My go to coffee shop! My favorite coffee drink is the classic granita. My only complaint and the only reason why I didn't give a 5 star review, is because they got rid of my favorite muffin...the cappuccino chocolate chip muffin! The absolutely WORST service I have ever received!!! Between the eye rolling from both employees, to throwing my food and drinks across the coutner at me because they could obviously care less about their jobs almost made me lose it. Peach Palmer ftw. Love it and will never go back to the regular Arnold palmer. The iced velvet drinks are a bit like milkshakes tasty but omg so sweet. Drinks all around were delicious but a lot sweeter than I like. The thing I found off was they didn't have soap in either bathroom. When asked about soap the response was they can't fill them because it's handled by a third party. Most places would get a temporary countertop soap dispenser till the main ones get filled. The disturbing thing about not having soap is if that's a bathroom the employees use it's illegal for them to not wash their hands after using the bathroom. While I always have hand sanitizer I imagine not everyone carries that around on their person. read more

**Coffee Lover** Dropped by after an appointment, and boy was I amazed. I'm not a usual customer here, so I'm not familiar with their known staple. I ordered my usual for most places, a latte. I know a latte seems simple enough, but it can have a hiccup. If the entire mixture isn't steamed, you'll end up with a lukewarm drink. They did it perfectly. I was able to enjoy my hot latte during my drive back to Baton Rouge. Hot and tasty! The barista I came in contact with was very friendly and made sure I was pleased with my drink before concluding the sale. I forgot to mention, I was in a drive-through! Great latte and friendly service here! No need to say more. read more

I purchased a scone and coffee as I love my special treat from PJs Coffee. However, after taking a bite i realized the scone was burnt and hard as a rock heated. I returned to said store and was interrogated as why the scone was smaller, mind you, I broke it up trying to find a softer spot to eat, as if I had eaten half of that horrible scone. Then she gives me another scone in place of the burnt one only to find this one hard as a rock. I got a refund for that scone. I should of asked for my $1 tip back as I always give the workers a tip for delivering such great product and courtesy. Not today! This store should take some cooking lessons from the store on hwy 190, hwy 22 and hwy 21 all of which have never disappointed me. read more

Okay gotta say the bad first. PLEASE fix the light that is on at night at the 1077 location! I get migraines easily and it is horrible..idk how the workers stand it! It needs to be fixed immediately. Usually a good pjs. But we just got macadamia honey velvet ices. Super slow service, waited 5-10 minutes at the speaker with only one car in front of us at the window, with two people working. Rude employees. Also, they asked if we wanted whipped cream, we said yes please. No honey added, no whipped cream, and there is super blocky, chunky ice in our drinks. I'm literally "eating" my drink. Lol Ugh. Only gave two stars because my experiences here are usually decent/nice. Today they sucked! read more

The place looks fabulous and the coffee is great but the young guy taking the order was unfriendly and rather rude. He also was not wearing a mask. This is very bad, especially in terms of preparing coffee and food. I will not go there again. read more

I remember getting PJs coffee as a kid growing up in New Orleans. I'm glad to see they now have them within easy access of the interstate as I drive through south east Louisiana. The coffee is great, far better than Starbucks. I love the cafe au lait, but their other selections are great too. An added benefit is that they sell king cakes during Mardi Gras season, so it's the perfect place to pick one up if you're just passing through on a road trip. read more

I have been a regular customer here but they have a new barista by the name of Taylor and she's very unfriendly. She did not say hello or even thank me for my purchase. All of the other baristas are friendly and have people skills. They must be scraping the bottom of the barrel for baristas these days if they had to hire her. Went here Tuesday night for a small group/ bible study! Enjoyed the white mocha cappuccino, but more importantly the service. The gentleman working that night was outstanding. We were there until almost closing and he asked us if he could turn the vacuum on for a second because he spilled something! So kind and thoughtful to ask if he would disturb us. I frequent this establishment almost daily. Twice in the last couple days I've been overcharged for what I have ordered. (Ex. Charged for a medium when I ordered a small). If I had been given the larger size that would be different but I was not. When I questioned the amount, I was told the taxes have gone up. I explained to the worker this morning that I understand and I paid 3.29 for a small granita yesterday which was 3.26 before. That explains the tax increase so why was it 3.85 this morning. He just shrugged and couldn't give me an explanation. I proceeded to explain that I had been charged for a medium unless prices changed yesterday and all I got was a blank stare.
