Service was extremely kind as soon as we sat down. From the food to the drinks, everything was well worth it. I will definitely come back if I'm ever nearby again.

As the ongoing support of local restaurants graciously marches on, TGIF. Quick to answer the phone, pleasant to deal with... quite accommodating. Ordered two entrees; Eggplant Parmesan and Chicken Piccata. Eggplant - plentiful and excellent flavor. Sauce was sweet but no too so. Angel hair paste was cooked to perfection. Good sized portion. Chicken Piccata - good tasting and good sized portion, nice flavor. Side salads were a tad undersized but veggies and dressings were spot.

    Worlds Worst Caesar Salad
    Scott D.

Caesar salad consisted of plastic jug dressing in a portion cup, packaged generic croutons (even though apparently they make their own bread), packaged flavorless shaved parm, and... get this... iceberg lettuce (and not much of it). $9.95. Despite the fancy oven, pizza was just like Chuck E. Cheese or the old Dominos style. Bland, rubbery, and on top of that COLD. No wonder the server never asked how the food was. This place is Dead Restaurant Serving. AVOID!

I'm so excited when a new place opens in my town. I have been curious about it as every time I have driven past it, the parking lot seems to always be full. The inside is a huge surprise: looks like a mini Italian market with its red and white checkered motifs, canned goods, and pasta for sale. We were greeted by one of the owners, who recognized our language as Portuguese. He followed him to our table. We sat in the room closest to the back and we were pleasantly surprised with the nice service and friendliness. Bread and oil: delish. My Genovese Homemade Rigatoni was to die for and my friend's Special of the Day Veal Marsala was also scrumptious and sadly, we had no leftovers to take home. We skipped dessert but topped off our lunch with an espresso. Will definitely be back. Another trip: Shrimp Scampi and Gluten Free Pasta alla Matriciana -absolutely delish!

I always give a few chances when trying a place but after 3 times this place just continues to get worse each time. This time was it for me. Our pizza was raw in the middle and the cheese was so rubbery and literally tasted like soap. But 1/3 of the slice was crust. We couldn't eat it because of the chemical soap taste and raw dough. I called to let them know and I got I'm sorry and they hung up. Such a disappointment. Wish I got a refund for something I couldn't eat but I guess not.

They handled Halloween Friday quite well given the volume. Terrific staff. Pie was great and hot as always.

Love their pizza! Hate their parking situation. But the pizza makes the parking bearable.

The place is huge and each room decorated just a bit differently. We enjoyed looking at the murals and the photos on the walls. Our waitress, Donna, was fantastic and very attentive. She brought us sourdough, another type of bread and an oil mixture when we were first seated. They had about ten dinner specials the night we were there, all sounded good. I ended up sticking to the regular menu and ordered pollo alla scarpariello. It was very tasty and huge. I brought at least half home with me to eat the next day. My husband ordered the halibut special. He said it was really delicious. My son ordered the bolognese, which he ate but didn't care for the creaminess of it. One thing I will note is that I wish they had a better selection of wines by the glass. They had a great list of bottles of wines including some super Tuscans , which I love. The wines by the glass list was lacking though. I was the only one at the table drinking wine so I wasn't going to order a bottle. Overall a great experience and we are looking forward to returning.

The bread service is generous (both Tuscan style and an additional garlic focaccia). There are evening specials, verbally recited, so pay attention! Everyone loved their entrees & cocktails. My substantial bone-in pork chop (special) with vinegar peppers & roasted potatoes was topped with a grilled fennel sausage and was juicy and delicious. My meal was preceded by a house salad with blue cheese dressing--nothing extravagant, but solidly above average. My dessert selection was the affogato and hit the spot! It was a little non traditional but very tasty! The table setting was well appointed and the old world classic vibe of the restaurant itself is soothing and elegant. I'll be back for other special occasions!

The restaurant itself has plenty of parking (and plenty of entrances). We went on a Tuesday night and had no wait for a booth. We were then sat and offered some complimentary bread and oil. I liked the bread- it was nice and crispy but not break your teeth hard. The oil was a little bland but free is for me. Our waiter was fine- not the most attentive but he got the job done. I ordered the chicken Rossini and my significant other had the chicken genovese. I really liked the Rossini. The price was fair for the amount of food you were given and the white wine sauce was very flavorful. I'd recommend this dish. What I wouldn't recommend is my partner's genovese. The dish had what looked like a quarter of a cup of oil at the bottom. I know it's pesto but no one realistically wants that much oil. Overall, did La Familia blow me away? No. But id consider giving it another shot at some point down the line.

Food: I wish the oil for the bread didn't just tasted like olive oil. my pesto pasta had ENTIRELY too much oil, pictured in review, like literally drowning in it. Shrimp special was good. Mocktail was one note, but I like that they offer it. Did not get dessert. I would go back and try something else on the menu.
