    Classic eggs Benedict!
    Susan O.

This used to be one of our favorite brunch places. Sadly not anymore!! We were seated and it took at least 10 minutes to get water. We felt ignored by our waitress. She finally came and took our order. My husband got his usual the breakfast enchiladas. The enchilada tortillas were way overcooked. They were cigar brown. Same with the breakfast chimichangas I had. The tortillas were burnt. There was barely any filling in them. A little bit of meat a few beans. Pretty much inedible. We also got the doughnut special and it too was over fried. We sadly won't be back.

Oh my goodness. Probably one of the if not the best brunch I've ever had. Whatever we ordered they were all so yummy. I got shrimp and grits and it was sooooo good. Perfect consistency and good flavor. The donut was very good as well. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Definitely will come again. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Cute decor too![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Saw this place on Check Please Arizona with Chef Tarbell. Breakfast Enchiladas very tasty. A must have is the donut of the day-sort of like a fresh Kristy Kreme with toppings. Delicious. I asked about espresso and was told there is none. Ground only. I asked what kind of coffee grounds. A little confused but they said their coffee is a higher level Sysco brand. They made it sound like an upgraded grounds. But for $3 bottomless- I should had known better. I could not drink it after one sip. A head pass. I would have rayed higher if good coffee. As for the caramel pecan sticky buns- they seemed to taste a little like Bisquick recipe sheet cut into six small rectangles. Skip that next time and stick with the donuts. Service was attentive and awesome.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This is a cute brunch spot with some parking out front in Cave Creek are.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I was here with a friend on a Sunday morning for brunch. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place was packed inside but we were able to get a spot out on the patio.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our server was really nice and patient with our menu and accommodations. I got the steak Benedict and my friend got a veggie burger. We also got the donut of the day to share which was fresh and made to order. It was absolutely delicious! The place was decently priced with lots of menu options. Will be back!

My friends and I decided to stop here after a morning of kayaking at the lake. The place was packed around 12 PM which we were expecting but the way it wasn't too long. There were plenty to choose from on the menu and everything tasted great. Overall, I would come back here again. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambience was chill and casual.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

The food is always amazing. I've had the breakfast enchiladas, salmon Benedict and pancakes, and all were delicious. The staff is friendly.

    Chorizo Scramble with Shell Eggs

5 stars and I will be telling all my friends about this place! I can't wait to try everything off the menu. Chicken and waffles was the best I've ever had and my picky father agreed. He described the waffle like the texture of a perfectly crisped pancake. There was amazing flavor in the chicken and was perfect with the syrup. Chorizo Scramble like many restaurants are typically made with liquid egg so I substitute for real shell eggs. The chorizo was perfectly seasoned and was a pretty good size dish. I ordered with the medley potatoes- I would recommend the russet potatoes to go along with the scramble as the medley potatoes include sweet potatoes and can throw off the flavor of the overall dish. The service was beyond and beyond, the waitress was very knowledgeable of the menu and items. She was kind and allowed us to sit outside. There's a fire pit for when it gets cold but for the summer there are misters on the patio and you have a great view of the mountains. Be back soon, Brunch!

Brunch is fantastic! The menu is awesome, the coffee and cocktails are awesome! Brunch feels very warm and inviting. The patio is cozy and pet friendly so on our first visit we brought our dog after hiking in Spur Cross. I had the Smoked Salmon Benedict and my daughter had the Blueberry Lemon Pancakes, Yum! The portions are large! I had a Mexican coffee and she had a cream soda. Our server was great. The second time we sat inside. It's a little loud, but that's bc it was busy and there was still such a friendly vibe. This time I ordered the smoked salmon salad, it reminded me of the old chopped salad from cowboy ciao, delicious. We will continue coming back, also love the cute merch they have inside for sale.

Can write more about this place later but I went here about a year ago and it was really good

The donut of the day which was a lemon, glazed doughnut, and it was scrumptious!

I have been here now about four times. We decided to go there a day early for Mother's Day and this restaurant has obviously become much more popular than even in the past. Of course, we had to have their gourmet donut of the day which was a blueberry, lemon doughnut, and everyone loved it I had the breakfast enchiladas, which were fabulous. We had a host of different things and the pictures are attached but all in everyone enjoyed their meal and we had enough to bring home and have a second meal. I love the location, the service, and the food really is quite good and it is one of my favorite breakfast places in the north Valley.

