I was craving Serafino's lemon hummus tonight while the DoorDash delivery person was amazing I did not get hummus! Not sure exactly what it was. It was purified liquid to some degree in the lemons sank right to the bottom. Not sure what has been going on over there, but the quality has definitely been slipping. I'm a long time Customer. On town for a short vacation and looking for pizza we stumbled in based on it being near where we were staying. Place was clean and not busy on a Monday night but the staff was friendly and the pizza was outstanding, definitely a recommend for anyone looking for a good pie. read more

I came to Serafino's because my regular pizzeria was closed for either vacation or remodeling. Not sure which one. I've had Serafino's bookmarked for several years so I decided to give it a try. I stopped in around 2:00 PM so it wasn't crowded. It's a nice, clean sort of old school type of place. The young lady who took my order was very friendly and knew the menu. I got my pizza a few minutes later, took it home about an hour away, put it on our pizza stone, and reheated it. The pizza was tasty and had a slightly sweet sauce. The crust and the sausage were the big hit on this pizza. I love that they don't use ground sausage like so many other places use. The crust was the star. Loved it. Definitely will keep this place in mind for another pizza. read more

I am a new to the neighborhood and have been fed by Serafinos well. They are the best. Vinny, in particular, is my favorite. The kid can cook! He always makes great recommendations and has never put a plate in front of me that wasn't delicious. Love this guy. They're lucky to have him. I recommend Serafinos with zero hesitation. read more

My husband wanted pasta while we are here on vacation. We chose this small mom and pop place to try. The inside is on the smaller side but seemed clean. I have no complaints about the inside. The portions were good sized. The prices were okay. His seafood fettuccine alfredo was very creamy but a little runny. He said the scallops were mushy. He also said the garlic bread didn't have a lot of flavor. We ordered the breadsticks with cheese first. It was huge! It was good but needed way more garlic flavor. The crust was really good. I ordered a hamburger and added bacon. The bacon was extra thick cut which was nice. The burger, however, was kind of odd. It was like they took their meatball meat and made a patty and grilled it. I wasn't a fan. The fries were decent and seasoned. Not sure I would eat there again. read more

This place is a hidden gem. It's near my house...since it's off the beaten path, it's a great getaway for a nice tasty meal with no problem getting seated. They seem to do a lot of takeout and delivery there. So, my favorites are the Alfredo pasta, chicken souvlaka, Greek salad, spanakopita, and limoncello cake. Also, subs are good! Service is friendly and the ability to get seated is great, especially in the summer or on the weekends! So glad this place is close so I can enjoy it often! read more

My Serafino's experience was prettyyyy bad tbh. Disappointing because I just moved a few minutes away from there and I heard good things from people! Maybe my expectations were too high... So I walked in and sat at the bar, immediately getting slapped in the face by an unpleasant stench that I can only hope was coming from the restroom and not the kitchen. Once I sat down and looked the menu over, I was approached by someone who seemed to be the owner and he asked what I wanted to eat. I'd been thinking about breadsticks all day so naturally I went straight for the garlic breadsticks and a small meat lovers pizza. The man says, "The breadsticks are big, I don't think you'll be able to eat them by yourself, you should probably just get the pizza." ".......Okay....I'll just do the meat lovers pizza." I'm a lover not a fighter. But seriously, those breadsticks were like $7.95 and I was willing to eat the hell outta them so I have no idea why the guy talked me out of it. So I sit there and wait for this pizza (mind you, there's barely anyone else in there) and I wait, and I wait. A half hour later, the sweet girl behind the bar is like "Did you get your pizza yet?" "......hmmm nope not yet." So she calls to the kitchen, and lo and behold, there was no order put in for a meat lovers pizza. Perfect. She was very sweet and apologetic and told me they'd put in the order right away. I sit there for another 20 minutes, get my check, aaaaand not even a discount. $30 for 2 angry orchards and a small meat lovers pizza. I waited another 10 minutes, asked for my pizza to go and tried desperately not to blow a gasket. I give it 2 stars instead of just 1 because the pizza was decent even though it greased me up...and the girl working was very sweet. read more

