Still just as good as when they were at the station! I didn't realize this but they also offer free dilevery directly if you order from them!! So just sharing a quick tip if you call directly and are ordering more than $30 you will save yourself delivery fee by just calling them directly & you will have more options for toppings and combinations.

The food was fresh and delish. The only little down side is they need to change the time from 1030 to 1130 on yelp, that's all. Other then that worker was friendly

First time trying this place, and was so happy with the pizza. Price is better than the nearby chains, and quality was excellent. I got a veggie with modifications and fried zucchini sticks. Will definitely come back.

I took a bite, I almost swallowed this plastic. Think it melted from the plastic cover due to the pasta being so hot, some pieces broke off.

Ordered a few things: wings, pasta and pizza. Alfredo kinda lacked flavor, it was immensely cheesy. In addition, the plastic cover that it came in, melted (because pasta was hot) and I almost swallowed a piece of plastic as it broke off from the cover :/ The pizza was probably the best thing from this place.

This family own pizzeria makes some dam good pizza. I picked up a 14' meatball and mushroom pizza to go for around $8. I waited as they made my pizza and I quickly learned that these people are a friendly bunch. After all, they put up with my sarcastic comments. Anyways, like I said, they make some fine pizza. The pizza came loaded with tender and well seasoned meatballs and a good amount of tasty and tender mushroom. It was hard to miss both, in every bite. The sauce was light in flavor and not to overly aggressive and the well melted mozzarella cheese throughout the pizza just made everything that much better. What I really liked about that crust was that it was not overly thick. It was not as thin as an East Coast pizza crust but not at thick as an Italian Pizza. It was in a middle and offered a slight crunch and good moistness. Its texture had that little bit of a chew which made for good eating. Well done gents. They mostly specialize in pizza, but they do offer sandwiches, pastas, and salads.

After a long day at sea world looking for a place to eat with my family, Pizzero ensured to fulfill my pizza desires. Their Pizza was amazing, the wings were to die for . Everything from the pizza to their pastas were on point. The fact that they were almost closing and still managed to deliver amazing quality (not rushed) food was just IT for me. Customer service was outstanding! Mario made it happened. Would def recommend over and over! Definitely will be my go to from now on.

I had a taste for a chicken pesto pizza instead of chicken I asked for pepperonis there was no tomatoes and barley no pesto sauce , I waited 45 mins and didn't get what I was expecting didn't open the pizza until I got home and look what I got . I have been on a mission to find the best pizza in the county. I have had their vegetarian pizza 3 times in this last week. YES IT'S THAT GOOD!! Chocked up full of fresh veggies mixed between lots of cheese, baked to perfection!! And their mozzarella sticks are the best I have ever had anywhere. Everything was hot and perfect all 3 times!! I can't wait to go back... even tho I live an hour NW, I will find a reason to be there again soon... you should too!! This has to be one of the best pizzas I've had in a while and this will be my family's place to go for pizza from now on. I can't tell you how amazing it is you've got to try them out for yourselves. We ordered a cheese with tomatoes because I've got picky kids and a lasagna. That was awesome just as simple as it was! The flavors were robust and fresh I can't wait to try a pizza without my kids. Pizza night! I decided to try something new & used my GrubHub App to order delivery. Yeah! Delivery was right on time and food (Pizza) nice and hot, Antipasto & Tiramisu cold. Was very impressed with the flavor of the pizza & pizza dough. Minimum order for using App & delivery applied but was definitely worth it. 16" pizza & salad will last me a couple of days - But not that Tiramisu! that baby will be gone before I finish this review! The BEST pizza for miles around. We love this place. Our only problem is that the pizza is so damn good, that we always crave and order just that...pizza. I am okay with the pizza. It was good. I think au pair with little Caesars. But I ordered a Caesar salad and paid $5+ for it. All it was, was iceberg lettuce (not at all the right kind for Caesar), a ton of croutons that were made with rye bread or something that I absolutely hate, and dressing that was not that great. I am very disappointed. Three stars for the pizza, only. And the fact that they're closer to my house than Little Caesars. read more