I have been here before but finally getting around to the review. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I will start by saying they are dog friendly which I love.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Also it's an amazing place for vegan they have the vegan egg and cheese. We came on a Saturday at noon and had about a 15min wait so not bad at all. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We sat outside since we had the puppy with us, they have water dishes available and a water cooler to fill it up.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The outside patio is really cute and small.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The inside is pretty spacious.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I had the salmon Benedict which was cooked perfect. My daughter had a bandito burrito with no chorizo and used the vegan eggs and she loved hers.

This was a great find. Arrived around 10am Saturday, got seated immediately (good thing, it was packed with a line waiting outside by the time we left). The server recommended the Breakfast Enchiladas and said she would pay for it if I didn't love it. I ended up paying for it, because it was amazing. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Great place.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

j-mo old fashioned - needs a little work
    Chris N.

Made a venture up to the true Cave Creek as this place had really good reviews. Super popular during brunch time and we had about a 15 minute wait. We started off with mimosas and moved onto food. We tried the Crab Cake Benedict and the Pork Belly hash. The Benedict was not just appealing to the eye in presentation but also delicious as well. The pork belly hash was surprisingly well balanced; I had thought the pork belly would be too heavy but it was balanced with some acidity with the kale which was surprising and delicious! The service was attentive and friendly which is much appreciated. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The inside was busy but warm but had a cozy family feel to it but also had plenty of alcoholic choices for adults to enjoy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The only reason why I had to give 4 stars was because of the cocktails; we tried the J-mo old fashioned and the brunch punch. The brunch punch was sweet, a little too sweet with not too much alcohol. As for the old fashioned, I've never had one with muddled cherries at the bottom. I've had my old fashioned and I understand the point of the cherries to add sweetness, but all the sweetness was at the bottom resulting in the first sip being overpowering or whiskey. Overall this is the only reason why I'm giving a 4, but this would not prevent me from coming back again to try other items on the menu. Definitely a must try!

The first time I stopped in for a glass of wine just to check it out -- they were about to close, but the staff was so kind and welcoming. I even saw a roadrunner on the patio, which honestly felt like the perfect Arizona welcome moment I went back yesterday after a 4-mile hike at Jewel of Cave Creek and had a turkey, avocado, and bacon sandwich with chips -- simple but absolutely delicious. Fresh, satisfying, and exactly what I needed after being out on the trails. Prices are very reasonable too. The vibe here is what makes it special. It's busy but relaxed, cozy but open, and you order at the counter which keeps everything easy and casual. They offer coffee, wine, pastries, sandwiches, salads, and more -- perfect for a quick bite or a chill afternoon. I especially love the setting surrounded by the little Cave Creek shops. It has such a peaceful, welcoming energy and is a great spot to sit outside, enjoy lunch, and soak in the Arizona sunshine. Whether you're hiking nearby or just exploring the area, this is a wonderful place to stop. I'll definitely be back

Mine was on fresh sourdough with a generous amount of turkey and fresh veggies. Two 6 inch sized sandwiches came to a little over $24. They do a surcharge if you use a credit card which I will avoid next time by using cash. I don't love this and wish businesses would just include it in the price of the food, however it is minimal. There's one posted on the wall and there's paper ones you can take back to your table. There is no service. You go in and you order what you want to eat, pay for it and then you go to the bar pick up your food, and then service table to get your drinks, cutlery, sauces, napkins, etc. Make sure you get lots of napkins if you got the barbecue and sauce. You will be using lots of napkins. We got up three times to go get napkins lol! Everybody working there that I spoke to, really outgoing, friendly welcoming people. There's tables of every sizes and shapes as well as booths. The young woman who took our order did come to our table several times to make sure that everything was good. We had a little two year-old with us celebrating her birthday. She ate two of the brisket slices all by herself. All in all, this is a good place to go for lunch on Sunday. Especially if you like barbecued meats. The ribs were outstanding as well. Mostly meat. But you could have them with that on you them. I appreciate that someone came to check on us several times and they even comped me a free tea I guess because we spent a lot of money and it already left a nice tip. I really appreciated that. we ended up going back and ordering more food. If you're someone who enjoys good barbecue, this is a good place to go. I really have to complement the pork ribs. They were really well done lots of meat almost no fat and the sauces were pretty good. I apologize for not taking pictures of the food. it's challenging when dealing with a two-year-old lol!!
