Just Nasty. Decided to order delivery through Eat since the kids we're in the pool and wanted to try a new delivery option...you know planning for summer time. I guess the mistake was the extra cheese. What we got was a decent smelling pie...but first bite...and this is from my boys....ill. Greasy mess. I had to take the pizza box off the counter because it leaked a greasy mess all over the counter. Had to make the kids grilled cheese sandwiches and tossed a whole greasy slop just in time for Monday moring trash day. Grilled cheese was a hit...the dinosaur is extinct for us. This restaurant is the perfect place to go to if you're on a budget; especially for all those college students who live near by. This place is local, easy to drive to or even walk to if you live in Northridge. Me and my friend got the two item twelve inch pizza coming down to only $10.00, so we evenly split the money for $5 each. It was a decent size pizza that filled both of us up. We each got four slices, and ate the first two outside of the restaurant, since there isn't really anywhere to sit down and eat on the inside. Then we saved the last two for later, because it had already got us full. Once we walked back home we finally finished our meal. The food was a little bit too greasy, but we were able to soak up the grease with our napkins. The toppings that we got were sausage and garlic, in my opinion the garlic was better than the sausage. There are also several of other toppings that we could of added on to our pizza but, the price goes higher for every topping you add on by $1.25. Consequently I would rather go to Little Caesars or another pizza place that is cheaper so then the toppings wouldn't make the pizza as expensive as it would add up to at Pizzasaurus Rex. Although the pizza was good the appearance of the place was unwelcoming. Right when you walk in you can see where they make the pizza because the kitchen is right there which is pretty neat, but to the right there is two random lounge chairs set in the middle of the place. This had thrown me off due to the fact that I had never been here before and was expecting it to have an area where you can at least sit down and eat your food. It also had no color inside which made it bland and it made me think twice about coming back again, if they cant even put enough effort in to decorating there restaurant, this gives me the idea that they don't care that much about there customers. You can order online or get a free delivery, but to whoever goes and picks up there food may not like there way of cleanliness that thy choose for there restaurant. The customer service was alright there, we hardly got a smile from the man taking our order or a thank you. They just take you're order and tell you how long it will be until you will get your food. This is also why me and my friend waited outside since they're was nothing to look at on the inside besides a man leaning on the counter just waiting for the next customer to come in. We also went to go buy drinks from somewhere else since they didn't have that much of a variety of drinks. They only had some sodas and Kool Aid Jammers or water bottles. The pizza was ready in about ten minutes, but if I ever eat here again I think I would just prefer delivery; since the pizza is nothing special worth waiting for. Although some other items on there menu looked pretty interesting to try like for example there side orders and they're desserts. They're side orders include items like buffalo and BBQ wings, mozzarella cheese sticks, and salads. A very limited amount of sides, but this is favorable because they all go good when you're eating pizza. There desserts look appetizing which include cheese, mud pie ice cream or fudge dark chocolate cake, and oowee gooey brownies. This made me think of something new to try which may influence me to come back, whenever i'm l a craving delightful snack. The pizza place is a very good place to go to if your on a budget. It is very cheap and even has free delivery! There is no place to dine there you can only pick up, similar to most pizza places. The best deals are always during the week. I went on the weekend and the worker inside told me the deal they have is only in the weekday. The place is designed for you to be able to see whats going on and you are able to see how they are cooking your pizza. The location is very nice because it is close to all CSUN students. Overall the pizza is okay. I payed ten dollars for a large pizza and it was a good size. The quality of the pizza is okay but i think it needed a little bit more sauce. The guy was chill and there is a big t.v inside so you can watch it while waiting for the food.The space is brightly lit and but with only a limited bar looking seating along the window. Maybe for about 2 to 3 people per group. It also did not take them very long for my pizza to be ready. Normal waiting time which was like 10 - 15 min. If you're in the area and looking for a twist or looking for a standard pizza delivery place this would be a good pick, but as novelty pizza places go it's not worth going out of your way for the pizza. If you live around the neighborhood this is the perfect place to go to. If your ever around CSUN definitely check this place out if your on a tight budget. read more

I really love this place! I have been getting their pizza for a long time and it seems to just keep getting better. The crust is really high quality and the sauce (marinara) is subtle. It tastes like a high-end pizza but the price is very reasonable. Also, the energy in this place is special. They have always been friendly and positive. I will continue coming here. read more

The food is as childish as the name. The pizza is cheap, which might seem like a compliment, but is more a statement of fact. I don't know what they put in their pizza but it's ridiculously good. I had my first taste during my last day of class at CSUN when my professor ordered pizza from Pizzasaurus Rex. It was absolutely amazing. The herbs they use for the pizza are so aromatic and flavorful and the crust is just crazy good. Loved it so much that I went a week later to get some pies for my family. On Monday through Thursday, they have a medium one-topping deal for $6. $12 and the family is happy and fed. Would definitely order from them again. Skip Little Caesar's and head to this spot. Of all food items, pizza is probably the most subjective to one's tastes. That being said, even the worst pizzas I have tried, have been at least okay (because it is pizza). That is until today when I tried Pizzasaurus Rex. This place claims to have been in business for 25 years, the free delivery and location next to CSUN is the only possible reason that they could survive that long. I ordered 2 medium pizzas (sausage & pepperoni) & (ham & pineapple). when I picked up my order and got in my car, instead of the usual awesome smell that comes from a hot pizza these seemed to omit a strange smell kinda like a chemical fire. Then I grabbed a slice and tried it. It absolutely was the worst pizza I have ever tried. I will say that the dough was decent, but beyond that, everything was horrible. The sauce might have been good, but it was hardly even there. The cheese (if that what it really was) was a puddle of grease and the source of the chemical odor. The pepperoni (which I love and thought could never be bad) was a tasteless, chewy meat not even resembling pepperoni. The sausage literally almost made me puke when I tasted it by itself. This was the 1st time in my life that I threw away pizza without saving some for leftovers. I should have returned it and demanded my money back, but I decided to voice my view on YELP, in hopes of saving someone else this disgusting experience. I am currently hoping that I do not get sick from the 2 slices I tasted. I really can't explain why some reviewers on here give this place good reviews. A great place for students eating on a budget. I love that Pizzasaurus is only 10-15 mins away from the CSUN dorms. It's so convenient and affordable at $6 per medium pizza; their drinks are cheap as well! The service is quick and the owner is so friendly! I love their pepperoni pizza. It's not too greasy and has a good balance of bread, sauce, and cheese. The hot wings are fine but much bigger compare to big companies, which I love. I can always appreciate a place that serves decently sized wings. Their sausage pizza is nice but not as good as the pepperoni. If you're buying multiple pizzas they have great deals available in person and online. If you order online they have free delivery. They don't have an eating area, it's mostly a small lil shop you go to pick up your pizza and leave. I absolutely recommend this place if you're coming back from class or work late and need a good, quick meal at an affordable price. read more

We had an issue with delivery, as the delivery boy accidentally gave our order to the previous house.
