Service is great. It's brand new but they are still fast and very friendly and accurate. Recommend the frozen hot chocolate

I buy extra when I can because of the minus side... It is almost impossible to get in here! I don't mind queuing up to wait at a restaurant, but every time I try to go they are lined up out the door. I have tried to go at off-times and it's still busy. Being so busy, the experience at the counter always feels rushed and there is nowhere to sit, so I never stick around once I have my bagels. I realize it's a good problem for a restaurant to have, but it still makes me want to go elsewhere. Most times I do. The bagels are a definite 5+ stars. The overall experience is 2 stars at best. Splitting the difference and giving them 3. I keep going back (well, trying to, at least) because the bagels are that good. Your results may vary. If you figure out a decent time to go in, give me a holler and let me know. I'll buy you a bagel!

The fresh bagels are delicious as are the house made cream cheeses. I got a half dozen to take home with everything and oat being faves but the cherry almond and pumpernickel didn't disappoint either. They have a nice serve yourself coffee bar offering all Abita Roasting coffee in all varieties. Creole Bagelry and Cafe also offers a huge selection of bennys, omelettes, Belgian Waffles and breakfast sandwiches , lunch sandwiches, salads and lunch platters. Don't skip the frozen coffees and teas !

If you're looking for the best bagels in New Orleans, Flour Moon Bagels is the absolute go-to spot…read more The fact that they bake their bagels fresh daily is a huge plus, and you can definitely taste the difference. The Food: The menu is fantastic, featuring a great variety of cream cheeses, made-to-order tartines, and breakfast sandwiches. On my recent visit, we tried the breakfast sandwich and the Fortuna tartine--you honestly can't go wrong with either one. While all of their bagels are top-notch, my personal favorite is the Cheddar Everything Bagel. It pairs perfectly with anything you order. Secret Menu Alert: You'll find the Cheddar Everything on the online menu but not the paper menus in-store, making it a fun hidden gem! The Service: Because the food is so good, expect a long line if you go on a weekend. Don't let that deter you, though; the staff is incredibly efficient at keeping the line moving and getting the food out fast. They do offer online ordering, but keep in mind they seem to turn it off during peak rushes. The Vibe: Overall, this is a perfect spot for brunch with friends or family. There's plenty of outside seating, and with a brewery right next door, you even have the option to pair your fresh bagel with a great local beer. Highly recommend!

The attitude of the staff has COMPLETELY IMPROVED!! It's like they realized that they are in the South and are expected to be nice unlike the New York attitude I have previously experienced. I never questioned the quality of the bagels or the cream cheese. I definitely recommend going early to ensure they still have product. This has become my weekly treat.

You line up, order at the front, and they call out your name when it's ready. I had a sausage, egg, and cheese on an everything bagel which I found very comparable (if not, better?) to the bagels I've had in New York/Jersey. They gave me the option of the type of cheese!! I've never been offered this option. I selected pepperjack, and thought it was great. The bagel sandwiches are huge. It's not a huge menu, only ~5 cream cheese options, but basically anything you could want. They had coffee, water, juices, gatorade. Lots of families and Tulane students in pajamas. They even had some green, gold, and purple swirl bagels. Awesome!

Their new location is in the small strip mall next to The Drunken Fish. This new location offers a covered patio for outdoor dining, as well as ample parking in the private lot in front of the location. They still have all of their classic sandwiches and bagel pizzas, and have even added a few new ones! The main ingredient is of course the authentic bagels. These are the best in Baton Rouge, and are made by a great local business. It's hard to beat that combination. If you want something different, they also have Reuben's and Muffulettas.

If you're wanting the change from a bagel you can also swap it for a croissant (which I love!) I prefer the sandwiches to the bagel pizzas, but the pizzas are nice for a change. Their coffee options are really good too! And I always get suckered into grabbing one on my way out the door. The outdoor area has some cute patio furniture as well as tables, and the inside is very spacious while still having a good bit of seating.
