pizza. We were very pleasantly surprised by the food at Patricia's. While we had heard good things, we were blown away by how delicious everything we had was. We came for lunch with another couple on a Sunday and sat outside. We ordered a combination of things among the four of us. Some from the happy hour menu and some from the regular menu. It's hard to highlight any of the food because everything we had was excellent. The Arancini trio and the salads were wonderful. And I enjoyed their cheesy garlic bread as well. This certainly will not be the last time we come here and we highly recommend giving Patricia's a try. If we had one quibble, it was the loudness of the music. We have tried a number of their pizzas and a few other dishes and have found everything to be consistently great quality, with excellent flavors. Patricia's pizza is owned by the same folks as Italian Daughter down the street. We had two take away pizzas from here and they were both delicious. Toppings were spot on but the best part was their crust. It's made with sourdough. I was able to taste the slight sourness of sourdough. The texture was perfect too. Service was friendly and fast. Sat outside in the shade for happy hour. The waitress was friendly and efficient. We ordered from the happy hour menu which had numerous items not just pizza. I ordered the fish and chips which had 3 pieces of cod. The coating was a bit thick for me but it was easy removable. The pizza looked ok I think it could have used more cheese but I was told it was good. The wedge salad looked kinda wilted and was small. Hopefully that's a one time deal. But I really don't think it should have come out like that We will return though and I do recommend the place. read more

Dropped n for lunch. Very cool place with indoor and outdoor seating, and a two sided bar that has outside exposure. We heard people rave about the pizza so we jumped in.. Ordered the Quattro which had pepperoni, sausage, sliced ham, mozzarella and olives. Crust was super thin with soft edges. Sauce was minimal just the way we like it. Our server was very attentive and took a little extra time to walk us thru the menu for our next visit. Let totally satisfied. Highly recommend without any reservations. Overall we had a very nice dinner. The four stars are because of the service and multiple errors on a cocktail. We wanted to sit outside because the weather was perfect. Luckily they have a thick, green plastic "hedge" that blocks out the site of parking lot which is just to the east of the patio. Inside the bar is two sided, much like Sicilian Butcher, however on a smaller scale and it has with a rolling garage door on the north side with chairs. The Happy Hour menu is available only at the bar high tops and outside. The temperature inside was way too hot however we were able to sit outside as we had hoped, at a two top next to the "hedge." The two tops are larger so if you order a lot of dishes that come out at once like ours did, there is plenty of room for all of the dishes. Our server Colin (sp?) was nice enough when asked a question or if he was taking an order however he is not bubbly or pro-active and didn't ask us how things were until AFTER we were completely done. The Happy Hour (HH) menu is great - many options - as does the regular menu. Pricing is very decent although the location is quite a distance from Phoenix or Central Scottsdale - hence the need for lower/decent pricing. We ordered a glass of "rotating red" from HH menu and it was pretty thin and tasteless - to be expected for seven dollars with a nice pour size. The smoked Manhattan was my choice, however I didn't want it smoky and he said they could do it. What came out was a beautiful clear ice cube in a low tumbler with plenty of bourbon and maybe a little bit of simple syrup however, it was missing the Luxardo cherry and the dried orange slice. When I mentioned to him that it was missing both he came back with the Luxardo cherry, however it now had a fresh piece of orange rind. So then I had to remind him that it was supposed to be the dried orange piece and he came back with two on a plate. We had the HH shrimp and wedge salad. The shrimp were very sweet and only mildly spicy and they were a nice size - and about a dozen of them. The crunchy coating on the shrimp stayed crunchy under the sauce which was a nice surprise. The arugula under the shrimp was strange though as it got really wilted. The calamari was delicious, maybe a tiny tiny bit cold on the oil as a few of the pieces were a little bit greasy, but overall very tasty. It was a very nice size portion for the $21 menu price. The only issue and you can't see it on the picture is that the aïoli had a little bit of a dried surface on top of the container and the marinara when it came out looked like somebody else had already used it not quite full and sloppy on the edges. The wedge salad was very tasty although guanciale was not crispy as stated on the menu and it needed more of it. Other than that, it was very classic, standard and tasty. We will definitely return to try the pizzas and other regular menu items. There was another server who was very bubbly and more engaging with the customers at other tables. I think Patricia's made it passed their soft opening and they are well on their way to being the most popular restaurant in the area. I do wish they took reservations and maybe they will in the future. For now, go early! We met a friend at 5:45 on Wednesday and the place was buzzing! They told us it would be a 40 minute wait, but it ended up being only about 20 minutes because we agreed to sit outside where they have loads of heaters that work very well. The bar area inside was packed and there were a lot of people outside waiting to try this new restaurant. Our drinks arrived quickly and we placed our order. Service was good and it seemed like everyone was keeping up with the rush of customers. They have a nice salad menu. The caesar salad comes with pistachios which is unusual, but kind of fun. We all ordered different pizzas. I tried a white pizza- Mushroom and Truffle and it was delightful. For $22 I had dinner and lunch the next day. My dinner mates both chose red pizzas- Quattro Carne and the Calabrian which had a nice spice to it. The pizzas came out fast, in under 15 minutes. Patricia's is open for lunch and they close at 10:00pm. Happy Hour is 2:00-6:00. It is a great addition to this area. See you there! read more

It's an OK spot. I need to try more items. The ones I have tried were good quality & delicious. The exception was the Grandma Pies. I was excited and looking forward to it thinking it was a "pie" so that was a dissappointment. It's just a thicker slice of pizza lol! They have outside patio, and third is definitely the weather to use it. The waiters are amazing but dissappointed of our waitress....she took excellent care of the table but I could sense a bit of roughness. Don't ask me to explain. I just know. Our first outing as new parents was to lunch during restaurant week to Patricia's. We were honestly so nervous but it ended up going very well. We sat outside as to not disturb anyone in case it didn't go well - they're prepared for the heat with fans and misters on the terrace. The restaurant week menu was a 4-course menu with a starter, salad, entree, and dessert. I ordered the sweet chili shrimp, Tuscan mixed green, meatball sandwich + fries, tiramisu. My husband ordered the eggplant Parmesan, Caesar salad, rigatoni + meatball, and tiramisu. All the food was delicious and the portions were generous for being 4 courses. The sweet chili shrimp was delicious - the shrimp were fresh and there was a perfect balance of sweet and spicy. My next favorite part was the tiramisu - I haven't had tiramisu in a while and it was done very well. My husband enjoyed his meal as well and we both had leftovers to take home.