I've always enjoyed Serafino's and used to go there a long while back when I lived up in the Myrtle area. I'm not sure on all the details over the years but, I was pretty sure they closed at one point and then maybe re-opened at some other point. Honestly, I have no idea if management or ownership ever changed over the years. I came in recently with my Mom. As I walked in, I got out to check and see if they were even open. The windows are blacked out with tint which doesn't give the most welcoming feel. I opened the door and saw that it was completely empty so I assumed they hadn't opened for the day yet and went to head out when the waitress caught me and asked to seat me. I waived my mom in from the car and we grabbed a booth. She had a sub and I ordered a buffalo chicken pizza... my old favorite from there. The pizza was still tasty and the service was over the top excellent. I'm assuming because we were the only party in there. Maybe they don't do much lunch business but I was shocked to see them so slow. Hopefully that was a fluke. Although I'm guessing based on their location, they likely do a lot of delivery service. Maybe go check them out for lunch... great service with no competition for a table! read more

I have a moral obligation to warn people about this place. Went with my wife, mother and niece. Waitress was kind enough. My mom and I order chicken souvlaki's. My mom immediately recognizes there is no tzatziki sauce on hers. She tells the waitress who tells my mom it's under the lettuce. She's now a bit condescending. But I don't have any either. My mom gives in and says, ok, can I have extra? The waitress says extra will cost extra (except there was none there to begin with!). She brings some and asks if I have enough white sauce. I tell her there isn't any on mine either. She brings me some and then sheepishly admits that the cook may have made a mistake. This is just getting started. The real problem came when we got the bill. She charged us $11 each for the souvlaki's that were listed at $9.50, and charged $2 75 for a fries upgrade that was listed as $2. We nominate my wife to talk to her. She comes back telling us that the prices listed are SUBJECT TO CHANGE. What? Well I guess the tips are subject to change then too. They handed us a menu with their prices on it and then charged us more. What would stop them from charging literally any amount they wanted? And WHEN did the prices change? Before we entered the place? After we returned our menus? After my second bite? This is completely outrageous, and my mother believes, illegal. We brought the waitress back to our table and explained this was totally unacceptable. Speaking for the whole restaurant and the manager, she shamlessly held her ground and pointed to covid and inflation as a reason for increasing their prices. She never once acknowledged the actual problem, of not advertising the actual prices. Charge whatever you want, but you have to update your menus. She never addressed why the menus did not reflect their higher pricing. She only half-explained why the prices went up. This place deserves to go out of business. read more

This was our first time ordering here. We just had a large pie and an order of fries. To be honest, the pizza tasted like Little Caesar's or Dominos. While I was there to pick up an order I witnessed the only table in the dining room have items missing from there order, kids running around behind the checkout counter. Two Cooks in the back that had no clue what was going on. They couldn't handle the table or my small takeout order. Unorganized, rude and very unprofessional. Also. These people do not know how to cook Italian food at all. If you are from up north expecting the same...forget it these people cook up the mediocre crap and call it Italian. PRICES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE!!! Do not go by what is listed on the menu prices- they will charge you whatever they want. Even though they did not update their menus, they are charging people made up prices. Never have I EVER experienced this at a restaurant. They are NOT even sorry about it. The waitress justifies this by saying it's Covid, inflation, etc and they have to make up the prices somewhere... but how is this the customers problem? They don't tell you what the real prices are until AFTER you have ordered, eaten the food and gotten the check! The service is rude on top of that. They were going to charge us EXTRA for sauce that was SUPPOSED to come with the order. They are tricking customers. They should update their menus and have their waitresses be nice to customers. We first attempted to order by phone. We are asked to hold and then the line disconnected. We called back twice and no one answered. Because the restaurant was nearby, we drove there to place our order. The staff was unfriendly, but tolerable compared to the pizza. We were told that the large is 16 inches. We measured it at barely 14. The sauce lacked flavor, the cheese was bland and the dough was thick, chewy and brown. Might be the worst pizza we have ever had. And we ordered a $4.50 cup of soup that came in a container the size of what you would put dressing in for a to go salad. read more
