You guys, they have beef pepperoni! They're hidden in a mini strip mall & the parking is tricky but I've seen people park across the street to come in & pick up their food. They deliver too! It's on the smaller side so it's basically just a walk up counter for picking up orders but the staff is friendly & fast. 2 large 1 topping pizzas for $27 isn't a bad deal either! read more

Let me start , I came to this place to order pizza to support a small business with good intentions. We purchased two pizzas and it was quite expensive. Forgot to take a picture because it was so good!! We ordered a BBQ chicken pizza (bbq sauce, chicken, bacon, onions, cilantro, mushrooms) and it was one of the best we had. Definitely better than CPK; stop wasting your money there when P. Rex does it soooo much better seriously wish I would of known of this valley staple earlier. The people working were so so kind. I know this place 40 plus years, it sucks to see this place play the victim. When I order outside my address " not letting them know who I am "they can cook a great pizza, however, it seems like they sabotage their surrounding neighbors with the quality control, and to feel sorry for them "a GoFunedme" on the top of the pizza box. I've heard this was a staple of the valley, but never got a real chance to try it until recently. Was pleasantly surprised! The service was very friendly and the wait time was only 10-15 minutes. The pizza was cooked well. The dough was the right amount of crispy while still being light and fluffy on the inside. The toppings were fresh and the cheese was nice and melted. They have a $8 deal for medium pizzas Mondays-Thursdays, which is comparable to Little Caesar's or Dominos in terms of price. However, in terms of taste and quality it's definitely a a step above those chain pizza places. If you're a CSUN student or just in the area, I would definitely recommend this spot! read more

Had this pizzeria bookmarked and finally I reached out on Super Bowl Sunday. Super friendly via phone call even though I could tell they were extremely busy. Took my orders and gave me an exact delivery time that they did stick to. I ordered 4 different pizzas; pepperoni, feta and tomatoes l, meat lovers and chicken fajita. Along with the pizzas I orders barbecue, buffalo and plan wings. Feta pizza could have used some basil but still good Meatlover was a favorite Pepperoni was solid Chicken Fajita was solid And everyone couldn't stop raving about the wings! You will forever have me in a chokehold This is where I used to get pizza from in elementary school and I'm 30 now LMAO I will drive 15 even 20 minutes just to pick me up. The ingredients are so good. I love the crust. I love their sauce as well. It's Light not like your usual heavy pizza sauce. I will forever come here as long as they're open! You can have my money any day lol and the owner is the same man that has been there since I've been in elementary school as well ha ha so it's really nice to be grown and still able to see a familiar nostalgic face that just reminds me of the simplicity of childhood ALSO! the quality of the food and the taste, plus the amazing customer service and you know those hole in the wall places be the best! the cheese pizza was absolutely amazing, probably the best pizza i've ever had. the people at the front are very friendly and kind, they came out and gave me my pizza (although that might be because there's no places to sit inside, but i digress). the area is quiet for the most part, not very busy. i sat outside comfortably and ate happily. will definitely come again. please support this business!!! read more

Really good! Ordered 2 LG beef pepperoni pizzas & it only came to $28! Good crust though I wish it had garlic or Parmesan seasoning because it starts to taste plain 3 pieces in. It's a small shop so I didn't see much seating. The parking lot is small & if you're there on a weekend night, it's better to park on the street. People always ask, "what would you do differently in college with the knowledge you have now?" My answer to that would be, "try Pizzasaurus Rex 15 years sooner." I was recently at a family gathering in the Granada Hills area and we were told there was pizza from Pizzasaurus Rex. We were like, "that's a real place?" We thought it was a gag, but sure enough the box had dinosaur on it. While this place wins on name alone, the pizza is just as good. I don't think it's going to win any awards or get featured on some cooking channel show, but it's good. It reminds me of the Papa Johns, Dominos, arcade pizza of my youth, but made with quality. The crust is equal parts thin and doughy; crusty and chewy. The sauce, slightly sweet, but savory. The cheese blend is perfectly melted and blistered and just salty enough to balance out the uniform layer of red sauce. At first glance, the toppings seemed a bit stingy, but actually was just the perfect amount of meats to cheese. Had I known this place existed back in my CSUN days, I would have much rather come here than all the student union pizzas I wasted my time and money on. But now I know, if I'm ever back in the area, there's a great pizza spot nearby. read more

Today we ordered from Pizzasaurus Rex for the first time... my husband called in a pizza order for carry out. He said upon walking in the guy greeted him with such genuine enthusiasm. When my husband brought the pizza into the car it had the most appetizing smell!! I could tell it was going to be a good one! My 5 year old doesn't like pizza and she said this is the only one she likes! I bit into it, still hot with melted cheese and it was sooo good! I'm excited to order again and try new things on their menu! Highly recommend you give this local pizza shop a try. read more

For this visit, we tried an eggplant style zaatar "pizza", the chicken shawarma wrap, a falafel wrap, and baklava. The pizza was a delicately thin but fluffy treat with small crispy chunks of eggplant and a thin layer of juicy meat hugging the pita-like bread. The zaatar seasoning was a nice balance of nutty and zesty stop the savory goodness. For the wraps, the star was very clearly the chicken shawarma wrap. With fluffy pita wrap that was just the right thickness filled to the brim eith incredibly tender chicken, pickles, and a lovely soft fried potato that gave additional body and texture to the wrap. And the garlic sauce smeared within is fantastic, with a nice creamy consistency. This was perfection. Even the baklava and a really rich but pleasant sweetness to it with plenty of pistachio embedded between the layers of phyllo. This is nearly a two hour drive for us, but I would try to find another reason to make the drive. Zaatar N More is really exceptional and worth a try!

The pizza at Pizzasaurus Rex is truly exceptional, making it a hidden gem in the Northridge Valley. Their seven-dollar medium pizza special with one topping is a fantastic deal. I'm genuinely grateful I didn't discover this place during my college years in 2001; I might have ended up much bigger due to the irresistibly good food and quality. The service, provided warmly by the owners, adds to the overall positive experience. Just a heads up, parking can be a bit tricky since it's in a popular strip mall. read more

If you are looking for a pick-up or delivery pizza joint, you can't go wrong with Pizzasaurus Rex. They primarily serve the CSUN, Northridge, Granada Hills area. Their pizza's are darn good and very reasonably priced. Good, inexpensive pizza. Take-out & delivery only. No dine-in. Pizzasaurus is a WAAAAY better option over calling up Domiblow's. Better pizza, made fresh, friendly staff. Only 3 stars because they aren't Numero Uno Granda Hills. read more
