This my my first time dining in for lunch. Our server (lovely redhead whose name escapes me) was very friendly and attentive. My MIL ordered the eggplant parm, another friend had the grilled chicken salad with roasted butternut and I had the carbonara. We did receive a complimentary bread service with both dipping oil and butter. Everyone was happy with their selections. My carbonara wasn't super authentic because it had pancetta instead of guanciale, but they weren't stingy with the amount of it. It was solid nonetheless. In the past, I enjoyed take-out pizza. I have always enjoyed this restaurant and loved eating under the canopy in the summer. Every time it was Eggplant Parmigiana that I ordered and it was delicious each time. Today very disappointed - the eggplant was mushy and barely warm. To attribute warmth might be an overstatement. Little flavor to the eggplant as well. The pasta was tasty but sat in a pool of liquid on the plate from not being strained. What a difference from meals past. So disappointed. Ordered a meat lovers pizza for pick up . Was told twenty minutes. Walked into the restaurant at twenty minutes, was warmly greeted and told our pizza was ready. The car smelled great in the ride home. Was very happy to see the crispy thin crust pizza covered in multiple types of meat. Was even happier when we bit into it and heard the crunch and tasted all the flavor. I'm so excited when a new place opens in my town. I have been curious about it as every time I have driven past it, the parking lot seems to always be full. The inside is a huge surprise: looks like a mini Italian market with its red and white checkered motifs, canned goods, and pasta for sale. We were greeted by one of the owners, who recognized our language as Portuguese. He followed him to our table. We sat in the room closest to the back and we were pleasantly surprised with the nice service and friendliness. Bread and oil: delish. My Genovese Homemade Rigatoni was to die for and my friend's Special of the Day Veal Marsala was also scrumptious and sadly, we had no leftovers to take home. The meat lovers pizza did not have an abundance of meat on it, so they should call it the meat likers pizza. It was also slightly salty. But it wasn't bad, just not as great as I hoped. The steak fries were also a bit soggy and could have been allowed to fry a bit longer until they were more firm. On the plus side, the chocolate chip cookie was large and yum! I gave them another shot tonight and again, our dinners came at different times, minutes apart, and by the time we all began, somebody got the cold dish. Yes I weighed the chicken! Sorry but I'm paying $12 ( $11.95) for a grilled chicken Caesar salad. Romaine lettuce, grated Parmesan and a few pieces of shaved Parmesan. Croutons yes. But only 2+ oz of chicken? And it's cold. For $12 bucks you should get 4oz off warm grilled chicken in the salad. This probably cost them $3 bucks (if that) to make. I'll pass. read more

My wife and I came in for lunch, and my wife ordered a soda with her food. $2.00. The server asked if she wanted a refill after her drink was empty, and she said yes. When we got the bill we found that a refill has an UP CHARGE OF .50 to make a total of $4.50. When we asked the server if it was a mistake to increase the price for a refill to more than the price of just ordering a soda he said,"That's what we do here". The food was good. The service was ok. THE SNEAKY UP CHARGE FOR A REFILL WAS A MAJOR TURN OFF. I dont drink soda but we could've just ordered one for me and not been sneak charged. We will be sure to share this story whenever Pizzaria Romana is suggested by anyone in North Attleborough. They could have had customers for life as we both have had many years of working in the service industry and appreciate good food and good service. Subterfuge? My girlfriend and I have wanted to try this place for some time but just haven't had the chance. Finally got take out last night. From calling in and placing our order, to picking up the food. Couldn't ask for a nicer experience. The man who answered the phone and I assume was the one that gave me my order couldn't have been more polite. We got a Sicilian style melanzane pizza and an order of manicotti. Both were excellent. Even reheated the pizza the next day and it was just as good. If I had to eat in one place for the rest of my life, I would pick Pizzeria Romana. I miss going to eat inside pre-COVID - it was like my favorite fast casual spot and the pizza and food taste like Italy. It is run by Luciano Canova but it is not like his older restaurant in Wrentham. The mozzarella salad is fresh and delicious. The Corinna Pizza is our favorite - ricotta, sausage, and delicious cheese and sauce. I also like a plain cheese pizza with olives. My parents like the Sicilian with peppers, onions and sausage but I think it is a bit doughy. Their desserts are super delicious too. My one complaint is that takeout can take a while even if you order ahead. We recently ordered for 5:15pm and it wasn't ready til 5:30pm.
