This was my first time at Pizza Twist and I was really impressed. I ordered the Butter Chicken naan pizza and the Achari Gobi naan pizza and both were excellent. I love Indian food and I love pizza, so the fusion concept really works and is done very well. Armaan helped me and he was kind and welcoming. He gave me a punch card since I told him I plan on coming back, which I definitely will. He also let me try a mango yogurt drink and it was so good. I had never tried it before and I will absolutely order it again. Great food, great service, and a unique menu. I hope they offer catering because these pizzas would be perfect for groups. I came in one night close to closing because I wanted to try a new pizza spot. While the service was not bad or terrible, the experience overall was not for me. The place smelled strongly like Indian food, and while I have nothing against Indian food, it was not something I wanted while eating pizza. I ordered a thin crust pizza, but it was more like a standard crust and not close to thin. The pizza itself was just average and the pricing did not feel reasonable for what I received. I had a really disappointing experience here. I found a couple of hairs in my pizza, which is completely unacceptable and honestly made me lose my appetite right away. On top of that, several parts of the pizza were completely empty--just plain bread with no cheese or toppings at all. When I brought this up to the person at the counter, he brushed it off and said it was due to a "cheese bubble popping," which didn't make sense because there was clearly no cheese or ingredients in those spots. There was no effort to fix the issue or offer any kind of resolution. The service was very poor and unprofessional. Overall, a bad experience and I definitely won't be coming back. read more

This is a hidden gem that I just came across on a cold and rainy night. I was expecting your usual run-of-the-mill LA pizza with pepperoni, sausage and supreme toppings. What I wasn't expecting was Indian fusion. There were lots of signature Indian dishes as toppings like Chicken Tikka Masala, Butter Chicken, and Curry. I ordered the Tikka Masala Small pizza and thought it was delicious. The assortment of bell peppers, onions, mushrooms, and chickens were fresh and tasty. The base was a creamy curry sauce--a very nice substitute for marinara sauce. The cashier was friendly and answered a lot of my questions. He recommended I try the hand-tossed crust and it was a great choice. The pizza had a medium thickness and a crispy crust. Though I didn't try them, there was plenty of plant-based options making this pizzeria a great option for those with dietary restrictions. The interior of the pizza shop is also super vibrant with lots of cool art on the walls. It was an extremely comforting late night meal and it was a nice to have my expectations surpassed. By request of my niece that she wanted pizza, and she is open to try new flavors. 1st time and decided to dine in since pizza is better fresh and hot. Since I have a young eater with me we ordered safe flavors pizza, and thankfully she liked it and the grown ups too. Although she is by herself when we came in she is very nice and helpful. Her service didn't disappoint. It was a small place but very pleasant. As much as we wanted to hang around a little bit more, we don't want to hold the space. I'm a big fan of 786 Degrees Wood Fire Pizza. My go to is the Bombay Tikka Masala so I knew I would like this place as it is a fusion with an Indian twist. I pre-ordered my pizza and it was ready when I arrived. I got a family size Manchurian Chicken pizza extra spicy because that's how I roll. Next I will try the Butter Chicken. At first bite, there's an explosion of bold flavors coupled with a delicious crust. I usually don't eat the crust even my favorite crust which is Numero Uno. But, I ate all the crust here as it was that delicious and also, the toppings go pretty far into the pizza so it leaves a tiny crust which I like. Tons of pizza joints have huge crust and less toppings. We all know what you are doing! I really enjoyed the Manchurian. I would recommend it to any first timer. As for the spicy level, it wasn't too bad but my 4th slice had a huge kick so be warned not all slices will have the same level of spiciness so don't get too cocky. I enjoyed their Achari Chicken Pizza. I picked the thin crust. I normally would top my pizza with parmesian cheese and chili but after tasting the pizza I don't need any. It's that tasty. Pizza takes about 30-40 mins so plan ahead. There is a fee when when paying with card. Small place but clean and well maintained. I plan to try their other pizzas next time read more

I was craving pizza last night and I'm kinda over all the generic places so I yelped pizza spots and came across this place. I looked at their menu and some pictures online and knew I had to try their food. I came here on a Friday night the ambience was chill they had seating indoors and outdoors. Very bright and welcoming! They are located in the L.A. Fitness shopping center, literally a few stores away from it. I was greeted by the owner and I told him it's my first time and I asked for some recommendations. He asked me if I liked spicy and recommended the achari pizza seems like its a big hit here. I am not big on spicy but I decided to get the butter chicken pizza and the manchurian wings. It took about 20 minutes for the order to be ready. I ordered a small pizza and wings and talk about flavor explosion. The sauce, chicken the mixture of onions and cilantro was perfection and it had a nice kick to it. The manchurian wings were really good too. I couldn't eat all of it so I ended up sharing with my friends and they loved the pizza too. I definitely plan on going back but I would go with more people so we can get multiple pizzas and share. The masala fries look really good. I love the pizza has a twist they have an Indian twist and they have your regular pizzas as well in case you aren't looking for a twist. I know my friends and family would love this spot. It has an Indian fusion flare, so if you enjoy Indian food or enjoy trying new foods this is the spot to go. Their menu is very extensive. A great new addition to the neighborhood. I placed a pickup order on DoorDash for Pizza Twist Northridge, but when I arrived I was told they were out of the achari sauce (our absolute favorite!). Apparently, my order had been canceled, but I never got any notification about it. It was blazing hot outside and I was on a time crunch, so it was definitely frustrating. What saved the experience was Arman. I was honestly blown away by the level of customer service he provided especially considering he was a young man working alone. He kept such a calm, kind demeanor and made me feel at ease despite the situation. He patiently walked me through all the sauce alternatives, didn't rush me while I decided, and even offered me a soda while I waited for the new pizza to be made.
