Enjoyed my experience at PJ's coffee. Met a friend for coffee. We both got the pack of 6 beignets with sauce (she tried chocolate and I went with caramel). Very helpful staff explained things to us and answered our questions patiently. Ordering was easy and our drinks and food came out fast. The beignets are made fresh so they took just a few minutes but were worth the wait! Generously covered with powered sugar, the beignets were warm and tasty. With a nice crispy outside and soft tender inside they were very yummy! [[HIGHLIGHT]]My coffee was tasty, a tad on the sweet side for me so I might try something simpler next time.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Tucked away in a larger shopping center, parking is easy and convenient. It's a comfortable spot with a variety of indulgent coffee drinks, plus some pastries and breakfast sandwiches. "Indulgent" means a selection heavy on cream, sugary flavorings, and Ghirardelli chocolate. For someone trying to cut or reduce sugar the drink selection becomes more limited: black coffee, espresso, and americano are about it. None of those have much appeal to me. Went for the first time and ordered a hot chocolate and beignet. The quality/flavor of both were amazing. I love that they use a top shelf brand of cocoa and not some cheap powder. Also, the beignet was just like the kind you find in New Orleans. I ended up ordering a small batch to go for my family to try and added on the strawberry topping. They loved them! I really want to like this place. But come on. Look at that drink. It's 85% ice. $6.00 for a small iced drink and I got less than 15 sips. Do better! This was my second time here. The first time they couldn't take my $100 bill at the drive thru window (no problem) so I went and got change then came back and went inside. The younger woman who took my order was cheery and had set my order aside for when I came back. The older woman rang me up and couldn't be bothered. I don't know if she felt it was beneath her to work at a coffee shop but let me tell you, I could tell she wasn't happy. No smile. Instead of handing my change back to me, she put it on the counter even though my hand was outstretched to accept it. Not the biggest deal, but the iced chai I got was full to the lid with ice. I finished the drink and the ice was still touching the lid. I think I'll just look up what chai mix they use and make my own. One star for cleanliness. One star for delicious. If they had all been friendly, that wouldn't been 4 stars and if my drink had been more than 2 ounces of liquid it would've been 5 stars :/ read more

I went to Pjs coffee with my "Coffee Club" and had a great experience. There were three of us and I think we all ordered the Honey Oat Latte. I ordered the bagel breakfast sandwich and the others ordered one in a biscuit. When the food came out it was hot and delicious. I hate to say this, but I am just not a fan of the coffee here. I have tried the cold brew, and two different lattes and they are just not for me. I know the coffee has a little spice for the new Orleans flair, but I personally just can't get behind it. I will say the beignets are great though, so give those a go! read more

I really wanted to love this place, and was excited for a new coffee addition to the LSL area. But on the multiple occasions I've gotten coffee from here it's been a nightmare. Not only is the service terrible and mediocre, along with a wait at the window which is always horrendous even when no one is there (which is most of the time). But the coffee is flat out AWFUL... it's extremely watered down and is absolutely disgusting. All water, no coffee, and the cold foam tastes horrible and literally disappears into the coffee upon receiving your iced drink. Tastes like a coffee that's been sitting on the counter for an hour. Homemade coffees at home are better and that's saying a lot. Not sure if it's because the 15 year olds working there don't know how to make coffee or if someone hasn't taught them how, but this is just not it, especially when there's an amazing Starbucks right down the street. This place just needs to be told what's up, because people want to like it. I've tried liking this coffee place, but everyone I know hates it too. I only went there again, after the last bad experience, because I needed a drink and Starbucks was busy. Food is good, service is ridiculously meh, coffee... all I can say RUN! read more

Atmosphere is chill and the Baristas are very helpful when you're indecisive about what to drink/eat.

Really wanted to like this place as a local coffee shop, but the service is always so slow. Even if you are the only customer, the drive thru takes forever. Coffee is ok. Scones are good. Definitely need to work on customer service. read more