I would highly recommend this place. Small hole in the wall place I didn't even know existed in the neighborhood of skyline. But I support local places. First Of all I wish I would of had time to take a picture of the food but let me tell you I cannot resist how delicious the pizza and wings are. This is my main go to place for pizza even though i moved a little farther away I still drive to this place. The pizza is very delicious and the wing oh man the wings are just so good just cooked the way i like them and with a nice side of greek salad. Besides the food being so delicious the main guy who works there is such a sweet man. So respectful and kind. They way he treats his customers is amazing. He takes pride in his job will also let you know the food will be longer then expected. And explain why. Somedays he works alone and orders are backed up but its always worth the wait. Please people this is a MUST try spot in the city of Lemon Grove. read more

We ordered pizza on Saturday based on the reviews on Yelp. We wanted to try a new restaurant and I'm glad we decided on Pizzero. My daughter in law is picky about her pizza and she loved the cheese pizza. The varieties are numerous and it was hard to decide on a second choice. Awesome pizza, average prices. Their cheese-filled bread sticks are also delicious! (And the strawberry cheesecake is quite satisfying, but I don't think it's made in-store...not like that matters to me). Their crust and sauce reminds me of Costco pizza (which I like). The only thing I wasn't personally a fan of was their meatballs as a topping, simply because they're more like sausage, but otherwise I loved it. Thin but not soggy, plenty of toppings, large slices. My phone interaction was easy and efficient, and when I walked into the store, I was helped in a timely fashion. The outside of the store doesn't look very appealing, and the inside is small and blank, but that didn't effect the taste of their food. I recommend giving it a shot, especially if you're taking it to go or getting it delivered. read more

This place is NOT worth the price they charge. Pizza was gross, the cheese was hard and taste cheap, the hot wings tasted like they were friend in old oil, and were cooked so long they were hard and dry, not to mention the strips meal that we bought for our kids, they wouldn't even touch because those were as hard as a rock. Only reason they received one star is because I had to give one. When reaching out to the pizzeria, they had the nerve to offer a 10% discount for our next order, when we spent about $60 on their nasty food, we will not be ordering from here and i suggest you don't waste your money on it either. I have no idea how this is an almost 5 star pizzeria, they don't deserve that rating. read more

Great owner! Friendly and personable when I stopped to pick up my order on a cold and rainy night. I mentioned my son was in the car and very hungry I asked if they had breadsticks ready so I could give him a snack while we waited for the pizza. He said to give him a few mins - in just a few mins he expedited our pizza and gave us 2 breadsticks for free. My son was so much happier on our drive home with his yummy cheesy snack to enjoy! Thank you for being so kind and helping my small family out. The prices are very good and the quality is there too. Really great sauce and toppings are generous - we had sausage and pepperoni and Daddy and I enjoyed our pizza too- we live in the area and will be back to support this kind local business! read more

Let me start by saying I love pizza and have eaten a lot of it all around the world and feel fully qualified to judge any pizza honestly. With that said, Pizzero Grill has good pizza, but it's not great. The dough is among the best I've had a, nicely cooked, great chew and crispy crust. But, the toppings and cheese are just plain and lack something almost like they're cutting corners in the effort to keep the prices low. They charge $13.99 for a 16", 2 topping pizza which you can't beat anywhere (except Little Caesar's, but do you want to? ) However, I would gladly pay a few more dollars to get better toppings to go on the awesome crust! read more

Swung by just to check It out a few minutes ago. Really wanted some pizza by the slice, but since they don't offer that, I got the next best thing: a chicken parm sandwich. Got the order to go and didn't think about checking It. To my dismay when I got home, my mouth was met by the dryest chicken parm I've ever had because there was no marinara sauce in It! I gave them the benefit of the doubt and figured maybe I read the menu wrong and It didn't come with sauce. Checked the menu online and It says marinara sauce for sure. Very bad first impression. Would be one star, but the service and personnel are very friendly. read more

No regrets whatsoever. My son had the Fettuccine Tartufo with salsiccia, and my nephew went with the Carbonara. Everyone was happy. And then there was the tiramisu, made tableside, three spoons. Yesterday, we came in and not only ordered a pizza, but my granddaughter wanted a cheeseburger combo meal. We've never tried the different sandwiches available. The cheeseburger was was so delicious. It was one of the best burgers I've ever tasted, but the fries were soggy, and seemed like the oil needed to be changed, as they were oily. I know this isn't their 1st thing, being French fries, but I think if they can up their fries, and get the oil cleaned, we'll try the different sandwiches meals, but out of a 1 to 10, I'd give them a 9 and they'll get a 10 as soon as their fries improve. read more
