I generally don't slam businesses that are mismanaged, because I know that the employees are sometimes overworked and underpaid. As long as their attitude isn't bad, I just brush it off and hope my next experience is better. So today my order was taken by Harley, who was the only person working(this store is almost always understaffed, causing long waits and people walking out that get tired of waiting). I placed my coffee order and asked her if the muffins were fresh, to which she replied "I may have some back there," and started to total out my order. I asked if she could check and immediate attitude! Begrudgingly she walked to the back and let me know that she did have them fresh. After totalling me out I paid and tipped her over $3 which would've' been more if not for her attitude, and ZERO if I knew what would happen next. She started making my order and in between took another customer's order, which wasn't an issue, as 4 other customers had come in after me. When she had finished my drink, she set it on the counter and then handed the person who was next after me their drink and started to wash the blender that her drink had been prepared in. Still waiting on my muffins...so I asked if I could get the muffins and she ignored me and took the 2nd person after me's order and had him pay for it. Now I know she's f ing with me, and I ask AGAIN for the muffins. She says nothing to me, goes in the back, get the muffins and sets them down without even looking at me. When I asked her name, she barely spoke it, with a face full of attitude and walked right by. I used to work in the service industry and understand getting slammed, when you're by yourself, but the attitude from Harley was enough to keep me out of this place for good. I have worked within walking distance to this location for almost 12 years, and have spent thousands of dollars on coffee and pastries, etc. over those years. The ownership clearly does not care about this place, as they constantly under staff what is a fairly busy location. The Ballards, who own most of the PJ's in the New Orleans area, are customers of mine, and NONE of their stores are run as badly as this one. It's funny that they have a "rewards" program for loyal customers, and treat long time loyal customers with attitude and disrespect. Sorry for the long rant, but I won't deal with a workers horrible attitude...I see hundreds of local people every day, and I will tell all of them about today's experience with Harley. I ordered a flat white and it was delicious. The barista serving was a little inexperienced but did a wonderful job and was very friendly. The cookie I got was a little burnt on the bottom but was ok. Nice and clean easy going atmosphere. read more

I came in at 8:30AM with the simplest order in the world. "Large hot coffee to go". I got my coffee, got on the road, took a sip and the coffee was lukewarm. How do you mess this up? Disappointing. Do not recommend. Will not return. read more

Excited to update this review. I've been avoiding this coffee shop, since having such a disappointing experience here. But it's within walking distance of my tire shop and it made sense to wait here, while my car was getting new tires. Great improvement. The place looks clear and cheery and the help has been great. I've been here awhile and lots of people have been coming and going. So, hopefully word has gotten out. Nice comeback, PJs. read more

Great service and attention here at PJ's in the Three Rivers shopping center. They just got new *comfortable* furniture. The old stuff was really dated. Makes me want to spend even more time here. Heheh read more

I love P.J's coffee!! The employees at this location are wonderful! They take the time to remember your order and always greet you and make small talk! My only complaint is that they do not participate in the loyalty program!! When I'm spending 10$ + a day there, it would be nice to have that perk like other PJs. Other than that it's a great place!!! read more

Three and a half stars, actually. Barristas were very, very friendly... that's not a small thing. But they were a little distracted and kept distracting each other. Took three times as long to get stuff done as the PJ's on Maple, Magazine, or Poydras, where branches are busier but the employees are more focused. The men's room was a bit of a wreck: this is my only time visiting this PJ's, so that might just have been one discourteous morning customer, not a regular problem. Hopefully it's not characteristic of the place. My iced coffee was a little watery compared to the ones I usually get on the South Shore, but I don't know if that's habitual here or just an unhappy accident. The location is convenient, but the outdoor area is right next to a loud highway, so not ideal for reading or working. read more

Love the coffee the staff are very friendly too, I always get the breakfast blend & a breakfast sandwich too.

My first visit here and I am quite pleased with my choice. I arrived at about 6:30 a.m. there were 3 customers in the restaurant. The staff member was very cordial and was right on the job for each order. Prices are a little less than Starbucks. Starbucks is very close to me and PJ'S is just as convenient a location for me. I went here because the Yelp reviews for the Covington Starbucks on Hwy 190 are so consistently bad and the reviews for PJ'S are so consistently good. I am very satisfied with my choice. The store has a relaxing even cosy atmosphere. There are a couple of tables in the front, two in the back along with two booths and two nice soft chairs. I liked it so much I ended up staying an hour and a half. I may have stayed longer but I had something else to do this morning. I didn't get a notification on my phone for available WiFi so I don't know if they have WiFi or if it's just not working. My advice is to pass on Starbucks and go here instead. read more

Really great coffee. Definitely tops any Starbucks. I got a iced mocha with organic soymilk... Delicious. My wife got a non fat iced vanilla latte. My daughter got a huge cookie with chocolate chips, and chunks. Spend your money at PJ's, its well worth it. read more

This place is one of the worst run coffee shops I have ever been in. After placing a very large order for two huge containers of coffee, I was charged for packs of sugar, cups and straws to mix. The manager or owner has the attitude that she could care less if you do business there or not. Guess what big mamma, I will NEVER come back and will steer all I can away. You do not deserve to be in a customer service establishment serving the public. It will be a matter of time before a for rent sign is hanging on your door. Keep up the lousy job read more
