    Cute coffee bar

Cute and quaint little coffee place in Old Mandeville. When you walk in, it is so welcoming and serene. Very cool vibe with sofas, tables and chairs, and a TV. Nice and quiet, just like I like it. Ordered a double espresso with milk and sweetener and it was divine! The only complaint I have is the staff....no smiles:/ Cheer up buttercups!

Holy shit. HOMEMADE pumpkin puree spice syrup. So good dammit.

Closed at 9:30 on a beautiful Sunday morning. Everywhere says open. This is the second time this has happened.

No coffee during normal business hours. No baristas in the shop. This place should close.

Surprisingly flavorful iced lattes! Cute indoor seating area but only 5-ish tables. First floor restroom is clean and easily accessible.

Nice space in an interesting neighborhood, but the shop doesn't seem to know how to make a cup of coffee.

Their coffee tasted burnt. I got a large latte and it was all milk. The barista was rude, she had no clue what she was doing

Great ambience. Loved the fresh flowers in Patrōn bottles. Nice iced mocha and tasty salted caramel cookie.

I just happened to be attempting to "clean up" my phone and messages, etc., and when I checked into…read morethe "yelp" site here, I find a response to my review here almost a year ago which for some unknown reason I cannot pull back up and post. I really wish I could because although I had not thought about this review or the business at all within the past year, obviously someone else did. It would seem to be someone associated with the creamery who decided it was a good idea to completely validate my experience as being an honest report stating that the employee closed up early to go home before the storm, of course this employee nor the responder considered that they did not bother to admit that their competition just a few doors down that DID NOT and received my business that night nor did this person or employee consider that a simple note on the door explaining the situation would have been an appropriate response BUT felt it most appropriate to inform me that there was "NO NEED to leave a one star review." I noted there were 4-5 other ONE STAR REVIEWS further noted here and was curious if they were also informed that there "ONE STAR REVIEWS" were "not needed". I reread my review and it was not offensive in any way and their response validated my experience so rather than attempt to obtain a potential customer's business, this obvious owner or manager elected to chastise me for daring to leave a honest, respectful customer experience. As someone who worked service industry and lower level management waitressing tables to pay my way through college and medical school to become a physician, I find this type of attitude both baffling, insulting, rude and very much "not needed". I not only wish that YELP would make it easier for others to read this response to my review and whether the 5 OTHER ONE STAR REVIEWS received the same type of feedback. I have not thought of EPIC CREAMERY or my experience or to attempt to return and MOST CERTAINLY at this point am quite glad and will continue to do so as EPIC CREAMERY has clearly expressed that they have "NO NEED" for business. What a puzzling business strategy to express in this economic climate and even more discouraging behavior to model to young employees. I wish you all luck in your future endeavors as I will continue to have "NO NEED" to of spending my money or encouraging others to do so there when there are so many much more welcoming and EPIC ice cream shops in this area.

I didn't have the greatest experience here for my first time. I came here on a Sunday morning…read moreduring Labor Day weekend. We gave ourselves an hour and a half, enough time to eat and get to our next planned and scheduled event that day. So, we weren't in a rush. We get in the quickly moving line to order our food at the counter. I order a salmon bagel and the hubs ordered a meatball ciabatta. We sit down and I noticed it is a very busy place. It is a very large place and I noticed how clean everything was and how efficient all the workers were at getting the food out. One after the other, food was coming out like an assembly line and the food looked good, too. But the assembly line apparently stopped, no orders were coming out, and we waited about 20 or 25 minutes. At least we had our drinks because it is a counter service type establishment. We noticed stacks and stacks of 'to go' orders were being placed in the counter area. After nearly 35 or 40 minutes we get our food. Some guy had ordered a 'football teams' worth amount of food. So, although it was not the restaurant's fault, it was frustrating the timing that our order was f course put in right after the guy that ordered 20 dishes. I get my bagel to try to eat quickly, since now we are in a little bit of a rush. And the bagel couldn't have been more complicated to eat. I just wanted a complete lox bagel but it was a deconstructed bagel where I had to put the thing together. I would have enjoyed the meal a little better had my bagel been properly served, like for example, the way Flour Moon serves their bagels to customers. I don't know if we will be back because I rarely visit the Northshore, this was a special occasion. I guess if I do come back, I would like to try one or two of the desserts from the case. Those looked really good.
